We love Poke in Love! It has a nice variety of choices from bowls to bentos. Pretty reasonable prices and quickly prepared. You can customize your dishes to your liking. The shop is small, seating for about 12 people max. Mostly a carry out shop. Friendly counter service. No water cups so you might need to buy a beverage from their fridge if you want to wash down your meal. Came by to grab some Poke, and this place fit the bill! The food was fresh and flavorful. Very simple, but well made dishes. Prices were reasonable. Interesting that it's not the Poke you find at All About Poke, where you can load up on toppings. This is very simple where you get the poke, rice and 2 sides. They also have some rolls you can get. Ordered the rainbow roll that was good. Food is made fresh, and was about a 15 min wait after ordering. Not bad. Only minus 1 star because this was actually the 2nd time I tried to go there. The first time, I got there at 7:30 (they close at 8), but when i walked in, they told me that the last order was at 7:30. It was literally 7:31, and they didn't want to take the order. Not a problem, as it was their choice, but I then had to rush to find somewhere else to get food that evening. Glad I finally made it in, and I'm happy to return again in the future. Very good food! Friend and I got veggie items and they did not hold back on the tofu. It's a cute restaurant for a quick bite for any palate. Our server was Aaron and he was so sweet! He was very polite, offered free soup to every customer, brought out food for us, and was going back and forth between the floor and kitchen to make sure everything was okay and that food came out on time. I was NOT in love with their poke. It was very expensive for almost no food. I went with my friend and they messed up her order TWISE. They also forgot my sides. When we asked them to fix the orders they RAN out of the building MULTIPLE times. They also kept accusing us of voiding the order. Then they read someones credit card number OUTLOUD, asking if it was my friends card. WOULD NOT recommend because there are tons of other BETTER places in Montrose. read more

I was in the area for work and wanted to grab a quick bite before my appointment. I pulled in to this parking lot to hopefully find a place on my phone but I saw this place and took my chances. Their restaurant was very modern and was designed really well with a lot of cool ideas. I loved their menu and found the perfect meal. I ordered the spicy tuna bento which comes with tempura spicy tuna roll, teriyaki chicken, and cucumber salad. It was so delicious and was the perfect amount of food I was looking for. A few days ago, while looking for an Asian restaurant close to La Crescenta, I stumbled into this special location. I entered the restaurant and immediately encountered one of the loveliest interiors. Before I placed a purchase, I was also warmly welcomed and engaged in a lighthearted conversation with the cashier. Then, I ordered the Unagi sushi and the Salmon Lover, both of which met my high expectations quite well. Order from UberEats California Rolls - Not consistent with the ingredients or size. A lot of rolls didn't have an equal amount of avocado and cucumber and some didn't have any at all. Out of 16 rolls NONE were the same. Very sloppy. Gyoza - were actually good. Potato Salad - was a gamble to order since no description, picture or ingredients of item was provided, it wasn't a hit with us. Oriental Salad - again gamble but wasn't bad. Wish they would have provided a description, picture and ingredients of item as well. Cali Roll Bento - not bad little better with the consistence of ingredients of rolls. Edamame - not bad but definitely had a handful that were empty. Crazy Boy Roll - inconsistent with ingredients again but not terrible. You eat with your eyes and their pictures look good. We are so excited to have a New Poke Place in our neighborhood. They are located in the Vons Shopping Center next to the Boba Shop. One employee said I'd be paying with cash since I had a $20 bill out. There are at least 4 tables inside. Music played through the speakers. Chairs were stools. A small plant was placed on each table. They seemed real. One table had 2 chairs on each side. Tables were grouped together. There are tables outside. Natural light filtered through the floor to ceiling windows. I could feel the AC inside.
