Two orders of Salmon Maki, One order of Tuna Maki, and One order of California Roll

It's decent! If you are craving for sushi in the H-Mart food court, Sushi Spott will deliver for fair prices, especially with their "Buy 3 Rolls" deal. I opted for the Salmon and Tuna Maki along with their California Roll for our to-go order. The rolls were wrapped neatly and healthy amounts of ginger and wasabi were provided. For $30 for 4 orders of rolls, that was enough to satisfy the sushi craving. My only complaint was that the Tuna (assuming Ahi) in the Tuna Maki had a very fishy taste and lacked the quality I was expecting. No complaints for the Salmon Maki or California Rolls as they tasted fresh and had a crisp snap when bitting into them. Please see the photos and give Sushi Spott a visit in the H-mart food court!

With so many little sushi places in my immediate area, it's an unofficial mission of mine to patronize alllll of them, at least once if not more. So today, I visited a cute little Sushi Spott (see what I did there? ) at the Murphy's Corner location in Mill Creek. I've seen this place for years and finally had the occasion to drop by. I was greeted by Mercedes, my very kind and friendly server. For a place that's rather nondescript on the outside, it had a cute ambiance on the inside, roomy, lots of tables, cool colors and neon signs, two tvs, and Caribbean-type music playing in the background, I like it. They have an exhaustive and colorful menu, wow - most of which isn't applicable to me, which is fair given this is a sushi place. The options they did have, were tasty .. hard to go wrong when it comes to sushi. They were out of the "Ocean Salad" (seaweed salad) so I had big sads for that but got over it quickly enough The Veggie Tempura was delicious (as per information they provided, their tempura is made with just flour and water, no eggs or dairy), good form. There didn't seem to be as much veggies as I'm used to when ordering the same at other establishments ~but~ the dish was only $5.95 so I would say the amount was absolutely commensurate with the cost. The Cucumber and Avocado Rolls, respectively, were equally on point! A huge pleasant surprise for me was finding a specific vegan menu option, vegan Karaage. I found the dish reminiscent of a really good vegan chicken nuggets. Upon research, I was able to determine that Karaage is a Japanese cooking method most often applied to fried chicken, so that makes sense. Overall, I really liked this place. Their options are very affordable! There's a lot of sushi places yet to explore but if I find myself in the area, I'll absolutely stop by for a quick sushi fix ... being sure to order the vegan Karaage again, hopefully get me some Ocean Salad , and just take in the ambiance while taking a brief load off my feet for a quick spell.

I had a fantastic omakase experience at Sushi Spot in Mill Creek and also at the H-Mart cafeteria in Lynwood! The chef put out his best choices and came out to greet us, the uni came straight from Japan and was SO FRESH! The Hawaiian garlic shrimp at Sushi Spot in H-Mart had me missing Oahu and my girlfriend and I devoured the whole box, without even peeling the shrimp the flavor was so good! Definitely give this spot a try and you will not be disappointed!

Pushing my luck I did the sushi spot and try for the full restaurant didn't go as well, but this is what you can do if things go wrong. Starting at the end I got the bill and it had a QR code to pay, I use my debit card big mistake , because it going to take 2 weeks to get my money back. I pay the bill check my bank and the deduction was taken from my account as I was leaving I said I pay use the code the cashier said let me check, no problem I replied . She said it didn't go thru I show her my bank of American account and it had their buisness and the price of the meal with tip. She said it didn't go thru , I said she don't want any trouble I just pay double, she said it's not double I paid the bill without tip and it was as deduct from my account and I left .. problem solved. Now form the food I got the mussels , and lunch special bento box and sushi combo c. The lunch combo was huge and I try it was good and got lots of variety lots of crunch. My sushi combo c was okay it being sat , the salmon still had alittle on it it wasn't cut off , and one of the mackerel was brownish compared to the clear or whiter one.. i was suspicious later but it didn't register when they had a lemon wedge on the plate, so all in all lots of variety huge menu and fast service

good spicy tuna rolls! got takeout and had to wait a decent bit inside and the wait staff were nice but it felt a bit chaotic and disorganized. the food was good though, so can't complain

    Bento boxes

This seems like a friendly family spot and each item is very tasty and well presented. It's on the very expensive side so watch out for that. The bento boxes provide a good assortment with plenty of food just over $20.

Is the chicken teriyaki made from breast or thigh?

Breast I believe but I do not eat much chicken I love the pot stickers egg rolls and fresh rolls.

Is there an all you can eat option?

No, there is no "all you can eat" options.

Is the crab meat gluten free? And do they offer tamari instead of soy sauce? Thank you in advance!…

I want to say I saw the option of tamari sauce but can't say on the crab meat.

In short The vibe is all friendly neighborhood joint, but…read morethe fish (especially the sashimi) is excellent. Hard to beat this place. In long We've been meaning to try it forever and finally dragged our carcasses in here when we were coming back from an afternoon up north. Quiet Sunday night on Thanksgiving weekend, and we scored perfect parking and got a table instantly. So we're already in a great mood, right? It's a shoebox-shaped room with a few extra tables in one corner. Newish strip mall construction. You can come in from either end, which I would not have guessed. It's sparkling clean and well lit with some nice warmth to the lighting. Big flatscreens behind the sushi bar, probably tuned to the ballgame or the news or something. The menu feels comfortingly familiar. The usual apps, solid list of sashimi, lots of classic rolls and then a couple full pages of specialty rolls. Matcha for later. So far you don't feel like you're in crazy territory, though they do list hamachi collar as an all-the-time hot dish, which is cool. So many places run out of it right away and list it only as a special, but not here. The sake list is just enough--a couple of each type, some solid and reasonably-priced house options, a couple really nice picks. You get your sake right away and the miso doesn't take much longer. The takoyaki was delicious and beautiful. Lots of garnish, boiling hot, great flavor. Nice tako bits in there, lots of creamy filling. They garnish the seaweed salad with daikon and load it with cucumber. More places should do both of these things. The cucumber in particular enhanced the flavor a ton. Once the rolls showed up, things got better and better. The Love Hunter and the Amazing were both fantastic. Great combinations of flavors and textures, generously portioned and topped. We got some classic taki too, and that was a great contrast. I love it so much when places nail the classics and the modern. I got the deluxe sashimi dinner. For $36 this is such a value. The hamachi and the other tuna were both super buttery, the salmon had tons of flavor, and there were a couple other nice fish on the plate as well. It's great when you find a place you're super happy you tried, but this immediately goes into the rotation as an any-night sushi spot. Affordable enough you don't have to wait for a special occasion! Dig this place hard.

It is a smaller restaurant so it may be a good idea to call before going in for the dinner rush. I went on a solo outing here for lunch and was surprised that they have an all day happy hour for most of their operating days (excluding holidays). The happy hour offered a great selection of apps and a good selection of rolls! I opted to try the smokey roll which was on the happy hour menu. This roll featured smoked salmon on top which was very tasty. I also ordered the deluxe salmon roll which was also very good! I recommend requesting a side of spicy mayo for the smokey roll. Overall, I was super happy for both of my rolls and the price was not too bad for high quality sushi!

The thing that was lacking for me was flavor, which is crucial for any memorable restaurant. My wife and I were greeted profusely when we came in, and we instantly felt welcomed into the small but mighty establishment. I ordered the creamy curry udon noodles while my wife got the beef donburi. The creamy curry udon noodles was good - but in my opinion, I thought it lacked substance. I was looking for a beautiful blend of salty and sweet in each bite, but the curry flavor was so overpowering that I didn't taste the cream at all. The teriyaki had a great crunch, but it desperately needed some sort of sweetness to be paired with it. Not a bad dish, but it just felt a bit empty. The donburi was HUGE and busy, which was a delight. Great portions for sure! A mixture of kimchi, beef, and rice can never go wrong. The only fault to this dish was that the beef was rather tough - either it was overcooked or it was old meat, which I view as a cardinal sin. Overall, the mixture of Korean and Japanese cuisine was a nice flair and definitely unique. The amount of food is great too, with each plate being stacked to the brim. But when it comes to quality, I think there are better out there. Rounding up to a 4-star review though - bonus points to the friendly staff!

I checked my watch and I was surprised to see it was not closing time. There were still lots of people seated and eating. Clever way to lose customers. If this employee is too old and tired to work, send her home or cut her loose. We thought the broth was okay, it needed more flavor and it didn't really taste like authentic Japanese ramen to us. The red volcano was very very spicy, I do not recommend if you cannot handle spice, I really thought it was just a kick of spice before ordering but it was actually very spicy that it was almost impossible to enjoy the broth. I was surprised that in this day and age their prices were still very good. I was just there to order takeout lunch for my husband and myself. I ordered the Seattle Roll, a spicy tuna roll, chicken and tempura combo, and an extra salad since the chicken entree came with a salad. I was not prepared for how much food I would receive! When I brought it home, my husband and I both laughed because we had so much food that there was no way we could eat it all. Not complaining! It was great! The tempura was easily the best I've had in the area. Perfectly done. The chicken teriyaki was perfect as well. The spicy tuna roll was excellent. The Seattle roll was really good, but did come with smoked salmon as advertised so patrons should be aware of that - you do taste the smoke. The salad was shredded cabbage with a delicious light dressing. This is hands down the best overall sushi/teriyaki place for take out in the Town Center in my opinion.
