I needed to wire money, and it wasn't working on the app, so I drove to this branch, which was my…read moreclosest one. I was greeted at the door by -- I don't know what you'd call her, but basically, a greeter -- which was great, and a nice unexpected touch in 2023. I told her why I was there, and she offered me a seat in the waiting room and said someone would be with me shortly. So far so good. But then it took a weird turn. She (the greeter) started asking me questions about the wire transfer, ostensibly to make sure I was sure I was sending it to a legit business. One or two questions along this line are absolutely fine, and I understand the caution. But she kept asking them. What was the money for? (It was for a golf cart.) Had I actually seen it? Where was I going to drive it? What was I going to use it for? And so on. Eventually, belatedly, I stopped answering and was probably somewhat rude with her. I asked if she was just making conversation, or if the bank really needed answers to all those (increasingly intrusive) questions. She got defensive and said the bank did need those answers. Fortunately, by that point I was able to go in and see the banker who was great and who helped me wire the money without giving me the third degree. But that greeter was seriously weird.

Sat there for over 5 minutes before even being acknowledged despite there being 3 tellers and only one other customer. With over 15 minutes before they closed they said that wasn't enough time to open an account and refused to do their job. After my own experience and reading how all other reviews are also 1 star it's clear they don't care about their customers. Do yourself a favor and just go to one of the other half dozen banks in the area.
