Im from anaheim and drive up here to try the sushi and it was honestly amazing. The service was great and quickly got everything I needed. The oysters and sashimi were sooooo goood and tasted so fresh. The sashimi were large thick pieces and the marbling on the salmon were so good. The sauce tasted like kung pao should but it was all water chestnuts and onions with lots of hot peppers. There were literally and I mean literally two pieces of green pepper. It seemed pricey especially after experiencing the quality. Frankly, we tried the Chinese food after seeing the sushi prices. Sorry to say there is little impetus to return. read more

I've been here several times, and keep coming back for their kung pao chicken and lo mein noodles. We always order sushi rolls too and have yet to be disappointed. Very nicely rolled and have always been fresh. Each plate is on average $16-18 ish dollars and so we will usually order a few and share. Today it was just 2 of us. Today we ordered the mixed version of kung pao chicken ( I can't remember what it's called) but it includes chicken, beef and shrimp and it was delicious.They slice the chicken and beef nice and thin so it's very tender. We also ordered the Black Jack Roll, house Roll and a California roll. I'm getting hungry all over again. The staff has always been nice enough, always young people trying to cover all their tables and never rude. Today the guy made an extra effort to come check on our table and it's appreciated but I'm not one to fault the restaurant if they don't. I've never been a server but I believe them to be under appreciated and so far not had a negative experience here. I just want to say that this has been my go to place for take out for many years. Today I had the worst food I have ever had. The sushi rolls fell apart. The salmon skin hand roll was inedible.
