This place has some seriously delicious food. The staff is always friendly and accomodating of special requests. Today, we had the lobster special and it was fresh and well prepared. It made us greatful to have a place closer than Chinatown to eat this dish.

I've been here several times, and keep coming back for their kung pao chicken and lo mein noodles. We always order sushi rolls too and have yet to be disappointed. Very nicely rolled and have always been fresh. Each plate is on average $16-18 ish dollars and so we will usually order a few and share. Today it was just 2 of us. Today we ordered the mixed version of kung pao chicken ( I can't remember what it's called) but it includes chicken, beef and shrimp and it was delicious. They slice the chicken and beef nice and thin so it's very tender. We also ordered the Black Jack Roll, house Roll and a California roll. I'm getting hungry all over again. The staff has always been nice enough, always young people trying to cover all their tables and never rude. Today the guy made an extra effort to come check on our table and it's appreciated but I'm not one to fault the restaurant if they don't. I've never been a server but I believe them to be under appreciated and so far not had a negative experience here. Anyway, if you're looking for good Chinese and Sushi, definitely come check them out. Ooh and they have garlic edamame which is always a plus.

So many people I know go to eat here. I finally went for the first time. The hot and sour soup was so so good! I would go back just for that. I also ordered a couple of sushi rolls. Very good food and service. Recommend.

Hi everyone, thank you for all of your concern. I've received texts and calls from customers asking me to explain what was going on, and that has meant the world to me. The building still belongs to us and we are fighting back.

The wings were huge, perfectly seasoned, crispy, and fresh out of the fryer. I'd order them every time. My only small criticism is the pricing. Some dishes are on the expensive side. The Peking Chicken is around $30 - but personally the quality definitely help justify it. Overall, I'd happily come back, especially when I'm craving that chicken. ---------- Quick tip: this might be something worth asking about. I overheard another table request a couple of dishes as half portions, which I thought was a great idea. I'm not sure if it applies to all dishes (they have a huge menu with a lot of options), but it could be worth asking if you're coming with a smaller group or want to try more items without ordering full portions.

This place is basic, nothing fancy and there's really no ambiance or special feelings associated with it - it's just an old-looking sit-down and serve establishment. The few people sitting to eat were random; I was there to order to-go. After asking what was the patrons favorite dish(es) the lady quickly pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. Of course she did. My eyes rolled but I was polite and decided to order something I recognized and wouldn't hate myself for in the morning. Chicken Teriyaki Can of coke My bill came to $34.23 Ahem! What? Why does a plate of Chicken Teriyaki cost so much? And why $3 for a can of coke? I just cannot wrap my head around it. This isn't a fancy restaurant at all! In fact, it's as basic as it gets with no ambiance or warmth. I cannot recommend this place at all. The food was pretty poor and nowhere near on par with classy eats that try to reach that $$ figure. Montrose is certainly a place where there are people with money and no taste...looking for reasons to spend it willy-nilly. I thought I took a photo of the plate when I got home. Guess not. I didn't get checked on much at all but the kimchi beef tofu soup was good, a little on the plain watery side, and the sides themselves were ok. Total price was $16.99, ~$18 with tax. As mentioned by others, don't expect BCD tofu house here - but for being outside of K town this place is just OK. The inside is nothing special but it gets the job done and it's cozy.
