I corresponded with this business because I'm looking to get the carpets in my boat shampooed. I got a response somewhat quickly from Sergio. He told me to give him a call so he could go over packages or deals, etc. I called him, he asked for pictures of my boat in the area I want cleaned which I sent to him. We spoke on the phone and arranged a time and date for him to come and do give me a more clear estimate and possibly do the work. When that time/date rolled around a few days later, I got a no call/ no show. Here it is just days before Christmas, we are still unpacking in our new home, and I realize our couches need a good clean. I put out some feelers in the Yelp world looking for quotes from an upholstery cleaner, and got a fast response from Sergio at Plus 1 Carpet Care. I told him I needed an appointment ASAP, and he got me in the next day. He took our sectional that has been sitting in storage since May, and gave it a full cleaning, deodorizer and soil guard. He and his partner cleaned everything up after they were finished, and did a fantastic job. I can't say enough about Sergio and the job he did for us. We got a call from our renter that the washing machine had seriously overflowed and flooded a few rooms in the house (as bad as it sounds). I had no idea who to call so looked up companies on here and Plus 1 had good reviews in my area so I tried it. I was not near the house but he listened to our renters on the situation and loaded up some dryers and headed out there. On getting there, he saw it was a mess but went to work - finished getting it dried out, had to pull up some flooring and baseboards but stopped things getting worse. Did treatments and left the dryers there to dry it out. Then he went to work on helping us get everything fixed. Helped find the flooring (something close because we didn't know what was really used), had some good guys to work with and did a great job replacing everything. Sergio communicated very well and stayed on top of things. He knew our timeline and got things done quickly for us. I can't recommend him enough and will reach out again (hopefully not for such a bit crisis). read more

Terrible service. Bad communication, they did a terrible job doing our grout clean and tile seal. He mentioned multiple times the grout and tile would get lighter within 24 hours. That never happened. It looks the same as when they started. The seal he claimed to have put down is flaking off everywhere in the house. There's blotches everywhere and it makes the tile look worse then before being clean. I don't make bad reviews for people. I always give the benefit of the doubt however he has failed to respond to my text messages about the seal flaking and the tile not becoming lighter within 24 hours. It's been a complete waste of money. Please do not agree to use this guy, he doesn't care. I sent him before pictures on how I would like it to look and he reassured us it would look nice . ***BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PROVIDER*** I selected SERGIO from a list of other providers because I needed someone to take my large area rugs and clean them offsite at a facility (they are wool). The process started out great. He came by to pick up my rugs and asked that I give him a 50% deposit. I paid him $444 on 10/31/2023 via credit card. He committed to getting my rugs BEFORE Christmas. Here's where it went BAD: * I didn't hear from him since 10/31/2023 and figured that he was busy and would get back to me. * On 12/13 - I texted him to my rugs back and he said he is still working on them and will get back to me by the weekend. I didn't hear back from him. * On 12/17 - I texted him again and he said he was in Barstow and couldn't get to me and said he will be finished by end of day. I didn't hear back from him. * On 12/18 - I texted him again, and he messaged me that he was not available for some personal reasons. * On 12/19 - I texted him again and asked when I can get my rugs back. He He replied that he is still out and that he will get someone to deliver them back to me in two days. * On 12/20 - I texted him asking when his associate was going to come over to deliver the rugs. He went radio silent and did not respond back to any of my texts on 12/21, 12/26. * On 12/27 - I texted him that I can come out to his shop and pick them up. He mentioned that he was still out and then went radio silent since. * On 1/4 and 1/17 - I texted him to see what was up with my rugs with no response. I really appreciated how quickly they responded and arranged a service. The carpets I wanted to have cleaned had never been cleaned and they did a thorough job, cleaned a decorative rug that was on top of the living room carpet, moved heavy furniture we couldn't move, placed items up on little blocks to keep the furniture from making a stain on the damp carpet and were very pleasant to work with. I reached out to Plus 1 Carpet Care for a quote to clean the living room, 2 bedrooms and a hallway of my sister's home while I'm in town visiting. Sergio responded right away to discuss my needs. I was given a quote and he asked how soon did I need it cleaned, advised ASAP. He was close by and said he could do the work same day. He arrived about 20 min after our initial call and assessed the areas of cleaning. I advised it is quite dirty so do the best you can. He agreed the carpet was heavily soiled and he would do his best. I must say, considering the condition of the carpet, I am very pleased with the results so far. Would I recommend his services? We schedule the cleaning with them today at 11am, they quoted us 4 ppl will be cleaning the house for us for $850. The schedule cleaning should start at 11am. Which was Confirmed a day before. At 11 :20am cleaning lady showed up, at 12:00am other 3 people still didn't show up. We called to ask, he said two ppl called in sick and he won't able to arrive for a couple of hours. At this point. I do not trust them will provide the service that we have been quoted for. And I doubt for their professionalism. So we have to cancel it, instead of wasting one more day. Gotta admit, at first I was a bit hesitant because I've never heard of specialized grout cleaning during a deep clean. But holy moly did it make a difference! Sergio came first to take care of the grout and steamed the carpet. It was spotless. He informed me Crystal will be coming by to complete the deep cleaning and I casually said okay. The last cleaning company (who shall not be named) just came in, did a half ass job, left streaks/stains on everything, took my money and ran. I was a little nervous but she had us do a walk through of the house and pointed out all the nitty gritty, very specific areas they'd get to, including door frames, light fixtures, dust behind the toilet seats, on top of window frames, in pretty much all the nooks and crannies I would have never thought of. 5+ hours later, we're wrapping up and I'm blown away at how clean the house is. Never did I think we'd see this shade of white along the window sills, sparkle on these old cabinets or remove the crazy stain that even barskeeper couldn't remove! Will definitely be reaching out to them in between tenants from now on. Communication was seamless, Sergio was responsive through text and always called with updates throughout the process. Everyone we worked with was friendly & responsive for the most part. They also issued a partial refund which was appreciated. They did a decent job cleaning the grout in the bathrooms but that's about it. The pressure from the steamer knocked a tile out-the tile is old & worn so it was understandable. They placed the tile they broke on top of another one toward the back so it was Kindof camouflaged..grateful they didn't just toss it though because we were able to repair it pretty easily. The rest of the house didn't seem very clean at all. The floor and counters were still dirty. We paid for a deep clean/move in/out cleaning. $650 I believe. We were refunded $250. It was a bummer because we had to have the house cleaned the for following day so I had to stay up all night & reclean everything. (Which is why we wanted a refund as opposed to having them come back & do what they were supposed to do in the first place. We needed it for the following day & the next week would have been too late). Almost gave them two stars but they weren't honest about breaking our tile in their response to my review. He definitely preferred to talk over the phone. I assume to not have things in writing but also probably because he seemed to be driving. Honesty is huge. You want to be able to trust who comes into your home. Accountability is also important. I wish them luck but I wouldn't hire them again or recommend them. read more

I had my floor tile cleaned on 5/5 by Sergio and it was terrible service from the time he arrived. During pre-soaking the floors I noticed he was walking on my carpet with bare shoes so I laid down a towel.. not even 10 minutes in....his water pump broke and squirted dirty water all down the hallway and entry way. Did not get all of the dirt off of the walls. Took 30 minutes for him to fix his pump. After the cleaning I did a walk thru and found several spots that I had to point out for him to wipe down the walls. After he left I noticed a huge stain in my driveway and my living room wall now had ripples in it and was wet. I contacted Sergio immediately and he assured me that he would come and fix it. I sent pictures and videos so he could see the damage. After several calls and text messages.......Today is 6/26 and I have not heard from Sergio and disappointed in his customer service and lack of attention to details.
