1 star is way too much. Hired this company for a deep clean and carpet cleaning. I was quoted $450 and waited a week for them to come. I was asked to declutter any surfaces. Sure no problem. My house is pretty maintained. Upon arrival, the lady, which is the owners wife, looked around the house rooms and bathrooms. Angrily she said she is not cleaning the blinds, even though I had requested this prior to hiring them. I said fine. Then she said she was not going to clean the air vents since she'll have to get them removed. I said no problem, I'll remove them. Then she stormed out got in her car and left. So strange. I had my house DEEP cleaned, and all tile/grout steam cleaned as well as spot cleaning the carpet in the master bedroom. The ladies who came to deep clean were nothing short of efficient, kind, took their work seriously, wonderful customer service, did an AMAZING JOB and were incredibly friendly. I have hired about three other "cleaning services" since moving to Yucca valley. This company BY FAR SURPASSED ALL OF THEM. I am quite hard to please when it comes to a deep cleaning, or a general standard cleaning. I am a bit ocd and (ask my husband) a total neat/clean freak. Everything I usually expect or ask prior to the initial deep clean is mainly "do you do baseboards?" they always says "of course!" but never do! Well Plus 1 Carpet is true to their word. I got an incredible estimate from Sergio over the phone, he was polite, professional and walked me thru what they would be doing. All other cleaning companies have been here maybe a hour and a half at the most. These ladies spent nearly FIVE hours here. They did a walk thru with me at the end. (which no service has ever bothered to do) and man, was i impressed!! The baseboards were shiny, the blinds even were glowing! Then Sergio came and did all my tile and spot cleaned my carpet. I have NEVER SEEN MY TILE AND GROUT SO SPARKLING CLEAN!!!! the rates are almost TOO REASONABLE! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for an efficient job done! Sergio is fantastic! He was direct and honest when I requested a quote, and continued to be throughout the process. He didn't try to up sell services for additional fees and was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the exact services I would need. I have a tile and grout floor that I thought needed a massive cleaning. Instead of trying to sell me a more than I needed, he explained the basics of what I would need to make the floor look new again and he absolutely delivered. My floor looks amazing and he was less than half the price of my other quotes. He arrived on time, was in constant communication with me throughout the process (even during booking and confirmation) and left the house in perfect condition. I even had him clean our sofas (for an additional charge) which came out so well I had forgotten what color they really were! I contacted Sergio about cleaning my carpet which included 7 rooms and 1 staircase and immediately got a response. He was able to fit me in the next day and confirmed the appointment with me. He gave me an estimate of the time he would be arriving and arrived accordingly. Upon meeting each other he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about my carpet and the services being rendered. He reassured me that my carpet would be taken care of despite of the dog odor smell that had penetrated my carpet. Upon looking at the carpet he mentioned that my grout had build up and was due for a cleaning due to the dark brown color. He referenced the color to the color of the grout that was underneath a rug and it was apparent it needed to be cleaned. He was able to clean my grout and carpet with efficiency and timeliness. I felt extremely comfortable the entire time and the price matched the quote that was given. Definitely reasonable pricing. My carpet no longer smells like dog and it feels extremely clean. My experience with the owner, Sergio of Plus 1 Carpet Care began shortly after posting my huge carpet and tile cleaning project (5 rooms, stairs, huge hallway carpet and 800+ sq. ft. of dirty tile). Sergio responded immediately; he outbid the other quotes too. My friends warned me "cheaper is not better"..."you get what you pay for"... blah, blah, blah. Well, we booked a date, I reconfirmed the price and task at hand and we were all set for Wednesday. Wednesday, we got the first rain... Sergio still showed up on time, saw the project for the first time, admitted it would be a challenge, but he could handle it. As he went back to his truck, it began to pour. Long story short, the project had to rescheduled til Saturday. I was skeptical at first that maybe Sergio felt that the job was misrepresented or underbidded, so I gave him an out. He was committed to doing a great job at the agreed price. Needless to say, my tile looks like its been regrouted (thank you, Matthew for putting your muscles into it) and the carpet is tan again. I now have clean flooring for the holidays and I'm thrilled. Sergio and Matthew will definitely get my repeat business and referrals to my friends. On a personal note, I appreciated Sergio's honesty and integrity during this project and I respect the hard work of this father/son team.
