Have called twice a day for an entire week and could only leave a message. Left a message every time and did not receive one call back. If this is a collections agency, shouldn't there be someone to answer the calls to Collect Funds????? The worst part is that supposedly this is a bill from 2022 from the DOL and I have not ONCE been notified about and is NOT reported on my credit report. Such a horrible company. I had some outstanding balance with Seattle utilities because I had moved out of my residence. They engaged a collection agency (this one) to clear that off. I cleared the balance directly with Seattle utilities as soon as I realized that my account was handed off to a collection agency without first trying to reach me. My balance is paid but I kept getting calls from this company. I thought this was scam so I stopped picking up until I googled just now. I called them back and explained that I have paid my balance and this weird dude on the line kept repeating "do you have proof?" The eff! Danielle was great. Helped find the information needed to resolve the problem. If she had been the first person I talked with I would give a 5 star rating. The first person was a very unpleasant gentleman who really didn't want to try to find the information. He muttered while he was "looking", complained about how long it take to search without all the information and eventually said he would ask his manager then said his manager would call me back. This has to be one of the most unprofessional companies in existence. They call demanding money. Refuse to tell you anything about the company other than you owe them money. And lose their temper and hang up on you when you question giving out financial information over the phone. Only to call you back repeatedly leaving harassing messages on your VM. When I was finally able to speak to someone who wasn't a completely rude. The balance owed was suddenly higher and a $10 fee was added at random. They have been calling me daily. My google assistant answers and they will only leave the number, telling me to call back. When I finally did to see why they call all the time, I asked the person why they are calling. They kept asking for my details. I said I would not answer any questions until they told me who they were and why they were calling. They hung up on me. This is clearly sketchy and a set up for a scam. Nastiest folks I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in King County. Started receiving DAILY phone calls and messages from them due to a Seattle City Light bill that 1) had been paid in full and closed six months ago and 2) actually had a CREDIT on it, i.e. City Light owed ME money. I understand folks at PMT Solutions only have so much to go on, but they not only had zero clue what I was attempting to explain to them, they were dismissive, combative, flippant jerks about it. When I asked they stop calling me I was essentially THREATENED when the agent said "Ok no more calls but that does not mean it's settled." Excuse me? I've never paid a City Light bill late, so I shudder to think how they treat people who, for whatever reason, actually do owe money. This place is rude and uncooperative. They call you and place you on an immediate hold. When someone finally answers they want your phone number. This isn't my debt. They are calling a company line. They call 3 times a day. I try to tell them I have multiple phone numbers ringing at a single phone and I don't know what number they called me on. The last guy got really snippy with me and said that he can't help me if I don't help him. I tried to explain that I don't know which number they called and I get hung up on in mid sentence! Kept receiving phone calls from the same number (425-882-4800) but they never left a voicemail about what they were calling about. Finally, I got sick of it and looked up the phone number online and realized it was for PMT Solutions- a collections agency. I don't have any outstanding bills so I called back to see why they were calling me so many times. The representative I spoke to was very nice, however she told me that I had an unpaid traffic violation from 2013 that she was calling to collect for. I asked for the phone number to contact the courthouse to confirm, since I hadn't received anything in the mail in regards to this and was pretty sure it was paid a long time ago, and after a brief moment she said "Oh you're right, it looks like this was paid in full. Our mistake. You don't need to do anything more on your end, have a nice day." I decided to call the courthouse to confirm afterwards and the representative at the courthouse told me the ticket has been paid and closed for years and that nothing was sent to collections. Called to get a ticket put on payments. They constantly reminded me about their affiliations with the court system and kept saying the multiple debts I had would all be combined and I would have to pay them that way but all I wanted to do was apply my little bit of money to the two tickets keeping my license suspended.
