We called our builder and friends at Joe Gates Construction and asked for a recommendation. Judy said call Jerry's. We got on their calendar and we're amazed at how professional everyone was from scheduling to follow up to reminders. And, they arrived on the day scheduled at the time scheduled. While this should not be extraordinary for a service contractor it is. The work was done and they were careful around the furniture and fixtures, they were very thorough. We had them clean the dryer vent too which should reduce drying times and energy costs in addition to reducing the fire hazard of lint buildup! We highly recommend Jerry's and we highly recommend cleaning your ductwork.

I'm assuming that it was an auto response about the service and the power of the vacuum being able to suck your shirt off. However, when I asked a few follow-up questions about if they use any form of mechanical disruption to loosen the caked on dust, if they check airways with video monitoring, and if they are National Air Duct Cleaners Association certified I've heard absolutely nothing back from them. The customer rep Morgan is awesome / responsive, the crew was super nice (Andrew and Clayton) and the owner replied timely to questions / concerns as well. The a roughly 3000 sq home - 2 story, the project probably took the team 1.5 hours to complete. I surveyed the site afterwards and it was in good shape - not a whole lot of leftover debris from the roof. The crew used a water hose for the moss / gutter clean and afterwards applied a liquid solution to prevent moss - I was told the solution should be applied every 6 months (water hose and not pressure wash as pressure wash is too much for the roof). A brush wasn't used like some of the other gutter cleaning companies. The next day - when the sun was out I walked across the street to get a clear view of certain sections of my roof. I noticed "green" / moss still on a certain area so I took pictures and sent them to Jordan. He replied and said that he would have the team come back out and take care of it. Overall - Issaquah gutter has great customer service. Giving them a four star because we had to have the crew come out after the project to get the remainder of the moss on the roof. If it was all completed on day 1 I would have given them 5 stars. I engaged with a few other companies up front and went with Issaquah because they were most responsive and professional.

He went above and beyond to service our vents (even with some surprise obstacles - and perhaps some lapses in training). Since this particular service is new for this company (which we didn't know when scheduling), there are still some "kinks" being worked out. First, our tech was not provided access to information we shared with Customer Service in our scheduling process (i.e. our tech didn't know he was serving a home with ceiling vents, and thus, didn't bring a ladder or proper tools AND we were told by Customer Service that he would service the furnace, which he wasn't trained to do). Also, the company doesn't currently vacuum/wipe down affected surfaces after a duct cleaning service, so customers are left with a mess to clean-up. Growth opportunities acknowledged, overall, we enjoyed our experience with this company and can't say enough good things about Justin as a person. He was really such a joy. Pro Tip: Ensure you confirm your service needs directly to the tech before they arrive at your home, so they are adequately prepared.

By the time we finally broke ground and got the framing done, it was October. Unfortunately, the roofers took an entire month to finish putting the roof on, and by that time, the whole house was sopping wet. Add another month for the siders to finish, and even our builder was commenting on how bad the mold smell was. It was growing EVERYWHERE! This was exactly the circumstance we were trying to avoid, as my husband suffers from mold toxin illness. We called Servpro to see what could be done, and they came up with a plan that I am happy to say worked beautifully. They fogged the entire house and crawlspace heavily to eradicate the mold, and put as many dehumidifiers and fans in as our limited electricity would allow. They even came back out to spray a section in our labyrinth of a crawlspace where the fogging couldn't reach. They had some difficult circumstances to navigate, but they always figured out a way to get the job done, and to do it well. We are beyond thankful that they were able to save our house from the mold. They helped us navigate a nightmare situation and afforded us the peace of mind that our new home won't make anyone sick.

Sunset Air I would avoid at all costs especially if you live on Anderson Island. I have only once…read morebefore done a negative review on any company but this time I feel compelled to do so. First of all they have to take a ferry to our island which is inconvenient for most businesses from off the island we understand that. The issue stems from their charges they use to come to the island. They charge a flat rate of $250.00 to come here for every customer they have that day they will only come over when they 2 or more appointments. The standard going rate from every other contractor is the cost of the ticket which is $33.00 or up to $75.00 per customer. We had them come and service our 5 year old mini-split it wasn't cooling back in mid September of 2025. We are snow birds and left the island the week after they were here to go to AZ for the winter. We came back on Memorial Day 2026 when about 3 weeks later we tried to use the AC but it still wasn't working. We called Sunset Air back to have fix what they hadn't fixed before. Their charge for the repair in September was $1,219.00. When we called them back they said it would be another $250.00 for the ferry ride plus a $250.00 service charge just to look at it! The repairman was average at best the 1st time he didn't even put it back together with all the screws I had to do it myself. I'm embarrassed to say we've never had the fireplace serviced in the 25 years we've been in our home. I didn't realize it was something that should be done. Now I know! I moved the logs around to vacuum it out and could not figure out how to put the logs back properly in place. I called Perfect Temp and spoke with Amber. She was very friendly and knowledgable and made an excellent first impression as a representative of the company. I called a different place in Olympia earlier in the same day and the rep was condescending and kind of a jerk. I called Perfect Temp on Monday, 1/13/25. They had a cancellation and were able to come the next morning. Xxxxx arrived a couple minutes early. He was friendly and wasn't bothered by our little dogs barking at him. He got right to it. We were astounded when he finished. The fireplace looks brand new and runs like a charm. Instead of dusty, loud, inefficient and not pretty; we now have an immaculately clean beautiful, quiet fireplace, with a really nice fire. We are impressed enough with this one visit, that we are going to sign up for annual maintenance for our fireplace, heating/cooling and whatever other services they offer.
