If I would have read these reviews before I scheduled a deliver I probably wouldn't have call them, mostly one star. About Pods Management is... probably inexistent! Somebody said that they are in the Philippine Islands. Nobody answers calls, so, we assumed they were too busy and we scheduled online... two days later it keeps on asking to confirm even after we confirmed so many times. Finally we received the container! What a difference, the driver was on time, cordial, friendly and all together professional, he even moved the container to one side so we could still park next to it. If it wasn't for the driver I would have given them one single star. His name isTy, In a week we'll need another container. Absolutely biggest let down of my life. I have NEVER dealt with a more clueless, foreign using customer service to date..... i tried to schedule my pod for delivery on July 2nd 2026. Well apparently when i called a couple weeks ago to do that it was never submitted or scheduled by the agent. I called Monday to confirm delivery, Only to be told nothing was available till the 6th. When i pleaded i had movers and explained the situation he said "i will file a claim But you should forsure be good for the 2nd as your house is 20 mins away. Don't bother- this company is misleading and unethical. The call center is based in the Philippines, the sale rep offers a discount that has conditions- that were never specified in the conversation, the up charge for month to month is ridiculous, the customer service call center in the US will not honor their companies quote. I should have paid attention to the red flag- when $149 for protection was being shoved down my throat- which makes you question on-site security. The call rep not based in the PI couldn't even explain in detail what that was- and just kept saying well if you don't want it you don't need it- which in no way explains what that up charge is- which made me question how long she's been working with the company? In a short straight to the point I wasted over an hour of my life, trying to get an update quote with the correct dates and pricing- I lost access to the 2 pods- this whole time the so called experienced Rep didn't reserve them- had the nerve to tell me she will speak to a manager and see if there is anything she can do to help with the situation- I get a call this morning that management will be reviewing my phone call and there is nothing they can do with the requested date for the pods as there is nothing available. I told her rudely I could care less if you review my phone call- I won't be doing service with you so that doesn't give me any piece of mind that there gonna train this agent- who works over seas probably for minimum wage! Only one star because you can't have a zero. my neighbot used PODS to move recently. She had 3 PODS delivered one was placed in her driveway, one was placed in the roadway, and the third was placed in my yard without my permission. I was out of town at the time. When PODS picked up their unit they damaged the grass leaving deep ruts in the yard. They have advised me that they bear no responsibility because the customer signed a damage wavier. When I advised them that my neighbor could not sign a wavier for damage done on my property on my behalf, they said it's a civil matter and they bear no responsibilit. My issue has never been with the workers; it's with customer service of the PODS company, which has been a nightmare. The support team is not based in the U.S., and the communication was terrible. This company is a mess. My move started on May 15 when I ordered a pod to be delivered to my house, and the woman that helped me mis estimated the size I would need. I was told a 16ft container would be fine and it wasn't. I even asked her about this recommendation and I was told "this is my job, trust me". I'm living in my new home now sleeping on the floor a month later with nothing because the customer service at PODS is so bad no one knows where my POD is and when I call they claim they can't see any delivery scheduled despite taking money from my account for a scheduled delivery! It's a joke but the worst of it is that the joke is on me. They are so disorganized and will keep telling you to look at the portal online that doesn't match what they say on the phone! Now my husband is currently begging them to please FIND and deliver our stuff! It's insane. I will never use them again. *Day 2 now of our supposed delivery day that hasand STILL we get the run around with no escalation or urgency! Please use a more caring and organized company. So far it is has been a great experience. They drop the POD off for 3 days which I didn't think I would need but, definitely did. The benefit of the POD is that it is low to the ground so makes it extremely simple to load big items. Has hooks inside for tie straps. POD is tall. I was able to stand the couch vertically creating more space in the POD. Larry my POD delivery driver was friendly and communicated throughout the process. Would call when he was nearby and arrived within the pickup window that was provided in my email. More expensive than other options but, the convenience was worth it. Hours on the phone with this company! Not something you want to do when trying to move. We were given two quotes for different sized containers, depending on our needs for a second container. We had already received a first container and everything went smoothy. We tried to add the a second container but, apparently, the supervisor didn't log the quote. We ordered the second, smaller container, and it didn't work for the size of our sofa. The 8' is tiny. We scheduled for that container to be picked up and the larger, 16' container to be delivered. It's 7am on a Saturday morning and this company is moving a massive container right outside our home for a neighbor. Sounds like they're drilling directly inside your brain. Called PODS because I thought to myself that there's absolutely no way this could be allowed or legal but a call center agent verified that their company policy states they begin moves as early as 7am. They think it's ok to make this much noise in a residential neighborhood and don't care one bit if it's an issue for anyone as long as they do what's needed. The noise level? The ground is literally vibrating from their huge equipment and they are now going on 28 magical minutes of intense hammering noise. Who knows how much longer they'll be here for. Even though it's not inside our home it sure sounds like it. Whoever runs this company should be fired for allowing their employees to begin these incredibly loud moves at 7am on any day, let alone a weekend. read more

RED PILL LOWDOWN I had committed by late 2020 to prepare and sell my house and find another in 2021. I also accepted the fact, I had to store my belongings till the other house was ready to move into. In the meantime, packed (two month project) all my personal effects into uniformed sized black /yellow storage plastic tubs or sealed in plastic bags. Called PODS in early February and Albert promptly delivered the 12' POD. It was really simple. Since everything had been prepacked, It just took that same day to loadup the red lettered white container. Albert returned following morning for the pick-up. Totally relieved that the big job of storage was in the rearview mirror. Depending on when the house sold and when I would find the next house, I was very much prepared not to revisit my POD for a long time. Fastforward, it's now late September 2021, and I'm ready to revisit and unload the POD. Called PODS and it took a week to schedule a delivery date. Storage business must be very good; I said. It's Albert again who is doing the delivering. When I had attempted to roll up the container's gate, it was defiant. Apparently some things had fallen and blocked my acccess. Fortunately they were small items and were easily removed. After getting the roll gate completely opened, it was obvious that the container had been tipped or rattled, and thus causing a couple of rows of tubs to flip over to its side. There were a few broken tub lids and a few small picture frames broken. At the storage yard, these containers are forklifted who knows how many times. I'm sure they are not cradled like a new born. Oh, and everything was covered in dust. It's now November 1st. Thank goodness the emtpy white POD is gone after sitting idle in front of my house for three weeks. Roberto the driver told me some impatient clients have had to wait up to six weeks for a pickup. I guess I'm one of lucky ones. Scheduling of deliveries and pickups are controlled out of Florida. IF THERE'S A NEXT TIME: Keep the center of gravity lower. In other words use a longer container or multiple smaller containers. 12' PODS are designated for local storage and longer containers for out of state moves. PODS a great option for do it yourself storage and moving. For items sensitive to extreme climate, I recommend utilizing self-storage warehouse with climate control. The start, I wasn't even in the state for, I live in SoCal, I needed to move my Grandma's things from an assisted facility into storage until I could get the time off work(and to go to her memorial) to unload the container. Unwritten Rules to abide: #1 If you're hiring movers and you won't be there or cannot move the items by yourself DO NOT SCHEDULE MOVERS AND THE CONTAINER DELIVERY ON THE SAME DAY. This will rarely work out and it will be unnecessary stress. #2 If you don't have time to line things up over a couple days or weekend rather than in one jam sesh then get a U-Haul. Point blank I'm sorry, a lot of the complaints could be resolved if people understood the business model. (It's not a U-Haul!!) So when I got to Vegas I had to fit the warehouse schedule, I'm up at 6am, they don't open until 8am... they might close at 2pm.. do I know if I can get it all done in that window? #3 Read your RENTAL AGREEMENT. Take it as serious as if you were renting a car, don't expect what you want to happen in the process to happen. Things are done in a particular way for good reason, you can read why and how in that agreement. The End: you can always flag down a forklift operator if you need help at the warehouse, one brought me a broom and dust pan after I accidentally dropped a glass lamp, and we talked about the new location and I am so thankful for this service being an option for what I needed, and of course pricing for local storage is best, interstate moves are like Hotel Rates: you never know how much, and good luck! read more

This is a completely unreliable company. I scheduled a POD for delivery to my business for 12/27 several weeks ago. PODs called me to ask for my cc# for payment. I received 2 emails from the sales rep confirming my drop off date of 12/27. Anytime I emailed the sales rep, she got right back to me. On 12/27 the POD was never delivered. I drove 2.5 hours to the job site and I scheduled a return flight home around the delivery. Again they NEVER showed up to drop off the POD. I called customer service who informed me that they were slammed busy and had to reschedule my drop off for 2 weeks in the future. Are these people kidding me!!?? They (PODS Moving and Storage) picked up the container in front of my house and the driver, not wanting to stand in the sun, parked his truck under my tree and then broke off a large branch when he lifted the container up to load on the truck. The PODS driver drove away and did not report the damage or arrange to have the large tree branch removed. I filed a complaint with PODS, but they state that when you sign a contract with them, you waive liability on their part. I filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) but they (PODS Moving and Storage) refused to respond back to the BBB. I had to arrange the removal of the branch and pay for the damage that they did. I made a long distance move from Nevada to California using POD's once again. This particular time my dinning room table suffered minor damage which I filed a $150 claim for repair. After approximately one month after the claim was filed, POD's notified me the claim would not be honored as damage due to transit/due to packing was not covered under the insurance. Be very careful when considering to purchase the insurance coverage, you'll pay for the insurance then your claim may be denied should there be damage...a way for them to make extra money I believe. I've never been so frustrated with a company. After being told that they ship all over, I temporarily moved from Oregon to Vegas where we stayed with our son while house hunting. We decided on Kingman,AZ but they don't deliver the pods there. So I had to rent a Uhaul truck and repack everything I own. I made an appointment at 8am when they opened as it was going to be over 110f. I wanted it done as early as possible. They didn't input my appointment into the computer. We waited a half hour for the first Pod. We unloaded that and then waited an additional 40 minutes for another pod. By this point it was well over 100f. After texting the office manager twice, they finally brought out my remaining two pods. This was Las Vegas in the summer. I should have used Uhaul to store my belongings. The below is a cut and paste from the email I sent PODS on 09/13/2023. Hello, I am very upset with PODS. I got into a contract for two 16 ft PODS In June 2022. I needed to move my belongings to Fort Mohave AZ 86426. I was having a house built there and my PODS were to go to storage. One POD made it to Las Vegas and the second was only moved there because of a call I place to confirm what the turnaround for delivery to my new house would be. I was told 7 days but that one pod was still in Perris California and that they needed to be together in order to deliver them to Fort Mohave AZ. So after paying $1564.00 the second POD joined the first one in Vegas. My house closed on Aug. 30, 2023 and I called to make arrangements to have the PODS delivered. I was told that they were booked up and they could not be delivered until Sept. 14th and that I would not be charged for another month because of the delay. On Sept. 12, 2023 I received a confirmation email about the delivery date of the 14th. On the evening of Sept. 13th yesterday I received and email and phone message at 5:30p.m. telling me that the PODS would not be delivered! WHAT? The warehouse does not deliver to my area. Please keep in mind Fort Mohave is 100 miles and about an hour and a half from Vegas. That the final destination was not cleared through the warehouse. REALLY! I was told I would need to bring my own truck and go to Vegas offload the PODS and take to my house myself. Its been 14 months that you have had the PODS and over $13,000.00 for delivery and storage fees. I am 65 years old and have made arrangement with family and friends some from out of state to assist me with emptying the PODS in my driveway. How can this be done to my two days before delivery? From day one you all knew about the end address of Fort Mohave AZ 86426. I could have gone with different company that would have followed through with the contract. On 03/19/2021, the local Pods company sent a power washing crew to clean the street. Obviously, not the same as what it was prior but better. Apparently this happens about once a month as part of normal operations. I guess we got lucky and would been happier if they just responded. I was moving to the Reno Nevada area. I asked for a quote and they told me one price. I asked got delivery and they told me it would be $1175.00 to transport it to Reno. After calling them and finally getting it scheduled a week later than I needed it. They charged my monthly storage fee and $2200.00 + more than they quoted. Do not use this company, extremely poor customer service when they are holding your Pod hostage. Find someone else... You contacted me and pretty much told me one price and billed me something else. Now you are holding my pod hostage. I would like my pod delivered, luckily for you, there is not a negative 5 or your customer agents would get that mark. read more

After spending $2500 moving from CA to Vegas, I can officially say this was my worst moving experience, specifically due to the Las Vegas location. Good luck getting anyone to pick up the phone.
