Such a great idea They have a Food Truck that's hooked up to a lounge and Bar. You outside to order then you go have a seat and they bring it to you. Nice atmosphere, all game on several TV's. I had the Philly Brisket. Delicious too. My only complaint, there are SO MANY great items on the menu and not enough time to be in town to have more. My daughter had a Meatloaf sandwich and had a bite, scrumptious. I must go and experience it. I'll be back next time I'm in tow. read more

The business used to be a food truck only and they moved into this location and used the relatively small place to turn into a sports bar, keeping the "kitchen" parked outside in the food truck since the suite is an end unit. If you're a big sports fan, this place is probably perfect for you. It is set up with the bar to the far left as you enter, with a divider in the middle and then the dining area on the right of the divider....and TVs everywhere you look with signs indicating which game of interest each is tuned to. And, like most sports bars, the noise is set to loud. From the dining area, you can exit out the side to the mostly covered outdoor dining area which is where the food truck is parked, and where you go to place your order (not give it to your server who only brings your drinks) and pay for it. Also where all your condiments and napkins are located. For those of you who are not sports fans, all is not lost as the food is pretty good. Granted it's sports bar oriented but it's really pretty tasty. The turkey BLT is between large slices of toasted and buttered bread with a slightly light serving of turkey. The Philly is on a small hoagie and has some kick to it with all the jalapeños. Standard sandwich orders come with chips but fries are available for an upcharge. Service is, well, again it's a basic sports bar so don't expect sit down restaurant service but the folks are mostly friendly. Bottom line is if you love to sit at a bar, or eat grill food, and watch your favorite team on tv with friends, this place should satisfy you. For those who just want some good grill food, order out or if it's a nice day, sit outside where it's not as noisy. read more

Salty! Wow, both my cubano and my husband's beef sandwich were incredibly salty. So much so that we could not eat even a quarter of them. I suppose it was just as well that my cubano was missing the pickle as well as the mustard. The shoestring fries were decent, and much less salty. Probably won't go back. read more

The brisket sandwich is disgusting. I got one awhile back and it was the worst brisket I ever had. I don't know how it was cooked but it was obviously not smoked. It tasted like pot roast. I thought it would have bleu cheese crumbles but it has some nasty bleu cheese dressing or something on it. I could not eat the whole thing which is a first for me. Its the only time I didn't finish a brisket sandwich. Gross! read more

The Mac and Cheese with bacon was absolutely fire! The Brisket Philly was like absolute s*x!! AND THE 3 MEAT CHILLI!! Flavors you'd never suspect!! Wouldn't recommend a better place! THE PATIO is really where it's at!! From walking in with one of the regulars aka GOOD TIMES , we knew what we were in for. Another delicious dinner for our subdivision's food truck Tuesdays. Ordering online is straightforward and easy. Pay online and select a pickup time. Pickup was on time, and the food piping hot. Tried a couple of sandwiches - Black Angus Brisket and Moose Cubano. Brisket is a thick slice of all-day slow roasted beef, super tender, flavorful and moist. It's dressed with caramelized onions, melted bleu cheese and creamy horseradish sauce. It's served on a toasted square ciabatta roll. Each bite melts in your mouth - earthy beef, tart bleu cheese and a hint of tangy horseradish. Delicious! The Moose Cubano is a great take on the classic Cuban sandwich. A big scoop of slow cooked pork piled high on a crusty ciabatta roll and dressed with spicy mustard, dill pickles and melted cheese. The pork is perfectly done, tender and juicy. Another great taste combo. Also tried the mac 'n cheese with bacon. It was OK, nothing special. And lastly the chili mac. The same mac' n cheese, smothered in chili and topped with melted cheddar. The chili is homemade, with big chunks of 3 types of meat. The chili has some heat to it. I love chili mac and this is a good one! Another tasty food truck. Give them a try! read more

Great BBQ sandwich and chilli. The staff are nice and beer selection has a good variety. There are lots of TVs with sports on them. They didn't have a game with sound on, instead it was music. There were several groups having a good time however the volume of the music made it difficult to talk across the table. The only negative was the bar tender changed the channel of the game several tables and people at the bar were watching. There was a second left with a possible game winning touchdown play. He didn't bother to check around to see we were watching and the game was still going. He was able to quickly change it back to the game in progress. What was so important to change a football with playoff implications? A hockey game that at this point doesn't matter compared to college football. He needs situational awareness! read more

They have a patio area that gives the impression it's dog-friendly. There are no signs on the patio indicating otherwise, and nothing on their website mentions a no-pets policy. I even tried calling ahead to confirm, but the call went straight to voicemail. When we arrived with our dogs and sat outside, a staff member saw us at least twice and didn't say anything. Only after we had settled in were we told that dogs weren't allowed because the bartender is allergic. While I absolutely respect the health and safety of all staff, a patio that appears pet-friendly should have clearer signage--both online and at the location--indicating that dogs aren't permitted. There was one small sign, but it wasn't enough. We left feeling disappointed. read more

Delicious, fresh, cooked to order from this food truck. I had the brisket sandwich, the flavor was wonderful, the brisket was amazing. It tasted so good. Hubby had Cubano and felt the same way. We also shared a jalapeño coleslaw, it was light, vinegar based with just a hint of jalapeño. It was lightly spiced. All in all this is good eats. Generous portions at a reasonable price. My 1st food truck experience!!! They offer a simple menu and every item sounds mouthwatering. I opted for the Jerk chicken which was brined and slow roasted in house made jerk sauce that was served with a caramelized pineapple and cilantro jalapeño slaw. Omggggggg the wandering moose cake to our neighborhood during this crazy covid 19 time and they let us preorder food to help keep us socially distant. The guy was sooooo unbelievably nice he even threw some bacon to my puppy. We got the cubano, southern grilled cheese and the Mac n cheese and it was amazing!!! I highly recommend all of it but the grilled cheese had pork and jalapeño pimento cheese and it was amazing!!!! I loved it so much! read more

TIP: If they are offering beer cheese soup with grilled pretzel bread as a special, GET IT. You will thank me! Also note that if you're not in a sandwich mood (although they all looked really look that I saw), they offer each of those sandwiches as a salad as well. I know because I got the Chicken Club on lettuce instead of bread. And while it was good, I would ask for the dressing on the side next time, as it was heavily dressed. Bacon lovers should also take note that this bacon is pork belly, so it's on the fatty side, but boy does it have some wonderful smoked flavor! This food truck is definitely smokin'! read more

Visited this food truck located at Deep River Brewing Company on July 4, 2018. It was a memorable time with a good amount of activity going around the brewery. Writing this review for Moose Catering, which I'm pretty sure is a different operation than the food truck but run by the same folks. Anthony and his crew hit it out of the park. When we decided to do a pig pickin for our DIY backyard wedding I thought it would be fun, easy, relatively inexpensive, and tasty enough. They surpassed our expectations. They offer a great selection of sides (more fresh/vegetarian options than most other barbecue catering), and I honestly think they cooked up some of the juiciest and most tender pulled pork I've ever had in my life. They're nice guys, too, and happily chatted with many of our curious non-southern guests about the menu and the process of cooking a whole hog. Overall, we didn't have to worry about a thing, and the food was above and beyond what you typically expect to get at a wedding (and we had leftovers for days!) Great value too--really fantastic price for the high quality of food and service. Can't recommend Moose enough. read more

Food Truck Tuesday, this week I chose The Wandering Moose! I decided to order the Smoked Brisket Sandwich and Mini-Beignets. The sandwich was okay, I was not a fan and would opt for another option next time. I think the bleu cheese is what I did not like about this sandwich, it was extremely overpowering and did not pair well. I tried to pick it apart and just eat the brisket, onions and bread with horsey sauce which tasted good. I have never had beignets before so I do not have anything to compare them to. But, they were good and I loved dipping them in the powdered sugar then the bourbon-maple syrup. I definitely want to give this food truck another shot, can't wait to try it again! read more

The owner was drinking and confronting customers and even yelled at kids in our group (they don't advertise their no kids after 7pm policy anywhere that we found). There were similar stories from other neighbors about the owner, who was described as being drunk confronting patrons. We will not be back. read more

These guys are truly amazinggg. I tried the "Southwest Veggie Burger" and trust me it was heaven. Being a Vegetarian, whenever I try a Veggie or Black Bean burger, most of the times I am served a frozen patty or a very flavor less burger but these guys make their patties from scratch and the burger was not at all dry instead it was very flavorful due to the soft and fresh patty and Red pepper cream sauce. I would definitely recommend you to try this out. read more

Attended an open house and Wandering Moose was already set up before the event started. Great food for a food truck and owners are from Western NY. The beef on weck was so tasty, tender and the horseradish was amazing. I ordered a side of brisket hash and the serving was large. I am a big fan of Food Truck Tuesday at work. Seriously, Tuesday is one of my favorite days of the week. I don't have to pack a lunch in the morning and I get to try lots of different foods that make my inner-foodie smile. Today I decided to try The Wandering Moose. I looked at the menu online before my lunchbreak and thought the brined jerk chicken sounded good, however they didn't have that available today so I decided to get two sides instead. I went w/the 5-meat chili & the brisket hash. The chili was delicious! If you don't like a kick to your chili then avoid this. The kick is what I liked most about. That and the fact that even though it was a very small bowl there was so much meat. This is the stuff chili-dreams are made of. The brisket hash was also Very Good. That's Very with a capital V. It had amazing flavor, though it was pretty light on the brisket. More brisket and I would have described it as AMAZING. Maybe next time, guys. read more

At The Wandering Moose, every item is below $10. These prices may still be slightly high, but you don't feel downright dirty by spending these amounts. I ordered the Brisket Hash for $5 - smoked brisket, potato, onions and peppers served with a side of red pepper cream sauce. The Brisket Hash tasted as good as it sounds. The combination is a winner, and the price is more than fair coming from a food truck. We have a food truck on the GSK site once a week and on special occasions. Over the past several years, I've seen a lot of food trucks and sampled the fare. This truck offers good food for a realistic price. The flavor is really good, the prep area is clean and the service is fast. All-in-all, a good food truck experience. I've had the Cubano, the Brisket and the Mac & Cheese. All tasty .... OUT OF A TRUCK. If you're not a fan of street food, try this truck, It'll probably change your mind. This food truck comes to my apartment complex a lot. I finally got around to trying their Southwest veggie burger. We also got a side of the jalapeno/cilantro slaw (they give you a pretty good portion for $2). I put a scoop of slaw on each bite of my burger, and it was DELICIOUS, and I think eating it that way really upped the experience. The burger was clearly made in house (err...in truck?) as opposed to frozen. It was super fresh and had a nice warm/oozy texture. It went really well with their "naan" (more of a flatbread) and the sauces. I maybe would have liked a little more sauce in the burger, but adding the slaw kind of compensated for that. Their only other vegetarian option is a grilled cheese sandwich...not exciting enough to pay food truck prices for. I also didn't find the slaw spicy for something that has "jalapeno" in the name. Next time they are at my apartment complex, I will probably be very tempted to get that burger with slaw. read more

I was at Bond Brothers and the delicious smells coming from the food truck lured me over. I ordered a brisket salad and my boyfriend ordered the brisket sandwich. Both were very good and flavorful! We haven't been impressed with some of the previous food trucks, but I was very happy with this one. I hope they come back soon. read more
