The husband and I spent a Thursday evening biking to Bond Brothers and decided to try the Poblano's Tacos food truck. We shared an order of the chicken tacos. The tortillas, fresh cilantro, lime, and cucumbers were amazing, but we were not wowed by the chicken. It didn't not taste like quality chicken and the seasoning was not great. We chose to top our nachos with a mix of chorizo and chicken. Looking at past pictures it looks like this item has doubled in size which would be expected if you are paying $10. Our neighborhood got this as a food truck during COVID. Ordering through StreetFinder was very easy with multiple reminders on the status of our order. When we arrived at the truck they were finishing up our order, which I prefer to my food just sitting. When we got home I got into my chicken nachos. The chips were crisps and homemade, chicken was flavorful. My only issue was the cheese used was like cheap movie theater mancho cheese as opposed to good cheese. We also had tacos which the family enjoyed except they felt like the rice/bean portions were small. Overall, classics ingredients used in the tacos and toppings. We ordered from this truck for "take out tuesday" during the government shutdown of indoor restaurants. I've seen this truck at many locations that I visit and never tried it. I was super disappointed with the food here. I ordered the poblanos nachos with chicken for $9 and got maaaybe $3 worth of food. Not portion-wise, it was a large portion but the ingredient quality was awful, which is a pity because their chicken is actually really tasty but everything else was just cheap cheap cheap quality. The tortilla chips were those over-salted round chips you buy in giant $2 bags. They used that gross football game nacho cheese sauce. No actual cheese. This is a Mexican food truck. Then topped with tomato, red onion, pickled jalapeno, and sour cream. I was just so disappointed in the poor ingredients and the chicken is really tasty I wish I could have just gotten some chicken and rice without all these nasty cheap ingredients they decided to use. I could come back here for the chicken but frankly I refuse to further support a business that charges so much for crap quality. read more

I had a great conversation with one of the guys in the truck while waiting for my food. They were very friendly, efficient and good at making tasty tacos. I ordered a quesadilla with carne asada, and the meat was very fresh and tender. You could definitely see the grain of the meat in each chunk, and it wasn't as dried out as the steak some taco trucks serve. My colleague got a platter with Tacos Al Pastor and said it was good. Both meals were $10 and came with a side, which is a solid deal. I would try them again if they come back to our office complex. read more

Enjoyed this truck for lunch the other day. They were updating the menu as I walked up with that days offerings and were very pleasant and nice answering questions and offering recommendations. I was happy that they had a legit vegetarian filling option which could be chosen for almost all their wraps, tacos and burritos ( squash, onion, cabbage, peppers). I went with the burrito bowl, which came with rice, beans, a small iceberg salad, pico, and green salsa for $10. The seasoning was good and the portion was more than filling. If I had been reasonable I probably could have had leftovers. I'm sorry though but I have to gripe about the styrofoam! There are more environmentally friendly to go container options and I really appreciate seeing these in the food truck setting. read more

These guys were at our pool tonight so we ordered dinner. We got a couple chorripollo burritos and a quesadilla. The food was absolutely outstanding. The burritos were so fresh and tasty. What made it even better was that the guy at the window was super friendly and although the wait was short, he made small talk with everyone. Tacos we passable (though the meat was cooked on a grill and skillet and not on a spit like it should have been) but the burrito had black beans and white rice in it as well as very little meat. WTF?! I grew up in Mexico and this is NOT Mexican food. It seems like they stuffed it with filler in order to save money... which is funny because the meal was about $20. When I walked up to the truck I was so excited that they sold poblanos, well they didn't know what I was talking about when I asked. The tacos are very bland and dry, be sure to put some sauce on them. Definitely not my favorite food truck in the triangle area. Went to the food truck and it was so so bad I feel obligated to review. Not just a little bad, but the worst taco experience ever as far as expectation vs reality. It took 45 minutes to get my food when the line wasn't long at all. It arrived cold with stale hard chips & "salsa" that was basically watered down tomato sauce maybe? The corn tortillas were rubbery & slightly wet for some reason. The chicken inside was okay, but again it wasn't hot & besides what looked like scarce amounts of shredded lettuce there were zero veggies. I figured with the price & the hype it would be amazing food!!! ..but It was terrible, I'd never eat there again or recommend it. There was a nasty long black hair in my burrito, and the chips I got as a side were only a small handful. The salsa had a very strange aftertaste and was too watery.
