Boo.), so I wanted to send them a bouquet of local flowers to remind them that I wish I could be there and that I was thinking of them. I shopped around for florists online, and found Maui Blooms' prices to be, by far, the most reasonable. I placed an order for a $50 arrangement, and, given my previous experiences with florists, I expected that that price may get me one or two flowers and some shrubbery. A few hours after I placed my order, I called Maui Blooms, just to verify that everything was in order. The lady with whom I spoke could NOT have been sweeter or more pleasant. She wished me a Merry Christmas in Hawaiian, and laughed along with me when I replied, "Um...you too? I think? What does that mean?" She thanked me profusely for my order (in Hawaiian, of course. Loved it.), and said that they were about to close for the day, but if it was really important, she would be willing to send someone out with the delivery that day. How nice is that??? I assured her that the next day was just fine. She then told me that the personal message I had written to be included with the arrangement was a little long for the small note cards they usually attach to their flowers, so she was going to PERSONALLY TYPE IT UP AND PRINT IT OUT. What?!?! Really?!?! Maui Blooms really has this customer service thing down, and many other businesses could learn a lot from them. Small acts of kindness and accommodation are the things that motivate me to continually patronize a business for years. Anyhoo, when I got a picture of the arrangement from my boyfriend, I was beyond pleasantly surprised. It was huge and gorgeous, and much more than I expected for the money I paid (see picture). They included the printed note I had written the family, as well as one of their usual notecards inscribed, on my behalf, "Aloha, From Lindsay". So adorable. I don't live anywhere near Maui, but should I ever again have the occasion to purchase flowers there, I will march my happy ass straight to Maui Blooms. A big thank you to the staff at MB!!!

Less than a week prior to coming to Maui I thought to have 4 flower arrangements delivered to the condo. I used Yelp to find a few florists to get a quote and Maui Blooms was my second to call and after speaking with Sandy I was sold. Sandy was more than helpful and her and her designer came up with two gorgeous large arrangements and two gorgeous small to medium arrangements. Maui Blooms was also able to deliver into our condo before we arrived so it was so nice to walk into condo with such beautiful local flowers. A couple days before we arrived Maui Blooms also accommodated us with two beautiful leis and one Kukui Nut lei as well. The arrangements lasted the entire 7 days that we were there and decided to leave them for the housekeeping staff. Thank You Sandy and Maui Blooms for making our stay even more special.

Ordering the flower arrangement, scheduling the delivery, and paying for it via Fernhouse's website was easy, and I received the requested text message the next day when the order was fulfilled. When my friend sent me a pic of the flowers and thanked me for the gift, I became infuriated! The flower arrangement that was delivered BARELY resembled the photo of the arrangement I ordered. I am well aware that some flowers and fillers are seasonal and, at times, might not be available. But, I would expect a florist to remove the item from the website and/or contact the buyer when the greater majority of the flowers needed are unavailable. Among the differences: The sales pic shows 2 Birds of Paradise; my order contained 1. The sales pic shows beautiful red/orange roses and similarly warm-colored filler flowers (that are orchid-like); my order contained yellow pompoms and zinnia. The vibe is completely different. The flowers that were used are, in my opinion, of a lower caliber than what I was sold. Additionally, the arrangement that was delivered was by no means as full/rich as the specimen in the sales pic. Bottom line: what I paid for is very different from what was delivered, and (to me) this borders on "bait & switch." Additionally, had the arrangement that was delivered been shown on their website, I would NOT have considered paying $95 for it; mind you...that's $95 before tax, tip and delivery.

Did not expect to see long stems at all as we wanted it low. I even gave approx dimensions. This was months before the wedding. We had also agreed on delivery an hour before the event to the Ritz Carlton. I have to say I was very disappointed. I got TALL arched flowers (20-24 inches tall), lots of stems showing in very small disposable florist planters and not really the colors we discussed. Flower were not on the table until 15 min before the event (I had to call 2x). I was very, very disappointed. I did text the owner to let her know and was basically gaslighted......What's interesting is the venue wanted me to use their florist, but I insisted on Sunyas b/c I was so confident we had really agreed on everything. I don't think doing all their business through texting is the best idea. I have a feeling that who ever actually did the flowers for us had not seen the photos we exchanged or been given much detail.
