I had another great experience with Plumber 2 The Rescue. Long story short there was an explosion in our neighborhood that caused a crack in a water pipe that was attached to our ground wire (see attached video). It was between the shut off to the house and the meter. Robert came out within an hour and was able to shut the water off at the meter to get the water to stop flowing. He fixed the pipe and even installed an easier shut off valve for me. He made sure I knew how to use it before he left. The price was fair and Robert was very careful with our lawn and plants he was working next too. He explained everything he did and took photos. The handle for one of the showers just kept turning and was not shutting off the water. Had to cut the water off to the whole condo but after some research, the cartridge was probably old and broken. While I was able to purchase a new replacement cartridge at Home Depot, I thought it best to have a plumber change it out in case it's something else. Fortunately, it was the right diagnosis and part!!! Nevertheless, it was a frantic morning of calling many plumbers hoping that someone had time the same day to come by. When I purchased my condo, the dishwasher that came with it quickly died. The dishwasher company said it was impossible to fix since it's a twenty-year-old dishwasher, and the parts that needed replacing no longer exist. Our long time plumber had recently retired, and we needed to find someone to help us with a few projects. Looking at Yelp reviews has really worked for us in researching contractors and this search proved successful too! Ideally, we wanted to find a plumber based in Culver City. We are so happy to have found Plumber 2 the Rescue and to now have Edwin in our network of excellent trades people. Edwin is so professional, patient and friendly. He came to our condo four times over a two week time period. We needed help specifying a replacement for our vintage porcelain sink as well as fixing low water pressure issues and hard to turn bathroom faucets and replacing a shower head/arm. He gave us the sink specification and the part descriptions for the faucet valves and referred us to Ferguson Plumbing (an excellent source!) Brittany was great to work with, as we had to deal with some considerable timing complications of receiving a freight delivery for the heavy cast iron porcelain kitchen sink, resulting in the set up and rescheduling of several appointments. Most recently I was helped by George who adjusted the bathtub drain linkage assembly, and installed a new flush valve in the toilet (which I had attempted to do myself not quite correctly). He also let me know what parts to order from Koehler in case I had further issues. I've used this company for many years now. They are easy to connect with, prompt, polite, and have always done a great job.

I have been using P2TR for several years now for clogs, main line blading and faucets repairs. They have always been reliable and fair with the pricing for these smaller jobs. A few months ago, I used them to install a water conditioner system that requires copper piping work. They did a great job for half a day's work and at a great price compared to a few companies that quoted 5 to 7 times the P2TR prices because the work needed include unnecessary mounting brackets and pressure regulators. Josh, the owner, came out to give a free on-site quote unlike several of the companies that charged for a quote and missed the appointment. I couldn't recommend P2TR more for both small and big jobs. Thursday the kitchen sink flooded. I called the Plumbing Doctor a little too early friday morning.. at 7:30 and they were able to squeeze me in. Warren and his guy showed up at 9:30 and the work was complete by 10:30. They were very professional and I couldn't find anything wrong to fault them on. They showed up and got to work right away like a doctor in the emergency room! While they were working, I asked Warren if he knew people were talking about him on Yelp. I asked why there were no pictures of him so he says for the last seven years he's never able to take a good picture. Since he seemed like such a nice guy, I told him I'll help take pictures to post on yelp to help them. Although when I was talking to the other guy, he told me that they've been getting pretty busy lately. Good people, good prices, and they didn't make a big mess like other plumber's I've had.
