Jen has helped me so much with my dry skin and redness. It's getting better every week!

I've had several facials from Jen and all have been amazing leaving me with noticeable results and skin improvement. She got me all set up with the appropriate skin care line for my specific needs and 4 weeks later I can confirm I see a difference! My latest treatment was the oxygen facial and it had my skin smooth and glowing. Absolutely will be getting that one again. The environment is so welcoming, clean, and calm. Highly recommend!

I discovered Plumb + Pine when they had their 2nd Wellness Soirée last fall. I was really into SkinCeuticals at the time and wanted to shop the sale and learn about their services. I had the pleasure of connecting with owner Jen, who is very warm, refreshing and genuine. A licensed cosmetologist, she dreamed of creating a space offering results-driven skincare: offering advanced aesthetic treatments a little bit higher than what you get at a spa and just below what you'd get at a dermatologist/plastic surgeon/med spa. I loved hearing her story and vision and navigating opening a new business during the covid lockdown. I also really appreciated that she didn't push selling pricey services to me that I didn't need. There is sooooo much sales pressure in the beauty industry, it was refreshing to meet a local business owner who wasn't pushing that. I already had access to most of their services between two estheticians at two other local businesses, so I didn't really see myself needing to add a third day spa to my rotation. However, I continued to shop their sales and I was quite interested in DMK Enzyme Therapy as I had never seen anything like it before. I wasn't planning on investing in any more skin treatment series, but this past January Jen documented her journey with DMK StemZyme therapy and her results just blew me away! I had started having a very severe flare of rosacea that was really killing my self-esteem. They wound up doing a deal on StemZyme and I decided to take a leap and try it before they increased the price. Advanced Esthetician Ashley Pearce had reached out to me on Instagram, she had recognized me from shopping their sales and following their Instagram posts. She is such a wonderful esthetician and I am so glad that she sought out my business. She is beautiful, talented, genuine, passionate and cares so much about her clients. My favorite thing about Ashley is that she is trustworthy. Like Jen, she does not push sales and actually helps you identify areas where you can save your money, a refreshing rarity in this industry! StemZyme therapy and the enzyme mask aren't as relaxing as traditional facials for me, but by George, they induce results! I find myself borderline intolerably itchy about halfway through the mask, but then it subsides. I am READY for it to come off at the end of the 40 minutes! I have also been focusing on gut health, lifestyle changes and stress management which has also really added to my results. If you're willing to take the journey and do the work, StemZyme can really transform your skin's life for the better. I have spent a LOT of time educating myself and dabbling with all the various aesthetic procedures over the past year and a half or so, including CO2 laser, chemical peels, neuromodulators, OxyGeneo Glo2 facial and Diamond Glow. It has been a fun journey, but StemZyme, DMK, and Ashley P at P+P are definitely going to continue being part of my skincare journey over the years to come! Also of note, P+P is the ONLY place in town offering StemZyme therapy! While Ashley P is the one for me, all of the estheticians here are wonderful, passionate and beautiful! They share a sense of ownership in partnering their services with Jen and P+P, proudly documenting the results of their clients on their individual Instagram pages as well as the main one for P+ P. Most places are posting stock industry photos on their websites, not actual results with clients. Their successes with their clients are living expressions of Jen's dream of results-driven skincare. Nice work, ladies!! I would be remiss if I left out one other important, amazing, special lady in this glowing review...Spa manager, Chris! She is so genuine, friendly, warm, funny and beautiful inside and out! She loves what she does and it is infectious and delightful! She strives to ensure you have the best experience and always makes sure you get full value of any sales or deals they have going on. July is their birthday month and this year, they are 4! They have some amazing specials for you to take advantage of this month! They also just launched their online storefront, so you can buy your products and have them directly shipped to you! I cannot recommend this day spa, these products and these ladies enough to anyone who is struggling with a skin issue. Congrats on 4 successful years, P+P! May you have many more successful years to come! See you soon!

It was such a nice treat to be here since I hadn't been here to Spa Toscana since before Covid with a group of my friends from work. We checked in and I was called back by Karla almost immediately for my 50 minute signature massage. Karla was very friendly, kept my robe warm while she worked her magic on my knots. I felt like melted butter when I retired to the tranquility room. I was surprised to see how busy it was for a Monday afternoon, but happy to see they steadily busy. We took advantage of the steam room, snacks, tea and a few amenities before calling it a day and returning to our families. Thank you Karla and to my bestie for such a sweet birthday gift. We'll see you again in August to celebrate my bestie's birthday. Tip: They offer a local discount if you go during the week. I don't believe they offer it on Fridays, but do call ahead to confirm.

I scheduled a deep tissue massage (last minute, I'm sorry to the spa), but my therapist was Jackie. I'm not kidding when I tell you it was the best massage of my life. It is my birthday month, hence we've been here many times this February, and I am revisiting Jackie. I literally told her I loved her after my massage. Lol Moving forward, I called a few days ago to schedule (not trying to last minute this one) and I asked for Jackie and my same treatment. The spa was so accommodating and Jackie was available. #happy We used to always stay at Atlantis, and I would spa there while the hubby skis, but when we started this Peppermill spa and casino, YES! I'm so in love with the experiences I have here. That's why we are back next week ;) Thank you Spa Toscana, Peppermill and Jackie most of all! I will be back again, for sure.

It was described on their…read morewebsite as a: Side-by-side treatment with softening soak and scrub, followed by nail care, trimming, buffing, and gel polish. Includes a bar beverage and a chocolate lava cake. Most of that was true, but I have to admit it was the chocolate lava cake that secured the appointment, because my mom is a chocoholic... and it was the chocolate lava cake that was neither offered, nor received. The staff was lovely and the nail technicians were competent, but the overall vibe was lacking. If there was music on, it was too low to hear. The central view was of a wall hanging fountain that was dirty and had a power cord hanging over the top of it. We opted out of gel polish, for personal reasons, and were fairly astounded at the slim pickings for regular polish... not even a basic, classic red was available (and that's what we were there for, at Christmastime). Lastly, because there were appointments stacked right behind us, understandably at the time of year, we were dismissed in flip flops. I was surprised there weren't drying lights available to us to wait under until our polish dried, in another area so the pedicure chairs could be evacuated and made ready for the next customers. It felt very slipshod to be walking my 75+yo mom out of the resort, in December, in barefoot and sandals. Because she was cold, she put her shoes on before exiting and messed up her polish. I know this isn't exactly the fault of the nail salon, but had we been given drying options, it wouldn't have happened. I was asked by the spa, afterward, in an automatic text form, to review my experience. I filled out a review, but I exceeded the allotted characters and was only able to address the lack of chocolate, promised in the price of the service, and the shortage of standard color options in the regular polish selections. It's been eleven days since our appointments, I understand Christmas happened between then and now and took that into account, but I have been surprised that no one reached out to address my dissatisfaction in the pricey package. Had I been contacted by the spa to simply acknowledge my concerns, I would have kept my review private.

We had massages and spent the day utilizing the amenities. The locker rooms are clean and always stocked with towels. The locker room attendant was constantly in there restocking, cleaning, etc. Plenty of digital lock lockers, bathroom area, showers, steam room, sauna, private changing area (if needed), they offer body scrubs that you can take into the showers, vanity areas, lounge area with flavored water, coffee, tea, bottle waters, and snacks. This lounge area is also where the massage staff come to pick you up for your appt. Once you leave the locker rooms they have so many coed areas for you to access. Himalayan salt room that is pretty big. Cushioned loungers and heated bench areas with lighting that changes. Very quiet and relaxing. The Laconian relaxation room is a bit smaller. This is a gentle dry heat room set to 104 typically used to reduce stress, detoxify and purify. Seated bench areas inside are heated and there are some small ottomans to put your feet up. There's a beautifully well lit area due to all the windows that has two hot tubs, shower area, and cold plunge. Seating in this area is a bit limited when crowded. Decent number of loungers and some chairs, but it can get busy. Additionally you can access the fitness center and pool areas. The pool areas are nice and you can order food from the menu to be brought out. Please note it's not a private pool for just the spa. The pool areas (inside and outside) are accessible to hotel guests so you could have kids being kids. The massage room was clean and relaxing. The massage staff we had were very professional and excellent. We loved our couples massage. I added on dry brushing and a coconut oil scalp treatment...unbelievable. My massage staff, Marlina, is excellent. The lobby/check-in area is nice and clean with plenty of products to purchase. Check-in and check-out were very easy. We left feeling very relaxed and excited to come back again in the future.

We both got 60min Swedish massages and a scalp massage add on. The massages were great, no complaints there! We like to go early to enjoy the amenities and we enjoyed the hot tub area which was only for 21+ but the rest of the pool/hot tub areas were extremely loud with children. It was not at all a relaxing atmosphere with the screaming kids and getting splashed by them doing cannonballs into the pool. The locker area, salt and relaxing room were not as nice as Spa Toscana either. They also do not accept Spa Finder gift cards which is what we usually use for our spa trips as well. Not a bad experience and a good second option but we prefer the Peppermill!

You can't beat their locals (and CA residents) get 35% off in Dec-March Sunday through Thursday. For a 25 minute "grand sampler" massage and entrance to their day spa all day I only paid 60$ plus tip and tax. Their day spa is so nice! It's modern and decorated in a tranquil teal color (my fave). It's a 9 hour escape from my kids and normal life and it's never too busy here. They have a co Ed relaxation room, HUGE co Ed spa that's the size of a small swimming pool, separate ladies spa, ladies lounge , ladies eucalyptus steam room and ladies dry sauna. What more could you want?! Feedback for improving- they used to have overhead rain showers now they have wall shower heads. Bring those back! They used to have a mist you can spray while you shower to fill the shower with eucalyptus and lavender. It used to be chained to the shower wall. They don't have those anymore. Bring those back! They used to give you one complimentary mimosa when you arrived. No more. Bring those back! Also, my shower suddenly went extremely cold when someone flushed the toilet. That needs to be worked on for sure. My robe was supposed to be a white or ivory on the inside. I know from experience. But the one I got must have been washed on hot and the dark color bled and made the inside look just grungy. That's an easy fix for them. Even with the above I'll keep coming back and rating it 5 stars for atmosphere and local appreciation.

Just Wow. -End of review- *kidding-The wow is all good feels 1-Location Location Location:. The space? Warm, welcoming, inviting. The location doesn't have endless amounts of parking, so either get there early or I parked across the street in the Too Soul Tea parking lot, or there's some street parking. She is located in the same building as a Yoga Studio and Pizza place, so it is a popular corner. 2-Prep: Jasmine sends you a questionnaire ahead of time to learn about you: Any prior injuries to be concerned with? Pressure levels you like? And others. 3-Comfortability: Jasmine's voice is soothing and not grating. I've had massages from some people who don't have the nicest sounding voice, so trying to relax is harder. But her voice is awesome. 4-Additional services: She has some awesome additives that make the massage even better, paid and unpaid. Complimentary that I've never had in a regular massage but have in pedicures are hot stones. Oh man, those were so nice on the chilly winter day. Face mask was a paid add on I think, and they are sheet masks approved by Erin of Geollenial, so you know you're getting quality skin care. And there are a variety of others, be sure to ask about them when you go. Final thoughts: Yes. Absolutely. Book your massage with Jasmine. You won't regret it. I have my next massage with her pre-booked here at the end of the month and I am STOKED for it. She suggested that we up it to 90 minutes rather than 60 because of 1-how long it's been since I had a massage (prior to the Dec 30 appointment), and 2-how tight and tense my muscles are.
