Two of us ordered. One was a patty melt with no onions and tater tots. It took longer than 30 minutes to get our food and of course it came with onions and no tater tots. She took it back and had it remade meanwhile the other persons meal was half eaten. We arrived for breakfast around 9:30 and the place had a few occupied tables with one server and a barista whom also acted as a server. It was small but a cozy feeling. Having never been there before I wasn't sure what kind of coffee drinks were available, but they had a decent selection so I ordered an iced caramel coffee (bonus in my book). We ordered a cinnamon roll to start and share, then our main plates. We received the roll before my coffee even though I ordered the drink first; probably because the barista at wasn't stationary position and was taking other orders. It was then that things slowed down a bit after a large table was seated. Once we received our food we were over-all happy with everything. Though my husband was disappointed in the potatoes O'Brien since the onion and peppers were just added to the top of the regular breakfast potatoes instead of frying them together. Pocketstone is SO cute. I wish I could take it home with me. It's very smalltown diner that is meant to be the first stop of anyone's visit to Big Fork. It's welcoming, charming and ready to serve you a lot of local love. The country fried steak has to be the most delicious have ever had. The steak is very generously portioned and is cuddled up with a blanket of sausage gravy that simply hits different. The eggs benny were very yummy too. I didn't get to have much of it since my partner plowed through the dish but the hollandaise was silky and creamy. The butter seeping into the biscuit just made it an all-star dish. The biscuits here are CRAZY GOOD. I think all of the baked goods are amazing. We came here daily during our trip (which we never double dip on a trip!). Cinnamon rolls are a sweet tooth delight. I wish I could take a dozen home with me so I can make the dish last just as long as the memories.. lol I would certainly come back and will do my best to keep it a secret so the locals can dine in peace. read more

Downtown Bigfork did well with the addition of this local breakfast/lunch spot. It's a perfect place to grab a bite to eat either before or after you do some shopping down the street or walk down to the lake. The food was filling and flavorful and the service was very nice as well. Inside the restaurant has a lot of historic artifacts and cute little trinkets that makes this spot more down to earth and authentic. This is a sweet little restaurant in Bigfork, on the edge of Flathead lake. Simple menu done really well. I went for a BLT with sharp cheddar and French fries while my wife went with a chicken sandwich with fries. The bacon on the BLT was thick cut, cooked perfectly and served on perfectly toasted bread with the just the right amount of mayo and lettuce / tomato. The chicken was a breast, sliced and cooked through perfectly so as to still be moist and tasty. Good seasoning on the chicken. We also ordered onion rings, always a good way to tell if a restaurant spends their money with Sysco (commercial supplier of frozen goods) or makes their own sides. Homemade for sure, perfectly cooked and delivered piping hot to the table. The server who took care of us is second generation, following in her mothers footsteps, sweet young lady who delivered personal service with a smile the whole time. Our friends good to Bigfork fairly often and their "go-to" was closed so we picked this place at random and were so glad we did. They said this is their new eating place when in town and we completely agree with that choice. read more

What a jewel of a restaurant! The main problem is, how do you narrow your food choice? EVERYTHING is SO DELICIOUS! I had the meaty breakfast sandwich with egg whites, sausage, and pepper jack cheese on sourdough. Each bite was dripping with ooey goodness. I got full with just a half of the sandwich. My friend had the Montana Mush. It was oatmeal loaded with cranberries, pecans, Raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg. She was also given half and half to add to the oatmeal experience. So Good! This is a place locals frequent, as well as tourist like us. Hubster and I just left here...with over half our food in containers (breakfast for dinner). Service was friendly. Serving sizes are very generous. It tells you this on the menu, but you never know when trying a place for the first time. Hubster had the double order of biscuits and gravy with two eggs and potatoes. I had a half order of the classic eggs Benedict with potatoes and a single biscuit and gravy. All was delicious. Biscuits are soft, fluffy, and tasty as was the gravy (like homemade). The eggs Benedict had thinly sliced ham on a very tasty and soft English muffin along with a perfectly poached egg and perfect hollandaise sauce. Hungry for some breakfast and decided to give this place a try. Greeted as soon as we came in. While sitting, he greeted everyone with such enthusiasm which made everyone feel welcome. Food was pretty good. Paid an extra $1.50 for gluten free bread which is a bit smaller and thinner than regular bread. Coffee was okay but no splenda. My veggie scramble was good. They added all color bell peppers, onions and tomatoes... wish there were mushrooms and/or spinach but it does say on the menu that they use what they have. My husband breakfast burrito was a nice size and delicious but he didn't care for the thick salsa. It was suppose to come with a ranchero sauce, which he doesn't like so this was the other option.
