Second they sell "premium" WiFi for streaming but, guess what, it doesn't work and the people who can reset it leave at 5:30, no one available after hours. We'll kill me I wanted to watch TV at night. The final straw was at 10 till nine when we wanted to get a quick dip in the pool and the activities director told us the pool was closed. Only when I counter to him that it's 10 till 9, we have 10 minutes (I had already checked and seen that the pool closes at nine ) did he say OK but then stood there watching us and waiting at the door for us to get out of the pool. No, I will never stay here again and do not recommend anybody else to do so.

The swimming pool in the back could use updating and was only 3 ft deep even though in the middle it said 4 ft. I knew it wasn't 4 ft because I am 5'6", and it came to my waist. It's not cold when you get in. There were chaise lounges available with small tables. The private beach area is small but very nice. There were paddle boards and kayaks available. People were swimming and sunbathing. Next door was Snook's restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there was a shortcut to it near the pool. Great food and ambiance at Snook's. Bayside does take good care of the rooms, and Shari was outstanding with her customer service.

The atmosphere felt chaotic with children running and screaming throughout the property, yet staff were quick to police adults - even interrupting us for quietly playing cards on our own balcony after 7pm. Water sports were another frustration: staff were unfriendly, offered no guidance, and only appeared to yell at guests for touching equipment without a waiver, rather than having someone present to assist when guests of any kind are on the beach. Nothing on the property is open past 7pm, and guests are pushed out of the hot tub before 9pm. Overall, the experience felt overly restrictive, poorly communicated, and not worth the cost. We will not return. I recommend if you are going to spend THAT much money on a property in the keys, book your stay literally anywhere else. Edith is the only member of the staff that's pleasant and worth talking to. Thank you for making this awful stay at least somewhat worth one star

Few people at the pools, almost no one at the beach, and even fewer at the bar. The bar doesn't serve hard liquor (since it doesn't have that kind of license), but it has a good selection of other drinks and some interesting mixes to get around the limitations -- like a sake piña colada. Only staying for a few days and looking for more quiet than adventure I did not take advantage of any water sports or other activities. The "beach" here is okay, but it is the Keys. I don't think you are coming here for world-class beach access.

Although not an emergency the front desk girl did not help and I have properties I have to monitor several cameras as well as I work from my phone. Jonathan did not answer, so about a half hour later I called again as it was around 830pm and I wanted to catch him before he went to bed as he lives on the property. He answered and proceeded to tell me Internet was down on the whole property, however the cottage next to me the cpl were sitting on their porch and I asked if they could connect to wifi and they said yes. You have to be able to connect to the guest not main wifi. I couldn't connect to guest. Jonathan proceeded to tell me I was not the one who made the reservation and could he " speak with my mother"! This was very offensive as the FIRST stay I paid over $1200 for 2 days and this stay I paid over $900! Why he was asking to speak with my mother I have no clue but he became very belligerent and rude! Claiming no one had wifi and if I wanted to leave tonight he'd refund me!!!! Leave at 9 pm with my family????? He then began to ask for my mother over and over. Instead of just saying that the wifi reception was very poor in my area and could he give me a partial refund .....he proceeded to speak to me very condescending and tell me I could go to the office and login to their wifi! I told him I would be to the office and expect a refund for the following day and would be leaving. In the morning when I went to the office Jonathan came walking up and I introduced myself and asked if he would like to see "MY ID"! He then proceeded to tell ME I was very rude and he did me a "favor" last stay because it was the only cottage left. Well, I booked it and I PAID $1200 so what exactly was the favor????? The moral to the story, get better service so people in the back can connect and do what they need to do with a good wifi connection! I'm not the only one that has made a review about poor wifi signal nor am I the only one that's made a review on Jonathans poor customer service!

It is definitely an old campground, but it is well maintained and loved by those who run it. We had a great time on the private beach and the best kayak through the mangroves. I appreciated the bubbler for keeping dangerous wildlife off the beach area. It's nice and quiet in the evenings and a safe place for kids to explore and have fun. The heated pool is sparkling clean and warm. We had a beautiful weeklong visit over spring break and can't wait to come back again!

Everyone in the pool felt the pool was way too hot. The front office refused to do anything about it. They could have contacted management for us as well. Management never replied. The beach is very dirty. The playground is equipped for under 3years of age. I definitely would go elsewhere.
