Yeah we came back again for the brunch. They already have the outdoor seating setup in this spring. The mussels + frites were my favorite.

Really cute and classy European style cafe. Love the vibes inside. Went with my family for a quick lunch after my graduation ceremony :') We didn't have a reservation but we didn't have to wait too long to get seated. Once we ordered, the food came out fast. Everything was tasty and flavorful! We weren't too hungry so we only ordered three dishes/apps to share. I love the plating here so much -- it's so unpretentious which makes it really beautiful. Great spot for a lunch, but I'd come hungrier next time to try more of the menu!

Absolute favorite stop for Belgium beer and mussels are the best in the city and beyond! Lots of good choices! Frittes with basil mayo is tasty. Grilled artichokes very good. Love it here! Thank you to Breezy, our wonderful server!

My favorite mussels in the Pittsburgh let alone anywhere else I've traveled. Service is solid. Place can get busy and loud. Small business feel in a good way. They do not take a reservation so good place to go when you don't want to get a reservation but at the same time regular dinner hours can lead to waits. Also a big fan of their steak and frites. Their dipping sauce for the fries is like a garlic Aioli that is out of this world.

This is THE place to go if you love mussels. Tonight I had the red curry sauce and my friend had the traditional white wine sauce. And you have to have pommels frites with the mayonnaise dipping sauce. Heaven! The red curry had just the right spice. Our server was new and he did okay but somewhere between us ordering our drinks and actually getting them, something went wrong. We didn't get them until we were almost finished eating. He apologized and took the fries off our bill. The place is small and doesn't take reservations and it was consistently busy

Great service and great moules frites! The red curry has a slight kick and it's very good! The table next to us ordered the Mediterranean platter which looked amazing. These were very large portions and the staff were all very friendly. The food does take a little time to come out and I wished they gave you table bread while you waited. Warning that it's COLD inside!

This has been a spot of mine for a long while, but it's been about 2 years since I've been. The food was just as good as I remembered! We got the steak frites (you cannot leave without getting their fries and basil mayo) and we also got the Mac & goat cheese fritters. All of which were amazing! The service was not everything I had hoped, but at the end of the day you never know what is going on in the back of the house! Regardless - will be back!

Delicious comfort food. Warm ambiance. Really happy with our meal. Reminded me of my trip to Europe last year. I would highly recommend.

Seating is chaotic since there aren't any reservations and you sit wherever there is space. I had fried pierogis and a cold beet soup. Packed with flavor and excellent on a warm summer night. Food comes out pretty quickly and they're attentive in removing empty plate plates just as fast. Quite tasty! As meat eaters, we really appreciated this vegan twist! The pierogi's are an excellent choice for perhaps the less adventurous- yet does not disappoint! The stuffed cabbage was really yummy! And we enjoyed our appetizer- cucumber and radish salad with rye. It made me like radishes again! Simple and fresh ingredients, make for a tasty dinner. Can't wait to come back!

Toppings include whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, Nutella, Speculoos, Belgian chocolate, caramel, dark chocolate shell, and the business's small-batch flavors of ice creams. During my recent visit, an employee promptly and politely served me. I ordered one Ghent waffle for $6.31 plus tax and tip. The employee made the waffle fresh in a reasonable time. Some indoor tables and chairs were available, so I sat down to eat. My Ghent waffle was nicely chewy and was topped with delicious Speculoos/Biscoff shortbread spread and slices of bananas. I rate it as 5 stars. I decided to get the Antwerp with Nutella ice cream. It was just stellar. The waffles here are not the typical soggy grocery store ones. No, they are made in house and are liege waffles. So, more chewy and sugary with bits of crunch at the edges. The ice cream is also so so good. Super creamy. A pretty nice amount of Nutella flavor (could always be stronger though). Just really good and a really fair portion. When the two are paired together, it's just exquisite.

I've been a regular there since I moved in nearby, and from the start it was obvious that the people who work there sincerely care about making the experience nice. I've always been greeted with a smile, even during hectic weekend hours when the whole place is packed with a line out the door-- and even on the most full-house days, I've never been made to feel rushed. More than that, I always get the same thing there (I'm just a creature of habit-- every bite I've ever stolen from a friend's plate has also been delectable). The staff have picked up on this and will offer to get me "my usual" when I visit; it makes me feel valued and noticed, and they'll often use the time I would've spent ordering making conversation, asking about my day or the book I'm reading. I've never been to a place with such genuinely friendly staff, and I feel so lucky to live so close! Summed up: I never leave Cafe Moulin without a full stomach and a smile.

It was uncomfortable enough that I would have left , had my food not just arrived. The owner was around and seemed nice. This would have been a great experience were it not for the waitress being so unprofessional. If she'd apologized all would have been fine. Everyone has bad days or comes on too strong sometimes. The shakshouka was excellent though. I wish that I'd been more able to enjoy it, rather than leave feeling bad about myself.
