Unexpectedly Fun and Effective Foot Care (4 stars) I went to see Dr. Scott Dewenter in a pretty bad mood, but left feeling surprisingly good--both physically and mentally. The experience was definitely not what I expected from a foot doctor visit. Dr. Dewenter is part podiatrist, part stand-up comic. He kept the jokes coming throughout the appointment--even had pre-written jokes on slips of paper, which at first felt a bit corny, but honestly made the visit entertaining once I leaned into it. Some of the jokes were downright cheesy, but I ended up enjoying the whole vibe. The office is in an unusual location--shared with a chiropractic practice--which threw me off at first. I was expecting a more clinical approach, maybe a prescription or treatment plan, but instead, I got what felt like a medical-grade pedicure. He worked on my feet with tools like a Dremel, cleaned everything up, lotioned me down, and sent me on my way. No complaints--my feet looked and felt great for weeks afterward. If you're a guy who has no clue how to take care of your feet, this is the place to go. Dr. Dewenter will fix you up, give you a few laughs, and have you walking out feeling better than you walked in. I definitely recommend him--and I'll be back. read more

Dr. DeWenter is a breath of fresh air. It's so nice to see a physician that takes their time with their patients. I brought my son in for an ingrown toenail and my son was very nervous. The doctor had "dad jokes" for days to lighten the mood. He explained the process and really was gentle. My son felt very little discomfort. I called to schedule an appointment for my stepfather on a Monday and was able to get an appointment for the next day. The receptionist was very professional and kind. My stepfather had overgrown fungus toenails and was hesitant about the appointment as I have made him a pedicure appointment and Kaiser foot doctor appointment in the past to no avail. Doctor Dewenter got right in there and got the job done. My stepfather came home so excited about how his toenails looked and how funny Doctor Dewenter was. I highly recommend Doctor Dewenter! Dr. Dewenter was recommended by my Mom's hospice team. He came to the house and took care of her thick toenails curving into her flesh. He also advised me on home care. He is very nice and friendly, telling corny jokes the whole time. I suspect that is to distract the patient from all the cutting and grinding going on. He did a great job for a fair price (her insurance does not cover house calls). I would not hesitate to recommend him. read more

I've had ingrown toes for years, and have always tried to self treat it, lots of pain, lots of time wasted trying to correct them, that was until I finally made the call to get them corrected permanently and I couldn't have chosen a better place than this office. From the nice receptionist from the first phone call to schedule to the actual day of permanent ingrown correction everything went great. Doctor dewenter is hilarious! He's got so many dad jokes that it makes the whole process go by super fast. Had a gentle hand while numbing both my toes and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes with 2 sides on one toe and one side on my other toe permanently corrected. I was so happy with results that I'm going next week to do the final other side of my toe, should have done it the same day but all good. I paid cash and his price was more than reasonable, super happy, if you're even thinking of getting it done do yourself a favor and go. I only had to take 2 days off work and I was wearing regular shoes 3 days after the correction, alittle pain but not too bad. Thank you! First time in the office on 10 /2/19. Met with Dr. Scott D. What is there for basic Foot check up nail trimming... I found the office staff to be exceptionally pleasant and polite at all time. Dr D was extremely professional great personality and funnier than hell. It is great to meet a Doctor Who not only knows what he's doing but has a hell of a personality. No doubt I will be returning to the office in the future for my podiatry needs. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The receptionist with grey hair and glasses was so disrespectful and unprofessional, I cancelled on the spot!! When I inquired why the office needed to confirm my insurance info on 3 separate occasions, she began raising her voice, and finally we were involved in a shouting match in the office!! My mom was in a rehabilitation facility after major back surgery, she had a few ingrown toenails, he was kind enough to go to the rehabilitation center to take care of her! He told her she was already in enough pain, no need to have any extra pain! Dr? Scott Dewenter came as soon as possible and removed her ingrown toenails! She just couldn't get over how easy, quick, and relatively painless! She also said he was kind, understanding and very professional! So almost a year later, I had ingrown toenails so bad for almost a year, it finally got so bad I couldn't wear shoes, only flip flops and could hardly walk. I was disabled and had just almost lost my entire left arm! I was traumatized from that and was terrified of pain. It was hard to leave the house so he made a house call! I couldn't ever repay all he did for me! He was kind, generous and kept me distracted, and before I knew it all 4 ingrown toenails were gone. He also helped us with payments and price, if I had money I would have given him a huge tip which he totally deserved! I would recommend Dr? Scott Dewenter to anyone who's looking for a podiatrist! I just saw Dr. DeWenter earlier today and found him very profession. I called the office as a new patient on Tuesday and asked for the soonest appointment they had available. I was expecting at least a 5 to 10 day wait but was pleasantly surprised to hear "How does Thursday at 11:00AM sound"! Receptionist had a great attitude and got me back into a room within 15 minutes. Dr. DeWenter solved my foot problem and gave me a regime to follow over the next two weeks. I would refer him to any of my friends or family. read more
