It's a local business so I gave them a chance to fix the problem. The owner said he was able to fix it and said he had called the dealer and was able to replace the part. After 3 hrs I received a call saying the problem was fixed I can pick up the car and the total charge was $230 (make sure you get an estimate before any work I didn't) I walked to the shop paid the man and drove off. First problem noticed was that the turn signal was not resetting I had to do it manually. Of course I was not happy after paying $230 I called the owner who said to bring the car back and he'll fix the problem.....mmmm. This is why I paid in the first place....I took the car back and after several hrs the problem was finally fixed. Overall, I'll give the place 3 stars mostly for the friendly approach and the willingness to repair the car a second time. Make sure to get a receipt.

Tom is a good, honest, hard-working man and is very interested in providing good service for his customers. He often bends flexibly - in the favor of the customer - when it comes to how many hours of labor to charge if he ends up having to spend a lot of time on one single project. He is the absolute polar opposite of nickle-and-diming someone... if that were a verb, or a polar end. We moved to Humboldt Park away from this area of the city a little over a year ago, but we still bring our van to him and take CTA to go pick it up later, because we trust him and his work.

The only thing that needed changing was Brake Pads in a few months, but the car was still drivable. I do not know much about cars, he could have made up "issues" to fix and gain a customer, but instead he was honest and told me I could keep using the car. Honesty like that is extremely rare nowadays. These guys know what they are doing and I recommend using them.

This place is a scam. I have 3 stories as proof…read more 1. Took my car in for coolant leak. They checked it and said radiator leak. Price was stupid so I went elsewhere. I didn't realize when they checked the antifreeze reservoir they took off the hose needed to suck up antifreeze and didn't put it back. I felt they were intentionally trying to break my car down. 2. Took my car to replace brake pad and rotors. I took my own parts. When I got my parts back I noticed they didn't put the sensors which is standard. They acted dumb about it and fixed it. 3. Took my car for an oil change. They noticed the screw in the oil pan wasn't original. I told them don't worry I've had oil changes for 5 years and never had any problems. After the oil change my car is leaking more oil than usual. 4. My car had warranty for the repairs. However they charge differently when warranty is used. They said it would be cheaper for me to pay out of pocket instead of using the warranty. The other shop I went to charged me the same price with or without warranty. Shady af. My fault for going back just bc it's conveniently located down the block. But after all this bullshit I will never go back. Short dude at the front desk is rude af as well. I finally just went to dealer and after a day with 130 dollars they just cleaned and reset my throttle body and fixed my car. Still because of P and S I have ordered a useless sensor that's coming in the mail. I am a Lyft driver and these people took away my main source of income for weeks and didn't even bother a test drive. Not to mention made the car worse.
