This was the first time I've had to get bodywork done on my car (thanks to a hit and run while I was at work). I was so devastated since I take a lot of pride in the appearance of my car. It looks amazing. I've actually never seen it look so good, got it used with mild damage to these panels that I didn't catch at the time of purchase. Seeing the bumper totally scrape free and the fender bend free is weird to get used to! The paint is blended very well, and they went the extra mile by buffing my undamaged (though severely rock chipped) hood and clear coating it. Plus they detailed it inside and out before I picked it up! If anything else happened to my car Autocrafters would definitely be where I'd go. I highly recommend them! I received super great service at Haywood Autocrafters when I dropped off my car to repair my AC. I had a rocket my condenser that caused a leak they took the time to explain the process to me. An estimated time of when the repairs would be . It took a little longer than expected, but that was not their fault. I have a new car and it was hard to get the OEM parts that were needed. When I would call for updates they were very polite and upfront to describe the issue that they were trying to overcome with the parts. When the work was completed. They gave me a call to let me know that I could come by and pick up my vehicle and they went through the inspection process with me to ensure that I was satisfied with their work. Have taken my car here twice. Unfortunately needed repairs but thankfully Autocrafters is there to help. The first time was a hit and run, my insurance company was trying to screw me over (shocker) and tell me to make a collision claim not an uninsured driver claim. The staff helped me understand the difference and helped me fight back with the insurance to get my car fixed properly with the correct deductible and claim so my rates wouldn't go up. The second time was after the unusual hail storm and everyone's cars got murdered! Again my insurance company tried to screw me and tell me it was totaled. With the help of Chris and his staff we were able to get the insurance company to pay to get it fixed. My car has looked perfect both times! After the hail storm everyone was getting their cars fixed, I know people who went to the places their insurance recommended and when they got their cars back they were still damaged. On January 7, 2020 my wife and I had both our vehicles stolen from our garage at the same time. They were a 2015 Nissan Armada platinum edition and 2015 Ford F-150 XLT. Both our vehicles were recovered a couple days later and were Wrecked and trashed. The F-150 ran into a State Trooper trying to flee. Had damage to the driver side front and the truck bed was caved inn. The Nissan Armada was used for target practice, had bullet holes all around the vehicle it also had damage to the the passenger side, a broken mirror and side steps. The interior and headliner were used as an open canvas for graffiti. We were devastated and heartbroken. Chris and his crew from AUTOCRAFTERS came highly recommend from a good friend of mine. I called asking about hours, the person (male) on the phone gave me the hours, then asked what I had. I went to explain that I had a new (unpainted) front fascia I wanted to have put on and I had some old vinyl stripes removed and that I would like to have the top of the car touched up and possibly the stripes painted on. Before I could explain that, he cuts me off, telling me that they do not do full paint jobs like that, that they do collision work, I tried to explain that the front had been in a collision and he cuts me off again, telling me he's not interested. Imagine that, a body shop not interested in doing body work? OH! I see! Maybe it's because he couldn't smell insurance money on the deal. So, buyer beware, I guess if you have hail damage across the top of your car, he wouldn't be interested in that either, or if you have a tree branch scrape along the top of your car, that's not what they do either. I learned all I need to about this place, my Roush Mustang will NOT be pulling into their parking lot. It's a shame too, I'm one of those who would have done some great free advertising considering I'm all over this state. read more

Our 2009 Honda Civic sedan was rear ended a month after we bought it while driving on 2222. The guy that hit us did so at a weird angle (he was using a cell phone and not paying attention) so that it bent the left rear corner and trunk quite badly. I found out about Scott Preece and his team after I had to cancel a spray in bed liner appointment I had with Auto Crafters for our truck. Scott told me that he was a State Farm insurance preferred shop (the person that caused the accident's carrier) and that he would be happy to give me an estimate. He was not pushy and the only reason that he brought it up in the first place was that I had told him that I was postponing the Line-X application while I got our Honda repaired. I was impressed with the courtesy and professionalism that was extended to us during the estimate process. He took digital photos and explained all of the parts that would need to be replaced. He also went into detail on what else might be damaged underneath all of the body panels. I decided after the estimate that I would go with Auto Crafters. I dropped the car off and the rental company had been called by AC to pick us up at the same time. AC even called to get the rental car changed when it did not meet our needs. The finish date for the Civic was delayed when the parts did not come in on time. Scott called us promptly to let us know that he was waiting for the parts to complete the job. The car was finished as soon as he got the final parts from Honda and returned to us after a complete inspection when we picked the vehicle up. It was at this time that we also received our written guarantee from Scott. It is a warranty that gives us the peace of mind that if anything went wrong with the work they did it would be fixed without any hassles. This is for the life of the car and not something that expires after a relatively short period of time. I was very impressed with the quality of work as well as the courtesy and professionalism of Scott and all of his employees. I would have no reservations at all when recommending this to anyone that demands a quality body repair facility. (((((((Update))))))))) I also returned to get the Line-X spray in bed liner done after we got the Honda out of the shop. Scott and his team installed it on our 2010 Tundra Limited 4X4 Crew Max without any flaws at all. I use this truck to haul ATVs and other large items and the bed liner has not even scraped at all since the install a few months ago. It looks great and I am very satisfied with the job that they did. It was more than I expected to pay but it is far better than having the water "pond" in the bed like it used to in our old Tundra.
