False advertising. They advertise that they "wave your deductible". In reality they wave half the deductible. Took over seven weeks to get our car back. They nickel and dime the insurance company. Replaced a tire that had a "bulge" in it. From damage of a small deer that dented the fender. The work was very good, but not enough to cost the $950 I had to spend on the extra weeks they had the car. So in all, waving half the $1,000 deductible and paying the extra $950 for the rental. This is my second time using Georgetown Collision and my experience was not good. My car was in the shop from the end of December 2024 to the end of February of 2025, due to a collision I wasn't liable for. They worked with the other person's insurance (USAA) to try and fix my vehicle. They fixed the cosmetic damage and replaced the hub cap. They did not fix any other damage needed to make the vehicle safe and drivable (the car dies while running and will not start. The service 4WD light is still on.) They also left a rag on top of my battery, which I found on my own while checking to see why my car wouldn't start. Super frustrating. Certainly would not recommend. read more

I have been and Insurance Adjuster for 18 years and this my story and opinion of what happen at GEORGETOWN COLLSION in Georgetown, Texas. I took my 2017 Nissan Maxima to GEORGETOWN COLLISION for repairs on three claims, 1st claim Rt Fender and front bumper damage, 2nd claim for hail damage and 3rd for front end damage. My car sat at their lot for 41 days and the only thing they did was tear it down and write supplement. Now they do tell you upfront that vehicle is going to be there for 30 days or more which is fine. And you have to sign this 14 plus documents on how their process is done and for you not to call and check on your vehicle because it delays the process because if everyone was to call and check on their status it would disrupt there process. In the documents that I initialed and signed states that they will waive your $250 deductible and it also explained if deductible was higher then $250 they would only charge $250. As time goes by I finally hear from them and they want me to approve their supplement, which is not my responsibility they need approval from the Insurance company not me. I was told its part of their process I told them I would not approved their supplement the way it was written and again I am not the Insurance company and they needed to get the approval from them. So I get three supplement from the shop and each estimate they are overlapping items on the estimate, for example my hood was to be replaced for the hail damage and front end damage, there's overlapping paint, Pre-scans and Post-scans on each estimate. They had an item to remove the head airbags to PDR the roof, it was not necessary to do this you give them time to push the head airbags out of the way at .5 mechanical rate which is being generous. Prior to my vehicle being total I asked if we can negotiate the cost of repairs since there are overlapping items on the estimate. They were going to give me a total sum, but prior to them giving me a total sum the insurance company decided to total the vehicle. When I got notified that my car is being totaled I wish I could upload you pictures of how little damage my 2017 Nissan Maxima in my opinion. I am contemplating retaining the vehicle and finding another shop to fix it, it depends on what the insurance company is going to offer. I was told by my insurance company how much they were paying GEORGETOWN COLLISON for my vehicle to sit on their lot for its crazy dollar amount. There posted GEORGETOWN COLLISON rate is $150 per day and that just sitting there and that does not include the work they did such as teardown (the removal of the front bumper and headlamps write supplement) which is another cost. What's frustrating is that if they would have called or kept me informed on what was happening we probably could prevented from me losing my car. When I went to pick up my belongings and looked at the vehicle this vehicle was repairable if the shop would have kept me in the loop we probably could have gotten my vehicle fixed. As was getting my belongings I was frustrated, upset, disappointed and all the other emotion, this is a big deal for me, this is my lively hood, my only mode of transportation and yes I did make a comment when they were showing me my vehicle, I stated this place is terrible and the person showing me my vehicle said she had nothing to do with it and walked away and when I walked into the lobby to see if needed to get or sign anything as I was walking towards the door I said this is a Terrible place and the lady sitting on the left desk as you walk in made a remark for me to "HAVE A NICE DAY" That is NOT something you say that is losing there vehicle. That day I wrote a email to Dolly and she responded and when I come by to pick up my sunglasses that I left behind she asked for me to speak to Brad the Manager. As I arrived to pick up my sunglasses I asked to speak to Brad, and explained all of the above. He apologized and said that they should have kept me and him informed. I told him I was under the impression that my vehicle was getting fixed since I have only received supplements and he wish that if he knew maybe this might have better outcome. As for the lady sitting on left as you walk I explained that was uncalled for and the lady said that it wasn't malicious, for me to have a "HAVE A NICE DAY" after getting vehicle totaled and picking up my belonging. Again, as I stated before, I have been an Auto Insurance Adjuster for 18 years, I've worked Hail claims, collision claims, Flood claims. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Terrible quality paint and body repairs. I'm going to find out just how much they honor their "lifetime warranty." I've found so much wrong with my truck the longer I've had it. * HUGE bumper gap. * They damaged my original passenger side fender installing the new antenna mount. * My brand new passenger headlight assembly rattles and the light flickers at night when I drive. I checked the tightness and the assembly is loose allowing it to shake in place. Sucks that I have to try to find time in my tremendously busy work and life schedule to return the truck to them when it should have been done right in the first place. They make promises they can't keep just to prevent you from taking it to someone else and then don't deliver on quality work and customer service. read more

This place is very shady and the workers are really rude! They will say they will waive your deductible to get you in there which I found out is illegal. They will keep your vehicle a minimum of 30 days which you have to kerp calling and staying on top of them to even get it back by then. They tried to tell us we had to pay a big fee to get our vehicle back "after" the insurance had completely paid them! Called the insurance company and they said no it is paid in full. Called G/T C back and they were still refusing to give it back without paying the fee. Had to call insurance company back and have them again call the place. They quoted insurance company one price then tripled the price. From over $3k to $9k and this was supposedly a small fix. We questioned the insurance company which questioned the repair place and they lowered it a little over $2k. I would never recommend anyone to this place and will never go back! read more

First, they don't give you a timeline and insistent you sign their agreement on their terms so you are obligated to pay storage fees per day $150. Two weeks later they call you w an estimate way over the actual needed repair. Beware of this place and signing their agreement. My insurance paid the storage but did not agree to the repair and had to pay for the parts to be placed back on the car after the stalling game. This shop waits to get back to so you are obligated for storage fees over the weekend (4 extra days). It's up to you but this is my experience. They don't care about repairs and storage fees and you signing an agreement is where their bread n butter is. read more

In Texas, I have the right to choose any collision repair place and I don't have to let my insurance company steer me to a network shop for my repairs, a network shop who uses cheap, aftermarket parts and a network shop who only cares about the insurance company. I wanted to choose a quality company who cares about me and my car. What I didn't realize is that Georgetown collision won't accept a cash pay customer who isn't using their network based insurance because the customer isn't the number one priority, it's about collecting insurance money just like the rest of the other collision repair facilities. I needed a fender replaced and repainted. They refused to even look at the car as they do not accept cash payment customers. I was involved in an accident caused by the other party. The damage was extensive. The other party's insurance company were slow which caused delays. Georgetown Collision, Kelly and the team did a great job of communicating the progress and working through the issues. There were additional damages they found after the initial insurance adjuster inspection. The delays came from working with the insurance adjuster. In the end, my truck was repaired to like new. Pros-the repairs were done with fair amount of quality and when you could actually get them on the phone they were pleasant and nice. Cons: it has taken over 89 days to get vehicle back and their reason was always the same - (waiting on Insurance approval) however that was a LIE because spoke to the Insurance adjuster daily and they stated that they told them they would NOT approve the 'high-end' parts they wanted to use for repair - they told them the standard parts they could use. GT collision NEVER ONCE advised us that the insurance did NOT approve the parts - BUT they went ahead and used them anyway and then when it finally came down to use physically going to the SHOP and DEMANDING the vehicle be released they wanted us to pay the over $1,200.00 plus dollars difference from what the insurance HAD ALREADY paid them. They advertise that they will 'waive' the deductibles - but that's how they get ya. They charge for high end parts and don't tell the customer they are doing that then expect the customer to pay the difference on the back end. They even have signs up in their shop that say that if you 'expect' to get your vehicle back in less that 30-60 days then don;t bring them their- the staff also have all kinds of derogatory signs posted on and around their desks about customers and how they suck--example: customers-"give me a fX*king break" and "customers s*ck"... I mean what reputable business allows that - speaks volumes of what they think of their customers and that they obviously get LOTS of complaints from their customers!! Would not take my vehicle their EVER nor refer them to anyone--- unfortunate because the employees (Guys in the repair shop) that actually do the work do a decent job!! I feel like I am giving this review a little too soon. I have only three days to give the review until I get charged by the body shop, for not giving a review. I will send an update once all is resolved. I was in a hit and run. I wasn't prepared to have to pay a deductible to get my car fixed. This body shop was running a deal to waive my deductible; so I chose Georgetown Collision, for that reason. The reviews were good so I didn't hesitate much. After having my car, for nearly a month (short a couple of days and for pretty minor damages) I went to pick up my car. All looked well with a couple of questions on my side (I'm not sure about one of the places of paint damage that I think is from a part they replaced/fixed). I asked about it and was told that the insurance company didn't approve that to be fixed. I'll look in to that later. While inspecting my car, I found that my back seats were put down and a large front panel of my car was laying on top. First, why were my back seats put down? Second, why was a piece of my damaged car laying there? Once I mentioned it, a member of the team came to remove it and apologized. I'm left to question why my back seats were left down since the damage was only at the front of the car. In the accident, my passenger side mirror was pushed in and scratched. It was replaced. Once I was on the road, I noticed that the mirror was misdirected and went to adjust it. Doh! It won't adjust! My left side will but the right side won't (the side that they fixed). I called them right away to report this issue. Unfortunately, I was rushing to a class and couldn't turn back around to have it looked at as they had requested. Now, I will have to take off of work, again, to get this fixed. Not only that...it may take time in which I have to be out of my car, again, and in to a rental car. I wish they would have tested everything before giving my car back to me. Perhaps they would have noticed the large front panel of my car in my backseat? Here is a nice perk...they semi-detail the inside of your car! Yay! I loved that! My car was a mess. It was not super well done, as if I had paid someone, but the dash was wiped down. I took my vehicle to Georgetown Collision because I had always heard their radio ad. The people that I dealt with were helpful and professional. My issue comes down to theft from my vehicle. I had multiple electronics in my vehicle that were stolen while the vehicle was in their possession. The vehicle is in a locked lot so it had to be theft from someone who works there. I voiced my opinion to employed multiple times and also emailed the owner. I received no response from the owner and the employees told me "I don't know what to tell you. I asked my guys and they said they didn't take anything. I believe the word of by guys" That's great that you believe your workers but someone is clearly lying. These items didn't just disappear. I have my car back and that's the important thing. I have literally felt like it's been held hostage for the last week by people that are less than qualified to work on it. What could I do??? There's a general sense of disorganization over there. When I first came to pick up my vehicle last Friday, March 1st, I was prepared to pay the $250 deductible I was quoted. I was told that no, in fact my paperwork didn't show any payment necessary and great, out the door I went! Three things subsequently became very clear: One: NOBODY had test driven my car upon completion. Two: You have some less than sober technicians working on people's cars, on systems that can be DEADLY if work is not performed correctly. Which happens to be exactly what happened to me. I could have been KILLED by my front wheels coming off because your technicians ineptitude at tightening the wheels on. Three: You should put much less effort into BRIBING people for good internet reviews, and much more effort into actually earning them. Let me break this down briefly for you.... Once I reached 20 mph while leaving with my car, I heard a horrible clunking noise from the front left that was associated with the velocity of the wheel turning. I immediately turned around and came back to your shop. One of the technicians was still there and found out that not only was the break shroud bent on that side, presumably causing the horrible sound I was hearing, BUT none of the lug nuts on that wheel, OR the other front wheel had been tightened correctly. -- Not to mention the technician had cross-threaded one of them on that front driver side wheel, and left it!! The technician that I was there with then tried to tighten the cross-threaded lug nut and broke off the lug bolt. The fun continues as we both decided, your technician and I, that with the rest of the lugs tightened down I'd be alright until Monday since it was Friday at like 6:15 by this point. This time I got 3 miles away when as you know, the whole hybrid system went into alarm, saying to pull over to somewhere safe, which I did. I understand that you don't have the machine for this type of hybrid system but a quick test-drive would have found this issue as well before sending me off excepting all to be good. I appreciate you finishing the work and fixing the mistakes but as I currently sit in my car and notice that the horn doesn't work right, ^insert eyes rolling backward^, there's one thing I CAN be sure of... There is NO way I can leave you good online reviews. I can however leave this "fair and honest review" so that you can release the $100 debit hold you took to ensure you get your reviews. After a pole jumped out (not that I hit it) and hit the side of my truck on the left rear quarter panel, I needed to get it fixed. It's a 2022, so I decided to return to Georgetown Collision. I said return because a couple of years ago a tree limb fell on another vehicle we owned and they did the body work at that time and we had zero complaints. It took a little longer for the work to be done but not at the fault of Georgetown Collision, it was due to the parts not being available. We kept in contact with them and they kept us updated on our truck. We were very thankful to get our truck back today. This is a going to be a very honest review of how the entire process went for my car repair. To start when they say they'll waive $500 of your deductible it is true! I saved over $1000 on that front since I had to do two different claims. But the caveat to that is I have had to pay $400 in a rental car because of how long the repairs took. This was partially due to my own planning and assuming my rental car would be taken care of by my issuance. It was only paid for the time of repair which was exceeded by over 3 weeks. The staff is beyond friendly. Everyone from the techs, to the secretaries. I swear Dolly knew my number by heart by the time I picked up my car. I will come back. I loved their service and how friendly they are. I just wanted people to be warned about the rental car issues. read more

If you are thinking of taking your car to Georgetown Collision in order to save yourself from paying the deductible to get your car fixed, I strongly recommend you consider your options. Taking my vehicle all the way up to Georgetown in order to try and save money ended up being one of the biggest regrets of my life and ultimately cost me money. While the people there are extremely nice and helpful in order to get your business in the door, once it is there they will do next to nothing other than point the finger at somebody else if something goes wrong. It took them 40 days to do a week and half's worth of repairs, they wouldn't return phonecalls, they told me my car was "next in line for paint" 2 weeks in a row, they sent me out with a busted tail light and a dead battery, and I had to pay out of pocket for my rental car because of them. If I were to give advice to anybody, I would say just eat the cost of your deductible and take it to a reputable place that your insurance company recommends. My insurance company tried talking me out of taking it to Georgetown Collision three separate times and every time I told them that I was extremely confident that they would be perfectly fine. I regret that decision now and I know now after searching online and talking to many other people that I am not the only one who has regretted the decision to take my vehicle to the Georgetown Collision. UPDATE: Scott, when I initially called to find out the details of the no deductible deal, I spoke to you. YOU were the one who I felt had a handle on things and why I initially felt comfortable taking my car to you. I DID try speaking with your staff on MULTIPLE occasions but it was Dolly who told me on three separate occasions that Georgetown Collison would NOT accept responsibility for the amount of time it took to fix my car and would NOT cover the difference for my rental. I even had my insurance company contact her to get this worked out and she wouldn't return their phone calls. I tried to give y'all the benefit of the doubt and I gave y'all MULTIPLE chances to make it right but Dolly said Georgetown Collision's hands were tied and would NOT budge to help me no matter what. My negative rating was posted only AFTER I was completely ignored and left out to dry after the whole ordeal. I tried for SEVERAL days and was REFUSED any help. Okay, so this is going to be lengthy.. First off, I truly feel like these guys try to bite off more than they can chew. We brought our vehicle here because of the advertisement that states, "Tell them you heard us on said radio station and we will wave your deductible!" So why not try it right!? We dropped off our vehicle on 11/14 after the claim was filed. 13 days later, while the vehicle was in their possession, we filed another claim for the the other damage that was on our vehicle. A month goes by and we make contact with them and ask for a status update. Originally, the estimated completion date was the latter part of December, which did not happen. We received a new update that it will be done on January 3rd.. Time came and they said that the guy had the flu that was working on our vehicle and would return to work shortly. Well on the 8th I call them for the update and I get a call back from a guy who told me that all that was needed to happen was for the windshield to be installed and he said that the guy was still out with the flu and that he was the only person to do the autoglass. I was told the vehicle would be ready the 17th by 6pm. So I called on the 17th and asked if it will be ready today. They said they were waiting on a bracket for the front bumper, which is not what I was told had to be done for the vehicle to be ready. So it looked like it was going to be a few more days until completion. After hanging up I decided to call back and ask if I could come look at the car. He then told me no and that the bracket actually did make it in and that It would be ready for pick up from 6:30-7:00. I did not get the keys in my hand and walk out the door until well after 8pm. During this 64 days my family was subjected to a vehicle that was simply not compatible with the 7 members in my family. With 3 car seats and 2 older kids you kind of need a vehicle that's comprable to the vehicle that was being repaired. Which the rental car wasn't their deal, it was ridiculous that we were subjected to one for so long.. I was not happy with how hard it was to hear back from these guys when my wife and I tried contacting them on multiple occasions. I took on extra work because of how long it was taking and how much out of pocket we were going to have to pay for the rental. For them to take 64 days to fix some things that shouldn't have taken but a few weeks max is very diaappointing.. I feel the deductible assistance program is kind of a scam because it pretty much says you can not share your feelings or be rude at all if you want them paying your deductible then there is a requirement to leave reviews. I respect that they say be honest & fair, which I am, but something isn't right with that deductible assistance program and the fact that they keep vehicles for so long. The amount of stress that my family has gone through these holidays is beyond belief... all because of this 64 days they HAD to keep the car. It does not make sense to take so long to finish a vehicle that when getting it out the door faster is the real way to make good money. To top it all off one of the manager took it apon himself to make a joke about delaying the car pick up tomorrow. Not cool.. or professional.. I do feel that the least that could be done is for Steve to cover our excess rental costs that insurance did not cover. There are parts of the repair that were not done to my satisfaction as well. They did 'attempt' to detail the car while I waited, but even that was done poorly. Not happy about the experience. I definitely would not recommend these guys to anyone. My 2016 Toyota Corolla was involved in a minor fender bender accident back in February as a result of a teenager backing out of her driveway. The car was totally drivable which allowed me some time to consider all of my options and to settle with the at fault driver. Long story short, the at fault insurance company decided to drag this out and I ended up having to file a claim with my insurance company leaving me responsible for a $1000 deductible for the time being pending subrogation. I heard the Georgetown Collision ad on the radio claiming "we'll pay your deductible". I was skeptical but decided I would give it a try even though they are not preferred by my insurance company. Had the vehicle towed to their shop around May 23rd and they informed me that they would need the initial payment I received from my insurance company to get the repairs started. The initial payment was $2600....my insurance company's estimate was $3600 less the $1000 deductible. I agreed to send the payment. At this point I was informed that the shop only pays a MAXIMUM of $500 towards the deductible....NOT mentioned in their radio ad....radio ad simply says "we'll pay your deductible". Misleading. A few days later a representative from the shop texted me and said my damage assessment was complete and that a supplemental request had been sent to my insurance company. I then asked as to the amount of the supplement and their answer was $11000!! So, because of this insane supplemental request, my vehicle was totalled. My insurance company said I could keep the vehicle if I so chose less the salvage value of their offer and less any sop fees since they are a non preferred service provider. Initially I was going to keep the vehicle until I was informed by the shop of the "fees" I would incur if I decided to keep the vehicle. They said I would owe $125 per day storage fees plus shop charges if I wanted to have it put back together. So, it would cost me at least $1250 in storage fees plus whatever they would charge to put back together. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THESE CHARGES IN THE EVENT OF A TOTAL LOSS (which again was triggered by their insanely high supplement). Their representative kept telling me that their technicians are on commission and have to be compensated. I said that is not my issue and you are asking me to pay hundreds of dollars to essentially do nothing other than provide an estimate. Completely unacceptable and was not informed ahead of time that payment of these fees would be required in the event of a total loss (which happened because of their exorbitant supplemental request). I have done business with other body shops where i did decide to keep the vehicle (that are preferred by my insurance company -- USAA) and I never got hit with any fees like these. Their representative kept hiding behind statements like "we are not the ones who totalled your vehicle -- USAA did" and "this is how the business work" I beg to differ. Be careful -- saving a few dollars on your deductible could be more costly than you think. read more

Worst possible auto body they had my truck for 87 days all it needed was a new fender. They never touched it, well I guess they did it had 240 more miles on it than when I left it there. Just don't go there. read more

Took my car to Georgetown Collision for hail damage repair. No hiding the fact that I chose this place because they waive the deductible if you write an honest review so here it is - Georgetown Collision is VERY honest about how long your vehicle will be in their shop. It's on the walls everywhere in big bold letters. They say a minimum of 30 days so if you need your car back sooner than that or your insurance only covers 30 days for rental, then make alternate arrangements or find a different shop. My car was with them for 3 weeks. It would have been fixed sooner but there were a few days lost going back and forth with my insurance company (they were seeing more damage than what my insurance company estimated and had to sort out the expenses). My car also had to be sent to my dealer to reset something that their software could not so that added a couple of days as well. No big deal. My car when I picked it up was properly washed and cleaned and the hail damage seems to have been fixed really well. I don't see any more damage with my naked eye (there were almost 30 dents from hail that were easily visible). So I'm pretty happy with the job they've done. In the spirit of a fair and honest review - one of the covers for my seat belts is missing which they said they will look into and try and find it for me which is fair. Communication with Georgetown Collision was good. Hannah was great about calling you for updates (even though they say they will not call to provide any updates), returning your calls and responding to emails. Overall, pretty happy. Saved on my deductible, car was taken care of and damage was fixed well. If you can afford the time to drive to Georgetown, I would recommend this shop. read more

The quality of work seems to be good, appreciate the level of detail that went into making my car look like it just came off the lot. That said they had my car for almost two months, the date for completion kept changing which I understand happens, but the level of communication was very poor. Twice I called to get a status update on my car and to see what the their quote was vs my insurance estimate. Both times I was told by the person I talked to that they would have to look into it and call me back, which they never did. Finally on the third try I track down someone who was able to get me the details I needed. I was also told this the job would take longer than originally estimated, only to find out again, upon calling in twice (again issues finding someone who can help me and call me back) that it would actually take longer than the second estimate. Finally, on the day I was supposed to pick my car up, I was told it would be ready at 5. That they were detailing it and the car needed time to dry and be inspected again. I decided since they closed at 5:30 I would pick it up the next day, but the car still wasn't ready despite what I was told. Overall, I think the majority of the staff is professional, and I trust this shop does fine work, but I think they are too busy to give customers the proper attention they deserve, and to communicate well as well deliver on simple follow through requests. I think a reviewer below said it best when they said this place bites off more than it can chew. read more

They will waive $500 of your deductible if you write a "fair and honest review." Then have you sign something making you agree not to leave a negative review about really anything that can go wrong on their behalf. This place is a joke. If you have to solicit reviews to that extent then maybe you should work on your quality rather than buying reviews. Literally bribing people for positive reviews. Should be illegal. read more

First i want to say, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I dropped my car off after hail damage wrecked it. It needed quite a bit of work so i expected it to take some time. They told me 3 to 4 weeks and it ended up being more like 7. I called over and over, week after week to check status and each time i got "it will be done Friday", just to get to Friday and it still not be complete. Finally got it back and they fixed the hail but they didn't replace the cap that covers where the fog light it suppose to go, there were wires hanging from the bottom of my car and my number that had some previous damage seems to have been damaged even more. This was a terrible experience snd i have been trying to get in touch with them since to no avail. read more

I picked up my 2018 F150 yesterday, they replaced the tailgate. Dolly and Deserey were excellent keeping me informed throughout the process and working with my insurance company. The entire staff was professional in all respects. I was pleasantly surprised that they detailed my truck prior to my arrival .
