Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Miller are very proficient and caring. I was comfortable during my procedure as they took care of me quick and easy. Such a relief to have my problems taken care of by such great doctors! The front desk staff are also very nice and welcoming. If you cannot get a hold of this office through phone calls, texting them is the best option. It's how I received the fastest responses. Furthermore, expect to wait a while for an appointment, they are always booked. I did not get a hold of them easily, but when I finally did and got my appointments, my experience was great. Probably a blessing in disguise-the doctor probably gives the same kind of neglectful care as the front office. I came here two years ago so I looked forward to visiting again. It was a bit of a wait from my scheduled time. Nevertheless, it was great to see Dr. Transfiguracion again. I felt like I was seeing an old friend. She has always been so nice, friendly, and personable. She kept me relaxed as she conducted the foot exam. The services this office is very poor. I have been trying to get proper treatment for months to no avail. They do NOT return calls nor do they send needed referrals with accurate info. When trying to reach them on many occasions my calls are never answered, only automated text msg responses with business hours. I was deeply saddened because Dr. Shin seems to be a good doctor, however his staff has done a terrible job with following up on referrals and also sending wrong patient information to my medical ins company. I have decided to seek medical care elsewhere due to the lack of professional and medical courtesy. read more

Previously,I had a good experience with Dr. Shin. Today I'm writing to warn those who need help to look elsewhere. The reviews of the office said that there were problems with the phone and texting to just get en appointment. So, I went in and the woman behind the desk said I would need a referral. OK, my doctor faxed in the referral and for 2 days....nothing. I just came back from another "in person" meeting with the front desk,and after turning to walk away, she said could make an appointment. That appointment was 5 weeks away. They're too busy to hire another doctor or they just don't appear to care. I'd make another choice than Podiatry Service. read more

I've seen a couple different Drs here over the past few years. My experience has been just ok. The Drs were both very nice and listened to me but I feel they aren't thorough. Both Drs told me at the end of my appointments that they "think" it's probably this or that. I don't care for that phrase coming from a Dr. I want and expect a thorough exam and feel they should not say "think" before running tests or giving you a complete exam including watching how you walk. This place can definitely do better or maybe just the Drs I saw. read more

Dr. Christianne J Transfiguracion is awesome! Over the past several years I have been to 3 or 4 podiatrists with pain in both feet due to the small toe on each foot slowly pushing inward. It became painful walking due to the little toe rubbing and pushing on the adjacent toes. Each podiatrist I visited all told me the same thing, use a toe separator but this also just puts more pressure on the adjoining toes and doesn't do much for the ensuing pain when walking far. When I finally said "it's time to try again" and was sent to Dr. Transfiguration, she took a look and said she had a procedure that might help. After having the simple procedure on my right foot, I could immediately see that it was going to help. A week later she did the same procedure on my Left foot. I just can't thank her enough for having the knowledge and skills that seem to be missing from all the other podiatrists I have seen in the past several years that just told me to wear a spacer, including the VA podiatry department that I had been to 3 times for help. I highly recommend Dr. Transfiguracion. She Listens to patient, unbelievably kind, and very professional and knowledgeable. read more

This office is absolutely impossible to get ahold of. I've called over 20 times and not once got through to a person. They text you, saying you'll get a response quicker via text. But I never got a response to that over a week later. The only way I can even get an appointment is if my insurance calls on my behalf. read more

The first visit was great no problem I waited 3 months for this appointment my son is 12yrs old and has really bad ingrown nails and both of his big toes first appointment they only did one toe..okay I trusted them everything went fine..second appointment I get a call almost 2hrs before saying my Aetna ppo isn't in network I understand if not that's fine but they should of called me days or a week before so I could have made another arrangements for my son which he can barley walk, they did not care about you has a patient..This office is horrible horrible please do not waste your time !!!!!!!!!! read more

I would stay far away from this "Dr." Transfiguration. I went for a simple nail clipping and she hurt me bad. A month later a toe nail was ingrown and infected. I had to go to the emergency room. I think she took pleasure in hurting me. read more

I'm new to the area and made an appointment with Dr. Christopher Shin to get an ingrown toenail treated. I'd seen the procedure on some TV shows featuring podiatrists so I had an idea what I was in for. Podiatry Services makes their patient intake form available on their site, so I was able to fill out all of my info in the PDF directly before printing and signing. Double bonus...super clear text, easy printing. It's about as good as if the form itself were online. Nice. Got there bright and early and handled my PPO co-pay. Dr. Shin was personable and patiently answered a few of my questions. He explained what he was doing, which is important considering the 'cold spray' he used to numb up the foot before the needle came out with local anesthetic. As Dr. Shin dutifully explained, the cold spray was the worst of it. I barely felt the needle after that, and then the procedure itself was pretty quick and nearly painless. Dr. Shin was warm and engaging, distracting me from the work successfully. I appreciated that. A cold bedside manner would not be ideal with this or any procedure. Shin was skillful and efficient and I have zero complaints. Great job. I'm already feeling better after he relieved the tension on the nail that was biting into my toe flesh (I know, TMI). A nurse came in later with a due balance for the patient responsibility part of the bill and hey I can't blame them for doing that with the patient on premises. I'd probably do the same if I were running the show. I paid that and boom I was out of there feeling much better than when I went in. Also, I was relieved now that I'd been through the initial part of the treatment and know what to expect for the follow-up visit. Dr. Shin is exactly the kind of doctor I hope to get when I find someone new. I can't say I've had the same luck with ENTs but the search continues there. I also have to give props to the friendly staff. That's important too. You all make a difference in the total experience and it's appreciated. 5 Big Stars from me and a hearty recommendation. Dr. Transfiguacion performed my bunionectomy in March 2024, and she did an outstanding job! My scar is almost invisible and my foot is recovering with no issues, and minimal pain. I normally do not write reviews, but Dr. Shin is an exceptional doctor! I have diabetes and went in for a yearly checkup on my feet. However, it has been 3 years since my last checkup. This amazing doctor actually took the time to not only answer ALL my questions, but provided me with practical and beneficial information regarding how diabetes affects not only my body, but specifically my feet. Hi, well, my medical group changed the "in network" Podiatrist. So, I made an appointment and went in for a toe nail trim with extra attention to the area where I get ingrown toe nails on my big toes. The first Dr. I saw was Dr. Transfiguration. She was very personable, nice. But, she hurt me, more than I had ever been hurt by a toe nail trim. When I got home, there was blood, bleeding where she cut deep, and hurt me, for the prevention of another ingrown toe nail. The toe got infected, my toe hurt and was infected, and it took me almost 3 weeks to get the infection gone and be out of pain. The next time I went in I saw Dr. Nguyen, she did much better, thankfully. When i made my return appointment, I specifically said that I did not want to see Dr. Transfiguration again; and the appointment was scheduled with Dr. Wells. Soooo: I get an appointment confirmation text before my upcoming appointment, and it says it is with Dr. Transfiguration. Being a new patient (New patients are not informed about their very strict rules about one phone call, one message left, or one text.), I didn't know they would blow a gasket, when I tried more than once to contact them... they don't return calls or texts for 2 days, 48 hours, unknown to me. THE PROBLEM I FIND WITH THIS PRACTICE is that they changed my appointment, who it was with without calling or contacting me, which would have prevented problems that followed, and it would have shown respect and concern for the patient. By the time they finally called me, my appointment being 2 days away, there are no appointments available. The person who finally called was arrogant, inconsiderate, and demeaning. Evidently because I bothered them with more than one message left. The office is nice, clean, everyone seems nice... but, customer, patient care and service from the front office is lacking... with an "our way or the highway" attitude, though the patient has not been informed about "their way" ahead of time. The disrespect for me and my freedom to choose the Dr. I would like to see, meant nothing to them. I will not be returning to this practice. read more

Today I went to see Dr. Nguyen of Dr. Well's office. I made an appointment last week and when I showed up to this office for my very first time ever, I was asked for 20% of the service. I explained that I was not told that was required when I made my appointment. However, I was promptly told by Reggie the front desk woman that I was told, and every patient is told. I was then asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. I responded by stating that I was not prepared to pay 20% of a service that I had never had since I had never been seen. (Besides that how do they know what 20% equates to when I have not even seen the doctor?) I was discussing with Reggie the question of, why would I lie about being told that I had to pay 20%, when I was rudely and suddenly interrupted and told by a woman supposedly named Crystal, who never showed her face to me, and also I did not even know that she was there, that I could leave the office and there was no reason to argue. I told this Crystal, that I was not arguing and that I was having a conversation with Reggie not her. You know this is fine if you want patients to pay 20% but I don't agree with it. There are many issues that arise from this: #1 - If the patient has never been seen before how do you know what 20% of the visit is? I understand that you can look up my insurance and see what my coinsurance percentage is, but the few times that I have paid the coinsurance % rate up front, I ended up paying more than what I actually owed, only to be refunded the difference 3 months later because these front desk clerks don't actually know what my payment should have been. #2 - I am already paying a fee for my health insurance each week to my company, I have also set aside an HSA to pay the amount of my portion of a doctor's visit. Why would I pay another fee to a doctor that has never seen me and does not even know what the diagnosis is? You can't expect a patient to pay a % of a visit when they have never been seen. Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY, what kind of way is this to treat someone who has never been to your office before? Thank God I was not in dire need to be seen, because I really don't have the 20% of whatever total that they pull out of their hat to pay them right now. There are no office visit fees listed anywhere and since I was not originally told that I would have to pay a lump sum payment until I arrived I did not bring any money with me. Christmas was 2 days ago and I really don't have any extra cash on me. I have a savings account but that money is hard to get to at a moment's notice. Had they told me about the fee when I initially made the appointment I would have been prepared. And that's my point!!! I WAS NOT TOLD!!!!! You doctors want to get paid and I understand that because we all do. But to actually permit your staff to turn away a patient is wrong. Yes some people don't have what is required to be seen, but if you take the time to make an appointment, wait a week(if you are lucky) until the appointment arrives, drive down to the office, fill out papers and wait in the office only to be called back to the room to wait longer. Why on earth would a patient not pay? I exemplified everything to you to make you believe that I would pay, not to mention I have PPO insurance, an HSA and a CDL which I gave you to make a copy. How could I get away without paying you especially if more than likely I will have to see you again? If you are caring for me then I have to pay you or you will no longer care for me. Yes there is a chance you won't get paid but there is a better chance that if I don't pay you that it will catch up with me and MY HEALTH. I won't be coming back to your office ever. read more
