Sent out a query through Yelp. One of the quickest to respond but also had availability on a day that worked for me and the price sounded right; $130 for a large thick rug and two hallway carpets. I made sure to vacuum them and then when Michael arrived, he explained the process: how the hallway carpet may get a little warped but returns to flat in a couple of weeks. He was polite and reiterated the cost before I signed paperwork and he got to work. Work took less than an hour and carpets turned out great. No longer dingy and the warping for the hallway ones wasn't extreme, but it was temporary, like he noted. Left them to dry for 24 hours, although 12hrs was only recommended. Payment is completed after. They take credit card, zelle, or cash. Afterward, I did notice there were boot foot prints between where the carpets were and the front door. I planned to sweep and mop already but maybe they should wear booties in the future. read more

Called to get a Quote for carpet shampooing and tile cleaning. The lady that I talked to sounded very knowledgeable and asked many questions about size of house, areas / rooms needing cleaning, etc. I was given a quote that was more then other companies I talked to but the way this lady explained their services I thought they would do a great job. First problem, they were booked out almost 2 months. So I took the appointment and waited. Second problem, I got my house cleaned out and waited for tech to show up. When he showed up he started to use him laser to measure the house (areas of cleaning). When he finished he said "the price was going to be higher, much higher". He told me that the square footage that they quoted me before was almost double the area. He also explained that he probably wasnt going to be able to get out the pet stains in the carpet. I explained I told them the Square footage of my house and how many rooms and areas and that's how they gave me the price. The lady on the phone said they have ways of getting pet stains out. If your going to give a price over the phone stick to it. At very least send a tech to measure and quote in person and not make me wait 2 months to find out it's out of my budget. Double the price quoted is ridiculous. DONT TAKE QUOTE FROM THIS COMPANY OVER THE PHONE. THEY WILL RAISE PRICE WHEN THEY SHOW UP. read more

We had a great experience with our service technician however, the pet treatment area of the carpet service did not take care of the problem. The room still had an ammonia smell well after it had dried. I suspect because our technician was not able to refill his container with the pet treatment chemical and had to work with what he had. Our tech said that if we were not satisfied with anything to call back and it would be taken care of. Service was originally on a Friday. I reached out and left messages Sunday and Monday. I received a call back by the end of the 2nd day and they will be sending someone out later this week to resolve the problem. Update: They sent someone out to resolve the ammonia smell which I think says a lot about a business because they did not have to do that. read more

I talked to Kennedy about cleaning an antique couch and chair that hadn't been cleaned probably in decades. She said that it would be a wet process and that water and a special soap that they use would be used. I wasn't sure if the delicate embroidery would stand up to the process. Michael Alcaraz came out and said that he would first test the cleaning on one section. It seemed to stand up to the cleaning so he did all the couch and chair. He was very thorough in the process. The couch and chair both looks great and there is an ocean of difference after he was done. Michael was friendly, smiling and very professional. We recently hired Gregs Carpet Cleaning at the Pines Tavern on the Lake..imagine the foot traffic we get with that view...I have used them for my residence many times in the past years and was completely satisfied..They always brought old carpet with pet problems back to life..I felt the commercial carpet at the Pines could have looked better than it did after Greg's cleaned it. No problem...they were back the next week with stronger decreasing enzymes and stronger spot cleaner to make sure that we were satisfied with their customer service...After the initial cleaning carpet was obviously wet and I didn't see the end result till it was dry the next day.. I cannot vouch for their carpet cleaning services however, about 2 years ago my wife , kids and I were heading to big bear towing our trailer to go camping. Our truck made it half way up big bear on the switch backs, when out of no where our radiator hose blew. I pulled over on the side of the road, and opened the hood, and the engine bay was on fire. Luckily I was able to get water and put it out. My family and I sat on the mountain with no phone service trying to think what in the world are we going to do! Out of no where pulled up Greg's carpet cleaning truck. He asked if we needed help, me being stubborn said its ok i got it but thank you. He asked are you sure i might have some tools to help you out. I took up his offer thinking there is no way he can fix it the plastic going into the engine bay is sheared off. While he worked on it we got to talking about carpet cleaning and how his family has been doing it for a long time. Before i knew it he got the hose back onto the sheared piece, he put on his hose clamp and was able to clamp it down. I was super happy, i said ill get the water out of my camper and fill up my radiator. He told me to check the back of his truck and that he should have radiator fluid, he indeed had the exactly radiator fluid for my model truck! he had 3 bottles of it! I only took one and came back to my truck and he said no please take all 3 its ok. I felt really bad taking all his fluid, especially since he has already done so much for me already, but he insisted. He topped off my radiator and helped me burp the fluid back in. I only had 20$ cash in my wallet and i tried to give it to him, he said he wont take it and that he does it out of the kindness of his heart. If he is willing to go above and beyond for a random stranger, i can only imagine how much pride he takes on someone's home.
