I had POD stored at the OKC location for over 3 years with no problems...called to get my POD delivered to my new home AR...a bunch of charges showed up on my credit card and I called twice and they said they would give me credit back on my credit card in January 2025...still have not received any credit, it's now March 2025. BTW... my leather couch got damaged from the May 2024 hurricane that hit their facility...the top right corner of the POD above the roll up door was cracked...nobody cares! read more

I would HIGHLY discourage doing business with PODS if you care about your belongings . We utilized them for an upcoming move and opted to pay more to store our pod in their climate controlled storage facility. We did this because they claimed additional protection for our belongings. This is the statement on their website: IS CLIMATE-CONTROLLED STORAGE WORTH THE COST? Items with a high value -- be it sentimental or actual -- should be kept in climate-controlled storage. The investment is worth the added peace of mind. After all, the point of storing your stuff is to be able to keep it around for later, right? If it's something you wouldn't keep in your garage, basement, or shed, it should likely be stored in a climate-controlled unit. Despite their claims rodents were able to access our POD while in their storage facility and unfortunately damage our belongings. Upon further inspection of the POD we noted the door was not secure on one side leaving a gap that provided an easy access point. We brought this to the attention of PODS and spoke with a customer advocacy specialist that "reviewed the claim" and determined they are not at fault. The poor customer service is not surprising given the lack of quality assurance measures they have in place to prevent these situations. We would have been better off selling our belongings, but instead we paid a monthly fee to store items that we would be unable to use. Rodent feces and urine also poses detrimental effects to your health. We were essentially delivered a biohazard. PODS is not willing to compensate us for the damage to our belongings and at the very least dispose of the damaged items in the POD. They have no respect for their customer's health or belongings. I have nothing but regret regarding my decision to use their company. Don't let the false claim such as the one that follows fool you. It's not an accurate representation of my experience. I used their moving service from NH to OK. They are very easy to navigate through the app to make any changed to your pod deliveries and pick ups. I have spoken to customer service multiple times throughout my moving process and they have been nothing but helpful. Donald Shells is a very polite and punctual driver. I had a great experience with PODS. It was easy to schedule the delivery and the pickup. We were given a 3 hour delivery and pickup window, and the driver called when he was on his way. He was there exactly when promised. It was kind of amazing to see how that pod was unloaded and loaded up! The driver, Darren Williams, was great, very efficient, polite and friendly. Also although we called about 9 days before our next billing date, they couldn't pick up until the day after we should've been billed. They gave us a grace period and didn't charge us for that month as they could have. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! read more

All I want is a total and each time I am told by pods reps over the phone or email or online I see different information. PODS Moving & Storage is holding my household belongings Hostage. I've reached out to The Today Show & Good Morning America, I've provided the emails below. Since I spoke up and shared my store more people are speaking up. This needs to go viral, I know there are a lot more people who have had problems and this needs to be fixed not just for me but for everyone. POD's is expensive and telling me they'll deliver and give me 2 hours to unload the biggest POD they have and charge me more money to do this. Or I can rent a uhaul or use my horse trailer and truck to pick my belongs up and make trips back and fourth (this is an hour and a half drive to and from the storage site) also if we keep it past the 2/28 date, we'll incur an additional monthly storage fee. All I can say is WoW, I'm so disappointed in the way they are treating people and they are suppose to be ranked #1 in moving. We have had a POD since August 2021, everything has been great up until the schedule to have the POD delivered to my new house in which I was advised that that wasn't a serviceable area and that I would need to submit a request for a request to see if they would move to our house. I was advised that it would take 3 days to get an answer, and Sunday was closed so add an extra day. I was also told if I got an email then that meant they would work with me, if I didn't receive an email it meant I was on my own. I decided this made no sense so I called back today to confirm this conversation. I was just told that even though the request was submitted that it would be a no and that I would need to get another means to obtain my house hold goods from the PODs storage center. I have moved from ILLINOIS to OKLAHOMA and have not seen my belongs since October 31st. I'm so disappears dumbfounded as I think this service is ridiculous and uncalled for. I will be looking into a lawyer and taking this to the media and social media. I've paid on time and now my belongings are being held hostage. This company is a joke. My father in law scheduled our pod to be picked up and delivered to our new address. They admitted the scheduling mistake on their end and yet they didn't change the pickup date. Will never use this poor excuse of a company again. I have called PODS numerous times today.. last week snow came and my 4 pods were pushed back a week. 2 on the 23rd and 2 on the 25th.. Ok considering the snowfall. Last night I check to verify I will get 2 today, verified , one at 9:15 and one at 12:15 (both times at the beginning of the 3 hour window. All good, I check again early this morning and call and verify that one will be at those times. 12:15 pm comes along and still no POD... I call first agent, "it's been moved to the 25th die to the weather (it's sunny, low 70's and no wind!!! I want to talk to a manager in the OKC facility, this is not acceptable, I have spent @ $15,000 on this, I have people here being paid to unload, I called last night (all good), I call this morning ( all good), I check for an update when the pod has not arrived after the 3 hour window had expired, "oh it's been moved to the 25th!!! BS Get me a manager, I can't do that, bs gets the manager in OKC, I will try, can't do!!! I spent over an hour with this person but again no manager. I want my pod today!!! Pay some OT and get it to me today!! I will send them an email and expedient the need to get the manager to call you.. No call, message or email, I call again and go through the same BS with another Person. Says about the same thing, that it is being expedited and someone will call you... then the line goes dead!!! And no call back!! I had even asked the kid to verify when the call started that he had my number in case we got disconnected, "yes we do" but no call back!!! Now I go on the website and see 3 being delivered on Thursday and no date for my 4th. At least the fucked up compNy could have given me a heads up about the expected delays today... at least someone should have ordered OT and got the pods to us... at least the requested manager could have called TODAY!!! No call!!! Terrible dispatch planning... terrible communication.... terrible problem solving skills, terrible damage control, terrible follow through by your managers and support staff. What a total nightmare it has been, over two months since I've used this poor excuse for a company, and I continue to get billed for a container that I DO NOT HAVE!!!!! Terrible service. My POD has been in my driveway for a week waiting to be picked up. I was told it is due to a driver shortage. I was also told the bill for monthly rental continues until the POD is picked up. That's convenient isn't it? When I complained they offered to refund that one month. Only after I asked for the removal. PODs volunteered nothing! When it was dropped oil was leaked on my driveway. The driver was extremely helpful and kind. We used Pods to move from Missouri to Oklahoma. The pods arrived 6 days later than I was told, we could barely get the doors open when it arrived. They must have dropped one of my pods because almost all of the items in that pod was broken beyond repair. I have had a claim open now for the late pods and now all my broken items. They are attempting to charge me more even though the pods were picked up today. I cannot get the claims person to call me back. This is ridiculous. The company claims that the pods are never tilted or shifted but its noticeably a lie in this case.... I literally just want refunded and the insurance on my pod to be given to me. I used pods to lower the stress of moving and it has only increased my stress and anxiety. I am beyond disappointed and will not ever recommend pods to another living soul. read more

No customer service options! If something goes wrong, they are not going to give you a good resolution. Our POD was schedule to be delivered to our new home this morning. We got a call and text before 6 AM with questions about our address. I texted them directions that a small child could follow. When the POD did not arrive, we contacted customer service. I was told the POD was delivered sometime after 8 AM; clearly that was not true, since there was no POD in our driveway. The person I spoke to, once she understood that it was not delivered correctly, tried to contact the warehouse manager as well as the driver. The customer service person ended up emailing the warehouse manager, since neither the driver nor the warehouse manager picked up the phone at her attempts. After 4 phone calls and over 4 hours, we finally discovered the POD was returned to the warehouse. When a supervisor (the only helpful person) finally contacted us, they rescheduled us for next week. So we will rearrange our schedules to accommodate their incompetence. This company does not have a mechanism for customers to obtain any real resolution using the current customer service option. I'm sure it is convenient for managers and executives, but completely useless to the customers and probably frustrating to their own customer service staff as well as the supervisors once they are finally involved. My husband and I made the decision to go with PODS because they are a nationally known company. You can rest assured that we are now wishing we went with a competitor. I really don't wanna get into this review because it raises my blood pressure. I ordered two pods want it to locations and I'll beach California. One was to be delivered to Oklahoma City and the other one delivered to Perry Oklahoma. About a week end of this they said they do not service Perry Oklahoma. I spent six weeks trying to talk to somebody there and the standard answer as someone will get back to you. they said they would never have taken an order for Perry' Oklahoma. When I believe happened is the order taker got in a hurry and entered the Perry' address and ZIP Code but the city was Oklahoma City not Perry. I kept asking them what how did you get the address and how did use it get the ZIP Code? I just had to pay the third rental payment because of these delays I hear there are other companies that do a much better job. Lastly they charge me an extra $1500 for each pod because everybody's moving out of California and all the parts are going out and not back in. Made and paid for an empty container drop off two weeks ago. The container was supposed to be dropped yesterday (6/9) between the hours of 12:15 and 3:15 pm. Got an email at 1:30 saying that I had rescheduled the delivery and it wouldn't be coming until 6/10. When I called and they looked into the situation, apparently the truck had broke-down and couldn't deliver (which I get). So I had a new 3 hour window for the next day (9-12 noon). At 11:30 still had not arrived and so I called. Now it is scheduled for a 3-hour window, between hours of noon and 3. When they can't be exact with a 3 hour window, I have serious doubts about them. They should at least bend over backwards to make it up to you. Moving is hard enough, and things need to be coming at the right time. I had everything scheduled around the pod coming on time - and was counting on it. A $25 refund is not good enough. I will likely not use their service again. read more
