For me years ago repairs were easy, I just gave him the keys. If we didn't it, he'd send it off to someone and it would get done. We weren't a body shop, nor a detail place, but we knew people. But that was some time ago. Those people are now retired or have passed on. So I'm left to my own resources, asking around and internet research (reviews.) I bought my SUV and there was a slight gap at the bumper after about a month, I did take it back and they just pushed it back. Never looked right. but it was okay. Well now this time I did it backing into a garage there was this wrought iron basket, not mine. My bumper caught it and it pulled away. It looked bad and couldn't be ignored. What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. I came across Carrectly, was impressed by the reviews, also was impressed by the pics of Dixon P's bumper repair. So I sent an email requesting a quote for the repair. Oliver replied fast with an accurate quote and information. He also answer all questions I had. I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! How much time is wasted on dropping off your vehicle? With them none, same for pick up. Yuri was so pleasant and helpful, I inquired about getting a detail, specifically the inside. It really needed it. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly. I'm proud to be seen with my vehicle again, instead of walking away quickly. You know how it is when you ride looks trashed. So glad I made this choice.

Up front about pricing, they put thought into giving you the most value. Never had a service tech apologize up front for the cost of a repair... a couple of years ago they basically replaced my entire suspension (Chicago streets....) and service tech suggested to reduce the cost to only replace the worst components right now and delay some less critical components for 6 months because they could last a little longer. I asked him to just replace everything right now. But again, when's the last time a tech put thought into balancing cost vs value for you? Can't recommend the entire team at that garage, enough.

My exhaust pipe fell off/was dragging behind my car a couple years ago, came in to Davila, they said they had to replace the whole thing because it was too rusted to weld back on so I paid for (what I thought was) a new one for $1k. I recently went to a new mechanic because I now have an exhaust leak with a cracked y pipe. They just called to say my entire exhaust is made of old pieces all patchworked together, which was never discussed with me at Davila. Now I'm dropping $500 to fix. Never coming back.
