Terrible customer service. Be careful of up charging. I indicated I had an urgent issue and I was off from work 3pm. I was told that their operating window was 2 to 4 so if they came at 2 and I was not there there would be an additional change and if I wanted the operating window 3 to 5 there would be an additional after hours charge. My bathroom sink plastic joint broke. Could not find the correct piece to fix it myself from Home Depot. They said they had never seen that piece. Talked to Lisa at Plumbing Experts and told her I had a photo of the piece I needed. I was told we don't need it we have parts on the truck. The plumber did not have the piece, gave me two choices, he could go back to warehouse and look for it and charge me $269 for driving there and back with no guarantee of finding it or replacing the faucet for $600+ on a builders grade faucet. I refused both and was charged $88 for nothing when I could have been told they didn't have the piece if they would have let me send the picture to begin with. read more

Don't be fulled by their free estimate or coupons. I was quoted and estimate of $350 - $550 to have a kitchen sink installed. They knew when I called that I had a dishwasher and garbage disposal, but when the man came here he gave me another estimate of $881 He nickle and dime me for everything and I ended up sending him away. Had Gianni come out and fix both are toilets due to a backup in the pipes. He did a GREAT job and I would recommend requesting for him every-time. He was on time and let us know everything we needed to it didn't happen again. 5 stars for sure read more

They are awful. Do not use them. I had a pipe leak. They sent out their "specialist" who did a leak detection with sonor. It was 100% WRONG. They said it was under the slab in the laundry room from the main pipe outside. They would need to dig up and replace it from the outside. This was wrong. It was a 1/2 pipe in the garage wall that lead to water heater in corner of garage. It was not the main pipe, not under the slab and tile and no digging was needed. They still charged me $499 for leak detection that was wrong. Thank goodness I got a second opinion and they fixed it. They cut a hole in wall, fixed the pipe and patched it. I called to complain and wanted a refund and Barbara at dispatch said ok. Then disputed it with American Express and the owner Clement Winke said the work was done and I signed authorization form so charges are good. I am still disputing it. All I can say is their asssessment was 100% wrong, they charged for something they didn't do and they wouldn't do any additional work, until I used an adjuster they recommended and had their dry team and mold team come out The worst!!!!! read more

They came out to our office and cleared the drain and we happily paid them for their service. In less then 24 hours we had the same problem. We tried to clean the clog ourselves and it would clear for a few hours and then back up again. We called them back in and they said their work on clogs is only good for 24 hours. Now they wanted to charge me full price again and this time another $300 to have a camera put in the drain to see what the clog was all about. Of course we said no got the old fashion plunger out and fixed it ourselves. Don't ever use this company....they only want to make more money and not fix your problem right the first time! read more

I can see why most of their reviews are one star. I had a serious clog where the water from my shower would back up and sewage would back up into my shower. I called them since I didn't know any other plumbers in the area. The plumber gave me one price if he "didn't have to go on the roof". Of course, he had to go on the roof. Ended up being $360 to clear the clog. The very first time we tried to use the shower, sewage backed up into the shower again. I called them back and they said I'd have to pay again to have someone come back out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a bunch of rip offs. I would hate for someone to experience what I did with this company. I am the first to write a good review if warranted but I had never been more compelled to write this review because how this company literally took my money and did not do the job. Plumber Greg came out and quoted me $275 to install new pipe from my laundry drain after I explained that there must be a clog somewhere since I mended the pipe before. Either way he cut the elbow joint that took him 5 seconds to do then decided to use a $6 balloon drain unclogger to try and unclog the pipe to come to the conclusion that installing the new pipe would be futile since what I told him about the clog was true. He wrote on the company invoice that he couldn't complete the job as quoted and could not charge me. This however did not stop the owner Clement from sending me the bill for the $275 for the mere fact he sent his plumber to my house. I explained Greg wrote on the invoice that he couldn't charge me since the job couldn't be done as quoted. They kept the money and now I have to resort to let everyone know to stay away from this company. His own employee told me that owner is shady! Go figure. READ OTHER REVIEWS! Thought I would try a different company than the one I normally use for the ghost flushing in our master bathroom toilet. Fifteen minutes past the 2 hour window, and I heard nothing from them. When I called, they said the technician was 20-30 minutes away, and apologized for not letting me know. 45 minutes later, he shows up. When I explained the problem, he starts telling me I may have to replace the whole toilet. Needless to say my blood was boiling - he said this without even looking at the toilet. So he did a dye test - and shame on me for not watching him. I walked away for a few minutes, and for all I know he poured some dye in the bowl. He quoted me $250 for a minor toilet repair consisting of water measuring device, float ball & flapper, plus the $49 service charge. Good thing I had a $36 coupon, since I told him I was going to get another opinion, so I was only charged $14. Sure enough, I went to the company I usually use, and all that was needed to be done was to replace the flapper. Cost? $102 including service charge after $10 coupon. Stay away from Plumbing Experts, they will rip you off!!!! read more

I have a leaky toilet. So on a Monday I called The Plumbing Experts at the Miami Dade phone number they provide on their website http://plumbingexperts.com/ (305) 947-9968. The lady asks me what is wrong so I tell her. Then she asked where I live and I gave her the address. She said there would be a $68 charge to come out and assess the situation so I said fine. So she I am going to send you an email to confirm the charge. I replied agreeing to the charge then I get no communication about the appointment. When I called again on Friday she makes the appointment for the plumber to come out on Saturday. When I called on Saturday because the guy never showed and the lady that makes the appointment picks up then she proceeds to tell me after all this that they don't serve the Pinecrest area or anything that far south. Why didn't she say that from the beginning when I called on Monday. What a huge waste of time and now I am angry for her stringing me along this way. read more

Terrible. Do not use this company. Had them out to unclog a drain on our deck. The tech pulled out some roots and sand. Charged me $200. I asked if the drain was clear. He said it was. Sadly I did not make him demonstrate that it was. After he left with my $200 I found out that the drain was still clogged. They refused to come back and fix it. To make a call at 8:30 AM and have a plumber at your house at 11:30 AM is a wonderful thing. I had a non-functioning toilet that needed immediate attention, and it was promptly fixed. Necessary parts were in the truck - no waiting for orders or additional appointments. I have used this company in the past, and they were equally prompt and efficient about replacing another toilet in my home. They are reliable, reasonably priced and, most important, their plumbers are very well qualified. read more

Had someone come out in a semi-emergency when my regular plumber was out of town....big and expensive mistake. The repair could not be made, but the technician was able to use a 5" piece of teflon plumbers tape to temporarily stop the leak and then I got the bill for $167.99. Really? We needed a new water heater. No emergency, it was just time for a new one. The gentleman Carlos on the phone was very professional and the receptionist was very polite. We determined the appropriate replacement and agreed on a price which was lower than Home Depot by about $200 + dollars. A coupon in the local flyer for 10% was cheerfully redeemed after we determined the final price. So no funny business! Right on time in the window Carlos stated. I called to have the plumbing replaced under the sink, it was done promptly and well I didn't argue about the price. I asked the repairman to give me an estimate about hooking up a new water heater, which he did, but it wouldn't produce any hot water in an hour. I called the serviceman back, he stopped over and told me I'd have to call an electrician to figure out what the problem was. There was no electrical issue with the previous water that was replaced. I asked him to call the toll free service number for Rheem to see if they could help diagnose the problem, he didn't, saying that they wouldn't be of any help. So, I have a hot water heater with no hot water. What good is a company that says they install hot water heaters, and then say they're not electricians? Isn't electricity also part of the installation? Now I'm screwed after several phone calls to Plumbing Experts! Experts they are obviously NOT when it comes to water heaters. He came checked it out quick. Locked in his book and said $379 to much for me.He say It could take up to 3 hrs.to clean the pipe that's why they charge so much. So if they clean it in 20 min that's ok???. Last Plummer was here 1 hr cleaned the pipe for $150. Fair price. read more
