I purchased a car from this shop in November 2019. At the end of the month, less than 200 miles…read morelater, I took it in for a checkup. The mechanic told me that there was no way the company didn't know about the major mechanical issues because the engine was covered in oil. I had signed an 'as is' clause so I swallowed hard and paid the 2,900 repair bill. I got my car out of the shop mid December and used it to travel for Christmas (SLC). By January 6th the car was back in the shop in need of a new engine block. This cost me over $2,400. I had to take out another loan to cover the repairs. At this time I'd had the car for 2 months and 1 week. It had been drivable for 5 weeks. I have now spent $13,100 plus taxes on a junky car that I have no confidence in. I asked Guardian to split the repairs with me and they refused. Run!
