I was brought here by a friend. There was a long queue in the store. Apparently this is a popular place among CMU students. My first time trying out savory crepes - the crepes are soft and light, blended well with other ingredients. I saw them making cheese panini and they look so good, think I'll try that out next time. Definitely a great place for weekend brunch with fair pricing and menu. They also have a nice little back yard seating area, which is sweet!

Solid brunch spot in Pittsburgh! It's a really cute little cafe on Craig St serving up European style crepes, belgian waffles, and sandwiches with lots of savory and sweet options. I've been here so many times and tried everything from their belgian waffles to sweet & savory crepes to their paninis. Don't sleep on their paninis!! I think they're so good. I got a pesto mozzarella and tomato one, and it was fantastic. The bread was incredibly crispy and grilled nicely and the cheese was perfectly melty. It was also so filling, and lasted me two meals because I couldn't finish it in one sitting. For their crepes and waffles, their toppings are very customizable and they also have solid menu options that you can't go wrong with. Their belgian dark chocolate is amazing. All their ingredients taste fresh and high quality. All the savory options come with a little side salad too. I've also had their mocha, which is very very strong on the dark chocolate flavor if you're into that. They have indoor and outdoor seating on the back patio, which is really nice in the warmer months. Water is self serve inside and you're expected to clean up after yourself. When you order, you can see them making the crepes in the open kitchen in the back which is cool. Honestly I think this place is so underrated!

Crepes are delicious! This spot is crazy popular, especially when the CMU and Pitt students are in Oakland. It's not uncommon to see a line backed up to the door, so definitely stop in close to opening if you don't have time for a leisurely brunch

I know 'crepe' is in their name, but somehow their waffle was the standout here. It was airy and crispy and, dare I say it, rivaled waffalonia? I don't think we were given enough waffle for the price, but they definitely didn't hold back on the nutella. The crepes were also solid! They were crunchy on the outside and were just overall tasty. I feel like I'm always looking for the crepe itself to have more flavor, but I'd honestly come back for the crepe too. I appreciated that each crepe came with a salad and I can't deny that I love me some canned mandarin oranges. When we walked in, there were no seats available and they want you to order before sitting down at a table anyway. The kinda weird vibes we got were that the person taking orders was purposefully waiting a bit before taking our order so that people would clear out of tables and we'd have a place to sit. There's no way we can confirm this, and it all worked out in the end so no harm done--just the vibe we got.

Among the best spots for lunch on Craig St. Customize any crepe you'd like. But save room for the dark chocolate crepe. Adds a perfect finish to every meal. The main dining area is nice. They always have nice music. And on nice days, sit outside on the patio in the back. Service is efficient and keeps the food and tables moving.

The food at Crepes Parisienne is amazing. I have never had an average meal here. If there is a long line, it moves relatively quickly and is always worth the wait. The champagne vinagrette is hands down the BEST dressing I've ever had. I also love that the Chef/owner enforces his rules, he doesn't allow patrons to save tables before ordering and this ensures you are almost always guaranteed a table.

If you want the real thing! I mean the real taste of a French crepe this is the place to go. The owner trained in France and you can taste tbe difference. They have a great patio in the back. The is perfect for an afternoon brunch.

I ordered salmon crepe for dine in and had an allergy attack due to buckwheat, which was not listed on the menu anywhere. When I inquired the waiter, he rolled his eyes at me and said yes there is buckwheat in the flour and I should have told them about my allergy when I order. I questioned him about buckwheat not listed on the menu, however he was being very aggressive and said "do you need us to call 911 for you?", which was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked if they can change to something that does not have buckwheat in it, he rolled his eyes and said no, then walked away. At the meantime, I was having allergic reactions and was not breathing well. The waitress came and inquired about my allergy multiple times, and she offered me waffles and a refund. She also apologized for the waiter's rudeness and said she would talk to him about it. The overall experience was awful, and I don't deserved to be insulted by the waiter like this under any circumstances. Especially when they did not list ingredients on the menu and blamed me for not asking. The waiter kept saying that all crepes restaurants have buckwheat flour, but I have never been to any that use buckwheat. Terrible experience. I threw up and was sick for the whole day after this incident.

Upon entering the restaurant, there are crystal chandeliers, bright colors, French posters, and a lively atmosphere. The restaurant had a lot of potential until we experienced the service and cuisine. I brought my Supper Club here, and we had a group of 8 of us. There was also a very large group at the restaurant. We were neglected on several occasions, and it took us 2 HOURS just to get our food order. That's not an exaggeration. Our waitress was rather snippy with us, and ended up apologizing at the end but it did make for an unpleasant experience. When we finally received our bread, we were so hungry that we scarfed it down despite it being not so great sour dough bread. Every dish was flavorless and left us wanting more. I had to send back the steak on two occasions: once for being undercooked and once for being overcooked. I ended up getting my meal for free. The Coquilles St. Jacques had the smallest scallops without the lovely scallop shell its usually served in. The shrimp cocktail tasted like anything you could get at the grocery store. The Nicoise Salad was just sad and flavorless. The porkchop and escargot had the most flavor. I will definitely not be back to this establishment. Our group did enjoy each other's company, and it created a very memorable experience even though it was an overall bad experience!

I was last at Point Brugge in April 2022, when the grub and warm welcome were well-worth the price. I'm not sure what has happened since then, but if my most recent experience is anything to go by, SERIOUS changes have to be undertaken at this once gem of Point Breeze for it to justify the equally serious price increases that have gone by since then. The food: BLAND and prepared without care for the customer. To start off, my companion and I both got the "soup du jour." It was tomato and onion cream. Completely mediocre and far too sweet. I could've bought a prepared soup at Trader Joe's of the same quality. For our mains, I got a $36 (!) salmon with fried veggies and lentils. The fish was OK (it's hard to wreck good salmon), but the veggies were positively DRIPPING in oil and the lentils were salted to all hell. I could not finish the latter. My companion ordered a $16 vegetable sandwich and specifically requested no red onions. Guess what? The sandwich and its side salad were chock-full of red onion slices. So much for customer service. The restaurant: GROSS. The remnants of mussels and other food items were LITTERED all over the floor of the "top" area of the restaurant. The walls are full of cracks; the paint is peeling; and where the drywall meets the floorboard, AVERT your gaze! Giant, gaping holes pepper the entire lower part of the wall, as if positively begging for a rodent infestation. How is this up to code? The service: UNFRIENDLY. I think we were served by the manager. He had sort of a strange attitude and cadence, and only asked us anything about the food BEFORE we had started eating the soups. Consider asking us after we've finished something? I think he was mad that I had only ordered a water. Sorry! Alcohol is bad for you, and I for one wasn't going to slurp down a sugary "mocktail" next to all those oily mushrooms. Next stop? UPMC Presby. Apart from him, the staff was underdressed and loud (although, for what it's worth, a bit friendlier). However, I prefer to know if I'm interacting with a paid employee or a freight train driver who has just gotten off a 16-hour-shift driving on the CSX mailine. I get it: nobody is expecting you to wear a tuxedo in 2026. But let's at least try to outdress the most casual of customers, no? Considering Point Brugge was once a place I took people from out-of-town to show off the East End, this is a sad, sad fall from grace. I will NOT be going back, and, as long as they don't get their act together, neither should you. Not in this economy. $36 oily azz mushrooms...

Fantastic vibe in there as well, cool lighting (although something from up above kept falling). It's a highly acclaimed place for a reason. I got to try their beet soup (borscht), tea, potato pancake, and rice pudding dessert. The menu changes decently consistently I believe, and I did visit a little while ago, for notice. The food was very tasty. Huge potato pancake that was cooked perfectly with a nice topping of what I can only describe as vegan sour cream and some sort of very flavorful vegetables. I quite liked it, surprisingly tasty and creamy topping. Now the borscht, which I tend to be picky with, was just okay. The number one detractor for the borscht was the salt level. The food is just far, far too salty (the pancake was pretty salty too). Other than that, quite good. Love the side of rye. The dessert was very good. Surprisingly light. Came with a little caramelized baked fruit on top (apple/pear, something like that). Rice was reasonably creamy and very flavorful. So good! All in all, a nice spot for a nice dinner. Especially great for vegans. However, the food did taste too salty for my liking.
