I closed my checking and savings accounts sometime ago and opted for PNC where I always get answers to my questions and am remembered in the two branches I frequent. Today, I ended the affair with TD by closing out my safe deposit box. First, I waited close to 30 minutes to be seen by someone. Then it took another 45 minutes. There was a minor dispute over a second key and I was charged $25 for turning in only one key. When asked if I would be reimbursed if I turned in the second key they allegedly gave me when I opened the box, the girl waiting on me who was probably not old enough to drink, replied she didn't know and it would be up to management and I'd have to deal with it IF I ever returned the second key. Prior to closing my accounts, I waited upward of 10 days for payroll checks to clear into my account. Service was always snotty at best. That place blows. Way to go with killing the Commerce reputation and fond memories I have of quick service and friendly staff.

Their on-line service malfunctioned. If you tried to call for service you either sat on hold for over twenty minutes or requested a call back that did not happen. I also went to the local branch to get a resolution but the desk jockey insinuated there was no on-line issues, but he could not reach their service center either due to an admitted twenty minute hold time. My boyfriend has a credit card and debit card through PNC. He noticed fraud on his credit card last…read moreweekend and called PNC. they froze his checking account until he received his credit card in the mail (never heard of a checking account being frozen bc of credit card fraud). its been a week and he still hasnt received his credit card in the mail. On friday the freeze was lifted from his checking account, only to receive a fraud notice for now his debit card that same day. He worked 7 am until 9 pm and has been at work all morning, so his mom who is on his account went to pick up a new debit card and she was told it has to be him. He cant make it there with their hours because he is at work. If it is sent in the mail it will take another week or two. PNC has had his account frozen for a week and offers no help or support. lesson learned to not have all your money in PNC, because if something like this happens you are completely stuck.

My company makes their deposits at this location daily. Several times a week we are told our…read moredeposit is incorrect. We drive around the building and give the excact same deposit back to them, and suddenly its the right amount. Today, we made the deposit, and the same woman that always tells us its wrong, made my coworker cry, telling her that we need to learn how to count, and to stop holding up the line. I called the location to speak to a manager or customer service, they gave me the woman in question, she started to raise her voice with me and refused to give me the manager. I told her i will call back when the manager is back, and will not speak with her further. I believe her name is mary, but i am not positive. I am starting to believe she tells people this in hopes of them adding the amount she claims is missing, to pocket it. That or she is just starting to slip mentally and is consistently making errors in counting the amount.
