Exceeded expectations with the regular chicken Teriyaki. Both chicken and rice were moist and the salad was fancy lettuce not just iceberg. The dressing is creamer than most and it seems to have a little dill in it. The poke bowl has a lot going on, great flavors. Put a bit of soy sauce into it. Just some of the pack included, not the whole thing. Was a nice ad without drowning the dish. Poke is one of my favorites. Will be back for more of this. Would have liked a little more tuna but there was a lot of other things in this bowl.

Their spicy chicken with 4 stars is my go to! Big portions and great flavor. I like that their teriyaki sauce isn't too sweet like a lot of places. The only other dish I've had is their katsu chicken and that's also delicious!

Recently moved to the area and I'll admit I started coming here first off because of its vicinity to me but wow I have become a loyal customer for a lot more then that! Always speedy, very fair portion sizes, delicious food! I mean look at that poke bowl! It's beautiful and it is BIG, very proportionate (nothing worse then wanting POKE and it's all sides with a piece of sashimi sized tuna) not the case here! Tons of rice and lettuce underneath as well, she's a hefty gal trust me. Looking forward to my next bowl and trying a new entree!

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner since Teriyaki is one of my wife's favorite. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is small and clean. There is seating at the counter for those who like to watch their sushi being made. On the day of our dining experience, alcohol was not available; however, there was an alcohol (beer & wine only) liquor license application on the door. Orders are placed at the counter and delivered to the table or packaged to-go. We opted to dine-in and were also offered water. Nice touch since my wife's favorite Teriyaki joint doesn't offer water when we dine-in. For starters we ordered Pot Stickers (qty 10) for $4.95. Nice and crispy without being overly oily. Reasonable price too. My wife ordered the Chicken Teriyaki for $8.95: chicken thighs, white rice and house salad. She enjoyed her meal choice. I ordered the Chicken Breast Teriyaki for $9.95 + $1 up-charge for spicy. I ordered a 5* spiciness level and was very satisfied with the slow burn that I received. To our surprise, as we were ending our meal, the chef brought out a complimentary juicy orange that he had artfully crafted into art. Our table was not the only table to be presented with this fun food art either. The table next to us also enjoyed the chef's offerings. Overall, a fantastic Teriyaki joint that will soon serve beer and wine as well as providing additional services that make them stand out from other Teriyaki joints.

Seriously the BEST tofu teriyaki I've ever had!!!! I have gotten it to go twice and it has been so good both times. Will be returning!

Here's the quick version: Pro: -Portion of teriyaki was good (4/5) -Portion of rice was decent (3.5/5) -Salad on the side resulted in somewhat proper use of the teriyaki container Con: -Too many dry chicken pieces -Teriyaki sauce was one note: sugar -All of the proteins lacked flavor (chicken, spicy tuna, whatever fish was in the Philly roll) -Some of the rice was partially undercooked -Sushi was not worth it *Rice was not cooked properly *The amount of spicy tuna was small *Spicy tuna was not spicy *Philly roll was mostly all rice and cucumber *The ginger had a heavy scent of dish detergent and was inedible -Salad dressing lacked flavor Here's where I tell my story: So I left my parents' place and notice a growling in my tummy. I decided, "hey, there's some teriyaki places I haven't been to around here," and looked up a few on Yelp. I decided on PNW because of one picture someone posted of their take out order. I usually rate my teriyaki experience first on portion size, how well the rice was cooked, the tender/juiciness of the chicken, and then go from there with sauce and salad/dressing, and whatever else. I saw some bad reviews and still wanted to give PNW a try so I could judge for myself. So first thing first, the portion size was good. Notice the only empty space was for the sauce container. The salad was in its own box, and that usually means I'm getting more rice and/or chicken for my money. The sushi looked appetizing as well. I saw the wide Philly roll pieces and though, "this is going to be fun to eat." I take a few bites of chicken by itself then the rice, and notice right away that the chicken lacked any flavor and the rice had parts that weren't thoroughly cooked. I poured the included teriyaki sauce and still, no flavor other than sugar. I though, "no problem, I was going to put Sri Racha on the chicken anyway." The Sri Racha helped a little, but I don't rely on Sri Racha to bring the flavor for teriyaki. I use it to enhance the heat and the flavors that are already there. Noted above, the chicken was dry. While I know the trick is to make a bunch of chicken and hold them until the next customer, this method resulted in overly dry chicken. I'm not looking for a flood of chicken juices, there's got to be a balance. This felt as though this was held on far too long. I don't blame them too much on this. This might be a COVID situation where the unpredictability of customer flow disrupted their process. So the chicken teriyaki gets the pass at 3/5. This score includes the salad, which I don't ever have high expectations. The one critical thing about the salad was the dressing. I might as well have been eating the lettuce and carrot pieces (aka: salad) with watered down mayonnaise. On to the sushi, which I would not order again. The fish in both rolls lacked flavor. I'm not expecting 2x spicy ramen level spice from the spicy tuna, but it can't taste like shredded up cardboard waiting for soy sauce and wasabi to bring out the flavor. The Philly roll faired worse in that it was cut too big (hard to eat) and the fish was wrong in multiple ways. It was some kind of fish, but not the typical smoked salmon or might not have been salmon at all or low grade salmon(?). At any rate, I should have known to stick with whatever the restaurant's mainstay is instead of venturing off. That might have been partly my fault. I can't expect Jiro level sushi from a teriyaki shop. I wouldn't make a special trip to go back. There are two places I'd drive out of my way for, but not here. If I were craving for teriyaki and didn't feel like driving elsewhere, I'd come back solely for the chicken teriyaki. I might try ordering the egg roll or gyoza, but I'll wait and see if I do ever come back. I do feel for restaurants out there during these unpredictable times. There's a short list of restaurants I'd want wiped away. PNW is not on this list. I know a lot of teriyaki shops are small businesses that cater to their local community and that community's tastes. I wish nothing but the best for these folks.

I got half and half, salmon and tuna poke. The women on the phone said it's really good. I was hoping so because I've had alot of poke lately from different joints. She was so right. The poke had just the right amount of elements and not heavy or saucy. You get what you pay for. I'd love to try their sushi next.

Wonderful lunch! The pork teriyaki was outstanding and only $10. Comes with a salad and sushi rice on a huge plate. 2 great sushi rolls for $10. (Not just basic rolls either.) Wonderful service. The owner was so kind. She even brought us orange medallions after our lunch. It may be in a strip mall, but the quality of the food and of the service speak to fine dining. Ordered today's lunch special which is the chicken breast teriyaki for $7.95 but they added $1 to make it spicy and added another $2 to have brown rice instead of white so paid $12.02 total. The chicken was SUPER DRY!! It was smothered in a lot of sauce but was still super dry and thin and had little flavor. They didn't marinate it for sure. I didn't like the chicken at all. I know wish I ordered some type of sushi because clearly the teriyaki is not what they specialize in. The place is very clean inside and pleasant environment. I found it surprising to be the only one their in the middle of lunch hours tho. Over all, not happy and not coming back. I wish I just went to my go to spot and not trust a new place based on other great reviews which is the only reason why I came here. read more

Rude RUDE RUDE female at front counter...assume this snotty gross woman is an owner. Mad because I wanted no rice and more salad. She actually yelled at me for asking for a change. I ended up walking out due to her rude and uncalled for behavior. NEVER ever going there again. This was my first and last visit. Don't go to this place where a customer is not appreciated. There are many options for teriyaki in western Washington, and sometimes it's hard to distinguish between them when it comes to quality. PNW was clean, staff was friendly, portion size was good, price was not the lowest I have seen, but still quite reasonable for the area. The menu does include sushi which is a nice option not often found in your typical strip mall teriyaki joint. I had the Wednesday lunch teriyaki special (chicken breast teriyaki). It was tasty, although I found the teriyaki sauce a tad on the salty side. Overall, the quality was good enough to encourage me to return another day to try the sushi lunch special which sounds very reasonably priced at $9.99 for 2 sushi rolls. read more

Not a huge fan of sushi, but PNW makes this soybean paper roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese and I add jalapeños) that I crave ALL the time. The restaurant is always clean and everyone that works there is so attentive and genuinely nice. This has become one of my favorite places to eat with my sister and brother. The teriyaki is great here too, but I always come for the soybean paper roll. read more

This place is gross! I had the Katsu chicken it was average. My sister had the salmon tempura roll which was far from any tempura roll we've ever had. The roll had panko flakes on it that tasted pretty old we couldn't stomach to eat it at all. Save your money go somewhere else. read more

Been getting beef teriyaki from here since they opened. The portion used to be smaller, but meat was perfectly thin and no fat. Very appetizing. Now the portion size is decent but meat quality is different. But still edible unlike other teriyaki joints. I find the sauce too sweet a little less would be perfect. Dined in couple days ago with my family and they make great sashimi, sushi rolls and teriyaki. We ordered medium sized sashimi, spicy chicken teriyaki, tempura roll, avocado eel roll, and california roll. When I choose a teriyaki restaurant I look at three things: taste, portion size, and cleanliness. Their sashimi and sushi were fresh and rich in flavor. The rolls were fantastic as well, I kept stuffing them when I should have stopped eating. Their spicy chicken teriyaki was juicy and marinated very well. I also have to mention that they are very generous with the portion size. This place had to give one of the biggest portion among teriyaki restaurants I have been to. Lastly, being a new restaurant, PNW Teriyaki offers clean, well maintained space where you can dine in at the best comfort level. If anybody asks me for a teriyaki restaurant, I will not hesitate to tell them to try PNW Teriyaki. read more

I'm fairly new to the area I have to say I didn't even know these people were here but I decided to try them one day I like their bubble teas and that was the only thing I came in for then I tried just something simple that they couldn't possibly mess up was there shrimp tempura and of course that was pretty good not terrible everything was okay except.... I can barely understand the woman who owns the place she does not speak very good English it is really hard to understand what she's saying....she was incredibly rude to me today I went in to go get a bubble tea the first couple of times I came I got the same one the Taro that's the best one they have the last time I got a banana and that was pretty good I thought it was a tad sweet but it was still good this time I decided to get the banana strawberry I really thought that it tasted okay when I first took my sip but after a couple of sips it started to become way too sweet I am hypoglycemic so I have to be careful of my intake of certain things.... so I walked in and said to her nicely is there a way I can get a different one this one is a little too sweet I mean truthfully how are people going to know if something isn't right unless you express yourself most people wouldn't even bother to tell them anything but I'm not going to pay $5 for a drink and not be able to drink it...I never know whether people that I can barely understand can even understand what I'm telling them she literally snaps at me and bites my head off and says you don't complain like she was telling me not to complain no one talks to me that way that will make me lose my mind I doubt I will ever step foot in her place again... her husband tries to make up for her rudeness he actually saw me Mumble something under my breath and get pissed off at the fact that she just snapped at me I'm not related to her I don't work for her after all I am a paying customer don't you think they would want to make me happy so that I come back... sorry about the novel read more

Was looking for decently priced sushi in the area and found this place. We were not disappointed!! We ordered salmon and unagi nigiri and a salmon avocado roll. So good! We also got a bento box and a combo plate and were very impressed with the portion size. The service was also very friendly and welcoming! Would recommend to anyone. read more

While I usually get sushi for pickup to eat on the couch, I definitely would consider eating in person.

In long Previously, my biggest complaint with coming here was the total lack of parking every time I have tried. They obviously have no trouble getting the crowds in here. Today we scored some free time in the mid-afternoon, and their HH starts at 3:00 every day. We did go off the HH menu for 3 items, which ended up being worth it. You can't help but notice the buildout here. Pretty lights, interesting patterns or murals on almost every wall, lots of cool detail to the finishes everywhere you look. They even have yon selfie wall next to the washrooms (they took down a much bigger one). The bar has a couple flatscreens showing the game, but I'd probably not come here specifically to pay attention to a ballgame. At regular price, we got an awesome plate of chunky guac which I'd put against guac anywhere around here, at least that I've tried. At $15, it was almost a buck a bite, but, man, it was tasty. The bean dip had a great creamy consistency and mixed well with all the other condiments. We also got a muddled fruit cocktail from the regular menu, which was also excellent. The ceviche isn't a huge portion, and not overloaded with shrimp, but, hey, it's HH, and it's super fresh and tasty. The street tacos had awesome grilled flavor on the chicken, and the salsa served with them was fresh and excellent. We got 2 other salsas with our chips; the table salsa is nice but mild on the heat. The habanero salsa was a little too runny to get much on a plain chip, but it had great flavor and kick. Everything tasted really fresh and added plenty of seasoning to whatever was on the table. This is definitely a good place to mash up your salsas and dips and see what you concoct. The street corn was delicious. Such a perfect HH food--easy for the kitchen, but tons of flavor, and they nail the presentation. Corn tasted really sweet and crunchy even though you know they get it frozen. I'd get it again any time. For 3 apps, 2 dips, and 2 cocktails, we were under $90 before tip. Not too bad, especially since we went off the HH menu for stuff. This place is definitely in the rotation.

This is my favorite teriyaki joint in the Seattle area! They even have amazing sushi that is better than some places that only serve sushi. A few of my favorite dishes are the yaki soba, pot stickers, teriyaki. Sushi - dragon roll, scallop roll, and salmon sashimi. The decor and space is super clean! You can tell the owners took the time and energy to make it look hipster! Service is awesome! This is a true mom and pop joint and they really care about their food quality and their customers. Extremely poor customer service/management and as indicated by other reviews, you can just tell the owners here are very stingy people. I also just happened to be in there when the health inspector visited. They clearly have no knowledge of safe food handling procedures as I witnessed the health inspector lady raising her voice multiple times due to how badly the restaurant is currently being managed. I wouldn't be surprised if they failed their health inspection. read more
