We closed on our new home and within a few days discovered some pretty bad water damage behind the laundry room wall. Dan answered the call and reviewed the damage within a week and got to work that weekend. We removed a lot of rotten wood and replaced pumping, put in new flooring, trimmed and painted the laundry room. I don't think anybody in their right mind likes getting stood up, which is exactly what you did. Had you just emailed me when you found out you couldn't make it, I would have happily rescheduled. The more you try to respond and weasel out of taking responsibility, the worse you sound. Yelp really let me down this time. I reached out to PNW Remodel to schedule a quote for a living room kitchen remodel. The first appointment was rescheduled, I actually forgot about the second one and wasn't home (I know, that was 100% my fault). After a couple more reschedules I finally got someone out for a quote on April 10. I was told that I'd get my quote in a couple of days. It's been over a month and I still don't have a project quote. I'm guessing based off of the other great reviews, they're very busy these days and simply don't need my business. It's disappointing. Dan from PNW Remodel came to my house today to fix a poorly insulated door. Long story short, he did the job well, on time, and within the proposed budget. He showed up in a nice work van, dressed professionally, had all the right tools for the job, and a *kind and positive attitude* - something many contractors lack. I sort of knew what was needed for the door to be insulated right, but his experience paid off in spades. I wouldn't have thought of doing it his way with my simple DIY experience, but his way is definitely the pro way. The floor is warmer now by the door and it's only been a few hours since he left.
