When we visit Islamorada we typically stay at one of the Postcard Resorts which we love but due to construction we were unable to book for over a month and just ended up booking a beach cabin here as it seemed similar to La Siesta. We ended up having the most fantastic time and it has been our favorite place we stayed at yet! We travel during the off season primarily because my husband is a CPA and we have to do it prior to tax season and also don't want to miss the holidays at home. We practically had the beach and pool to ourselves and it was so peaceful! Our cabin was a quick walk to the beach and the heated pool which was absolutely perfect for our toddler. They have kayaks, paddle boards, and gorgeous beach area to use. We also had a full size kitchen with refrigerator, oven, and a microwave. The staff even washes your dishes for you daily which I found to be one of the greatest luxuries of all! Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Thanks for an amazing vacation. We didn't want to leave!

So much potential and very much pretty grounds. For future bookers please be advised to request to know where the ac unit is in your room. Unit 12 had an ac unit directly above the bed. If you are noise sensitive this is not ideal. We even tried to move the bed but the unit does not have the space. The bathroom toilet is wedged between two walls you will touch tile. Please be aware of this place. Office does close at 8pm

After my last stay here, this resort really won my heart. I took my daughter here on our trip through The Keys for her 8th birthday. We booked one night in one of the adorable cottages, and ended up staying two! As far as my daughter is concerned, this place won her over in 2.2 seconds! She loved the woman who helped us during our stay, which means a lot in my book, and she adored our cottage. The pool was her second home while we were there. I loved the fact that we had a fully stocked kitchen! It is very helpful when you are traveling with a little one. The bed was pretty comfortable, though I have to say I wasn't a fan of the sheets. Very "scratchy" on our skin. Other than that though, we loved every inch of our cottage. We will definitely be staying again in the near future.

Exactly what I imagined plus more! Clean, cozy and quiet while right on the beach... Perfection! We'll be back!

Awesome!!! I live in Miami, and I'm always going to the Keys. But this resort it's probably the best I've been ever. The staff of the front desk and a woman who calls Ana, are so nice and hospitality. The pool food, it's really good!! I've order a capresse salad, and has the same taste like in Europe, where I was born. Tomorrow we will rent bikes, and maybe paddleboard in the front desk. So you can do sports, or just chill in the pool. Magnifico!!

Great resort that is quaint and cozy! Views from the dock are amazing at sunrise and sunset, and beautiful views of ocean during the day. I enjoyed the landscaping as it's very tropical. Happy hour was a lot of fun and good selection of drinks to chose from. Jaimie was awesome! She checked us in and was our bartender. Stayed in cottage 23, very accommodating and cozy! Highly recommend staying here

Five star if I've ever seen one. I can't help to read through others' obnoxious justifications for rating this property anything less, but I'd venture to say it stems from their own lack of organization and adherence to the rules. We are wrapping up our honeymoon week here, and I must say, being here has been one of the highlights. We were offered a complimentary upgrade, which is a pretty darn good start to things. Beyond that, the access to a tropical wonderland is what is delivered, and it far exceeded what I was even expecting. Every inch of this place is pristine, from the buildings , to the pool, to the raked sand, and the interior of the rooms are actually better than what is represented by some of the photos on Yelp. For the price, this was an absolute home-run, and being that we now live mere hours from here, I guarantee you we'll be back. I'm going back to sunbathing for now, but I'll provide an image from my current visual inspiration.

Great relaxing experience. Have stayed a couple of times in the last month or two and really enjoy the renovation of the property.

However, we felt that the property is quite highly priced for what it offers. Unfortunately, our comfort was affected by a few issues in the room--the bed made noticeable noise even with slight movement, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the air conditioner was quite loud, adding to the disturbance. Overall, while the cleanliness and easy check-in were definite positives, the noise issues and pricing did not quite match our expectations.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the room looked like it was recently remodeled. The bed had a European style bottom on it where I kept hitting my ankle and toes. The mattress was kind of soft, but the pillows were really nice and comfortable. The bathroom looked rather old, and the shower itself didn't have a door on it. So you risk getting water onto the bathroom on the floor when you're just taking a normal shower. I liked the rear room door which led to the pool area. The pool was a saltwater type and very inviting. This was a major plus for this Inn. Get the towels from the front office and pick a nice spot around the pool. This area really was well done Shopping is a breeze with the Publix grocery store just one mile south. Many great choices for restaurants are all within 2 miles. There are no places to cook inside the unit, but there is a microwave outback in case you wanna warm something. A small refrigerator is provided along with a coffee maker and Keurig coffee pods. Try not to book a room facing the street, as it gets rather noisy at night. Also, foot traffic during was rather loud up until midnight. There is a great value in staying here as the price for rooms are very reasonable. I think I paid $136 for the night. The two women at check-in were very polite and attentive to my needs. Questions were answered, I think I would stay here again if I didn't have a room up against the highway. Be sure to inquire first.

After 3 days my wife had to threaten the front desk staff with using towels to wipe her ass if the maids didn't restock the toilet paper in our room. Totally unacceptable for a resort. They kept assuring us the rooms service maids were coming in daily, but they never did until she threatened to come down and make a scene. The staff seemed unmotivated to complete even the basic cleaning tasks. We only asked for two coffee k cups, clean towels and the two room garbage cans to be emptied on a daily basis. That was just too demanding and the staff tried to mean-mug us when we came and went but finally got it done for the final two days of our visit. I'd advise you visit another property because the service is nonexistent and a total disappointment. Their on site restaurant was a joke as well. Completely overpriced and out of touch given the location. Every other restaurant we visited in the area was excellent, but theirs was almost always empty. The menu was way overpriced and there were countless local options that were much better and less expensive. Nearly all the staff on site see to be unwilling to provide service to customers and displaying a shitty attitude overall. Leadership changes need to take place or this property will crumble. Good location, just bad service with inadequate leadership supervision.

As Hilton Gold members, we were fortunate to receive a small room upgrade at booking, which we definitely appreciated. Let me start with the highlights the resort amenities are wonderful, especially for families. There were plenty of complimentary activities for kids during the day, and even fun nighttime events like dancing that were adorable and well thought out. It truly felt family-friendly, and there was always something going on to keep everyone entertained. The cutest was Santa pics with cookies and milk! The staff was attentive and kind throughout our stay, and honestly, that goes a long way. Great service can elevate an entire experience, and they really delivered on that front. That said, at nearly $1,000 per night during peak season, I did expect the facilities and rooms to be in better condition. The property has so much potential, but parts of it felt a bit rundown for the price point. The rooms could use some attention and deeper cleaning. I completely understand that this is a beachfront resort and sand is inevitable however we noticed quite a bit of sand throughout the room, even on the bed when it had been freshly made. I've stayed at other beach resorts where housekeeping was a bit more thorough in that regard. However nothing crazy but cleanliness is big in my book. One morning, there was also a cockroach at the coffee cart. My husband reported it right away to the front desk. The next few mornings the cart wasn't out, and I'm assuming they were addressing the situation, which I appreciate but it was still a bit off-putting. The on-site restaurants were good not extraordinary, but enjoyable and I felt the pricing there was fair considering it's a resort property. Overall, we had a great experience. The resort has incredible potential, and with a little more attention to upkeep especially considering the premium nightly rate it could easily be a five-star stay. The friendly staff and activities made a big difference.

And don't forget the tax man as he is expensive as well. We had coffee from the coffee truck in the lobby and for a regular coffee and a latte it was $21 with the fees. 2 drinks at the pool was $42 with the fees and 2 apps from the bar last night was $50 with a $5 tip. Total rip off for what you get. We have stayed at Hiltons in 16 countries including the Grand Wailea Maui and have never seen these types of numbers. 10+ years as a Diamond with Hilton and this is a shameful experience. It would be different if the rooms made up for it but they are no better than a redone drive up motel as it is noisy all night long with halls open to the parking lot.

This resort did not live up to its "exclusive" reputation. The property is entirely non-smoking,…read morewhich was not clearly disclosed at check-in, and there is no designated smoking area at all. The tiki bar does not have a liquor license ( margarita was made with wine), and the food was subpar for the price point (delivered to you in to go containers only with plastic forks). The atmosphere felt chaotic with children running and screaming throughout the property, yet staff were quick to police adults - even interrupting us for quietly playing cards on our own balcony after 7pm. Water sports were another frustration: staff were unfriendly, offered no guidance, and only appeared to yell at guests for touching equipment without a waiver, rather than having someone present to assist when guests of any kind are on the beach. Nothing on the property is open past 7pm, and guests are pushed out of the hot tub before 9pm. Overall, the experience felt overly restrictive, poorly communicated, and not worth the cost. We will not return. I recommend if you are going to spend THAT much money on a property in the keys, book your stay literally anywhere else. This is especially true for this place as its entrance isn't even on the highway. Coming through the gates you enter your own special quiet world. I had the pleasure of staying in one of the villas and outside of the stairs just to get off the ground floor, and never mind to your bedroom, the place was gorgeous. (Yes, I know this is Florida, it is the coast, and you don't want to have living space on the ground floors) Otherwise, everything was quiet in November. Few people at the pools, almost no one at the beach, and even fewer at the bar. The bar doesn't serve hard liquor (since it doesn't have that kind of license), but it has a good selection of other drinks and some interesting mixes to get around the limitations -- like a sake piña colada. Only staying for a few days and looking for more quiet than adventure I did not take advantage of any water sports or other activities. The "beach" here is okay, but it is the Keys. I don't think you are coming here for world-class beach access.
