Stopped by for some lunch, service was very quick and staff was extremely kind. Small location yet a few tables available inside to dine in. They helped break down the menu for me, ended up choosing the small bowl with two proteins. Added white rice base with spicy tuna and regular tuna. They allow several toppings, I personally chose edamame, seaweed salad, imitation crab, ginger, spicy mayo, eel sauce and furikake to top it all off. The flavors mixed well together, I do have to say their ginger was abnormally spicy so I didn't eat too much of it despite usually loving it. Around 16$ without tax for the small bowl but they did pile on the toppings and provided decent serving of fish. Their thai tea is very balanced as well! The poke here is phenomenal! So glad my friend encouraged us to split a poke bowl from here because it was one of the best meals we had at Topanga Social today. Poke is pretty standard out there nowadays but when it's fresh and done right it can be a hell of a good meal. Poke Me is located towards the back of the food court in Topanga social towards the actual shopping mall. The signage was easy to see and I love a good long counter displaying all of the toppings and proteins. The menu was easy to navigate with steps following in order. I really liked the amount of fresh toppings, fish, and sauces they had. The gentleman that helped us out was very nice and thorough. I appreciated that he didn't skimp on the servings and moved quickly to keep the line moving. We opted for a large bowl which includes five scoops of wish. We added a lot - crab salad, spicy tuna, regular tuna, and salmon. For add ons I know we did extra cucumber, seaweed salad, green onions, and ginger. For the sauces we did ponzu, eel, and spicy mayo. Final topping of dried seaweed flakes at the end. The bowl was packed and looked beautiful (see our pictures lol). Yes the bowl was $20 and I can get where that might seem steep. But honestly where I normally go a large poke bowl is about $17-18 and they don't load it up here like they do. I loved that all of the ingredients were cold and fresh, a perfect cooldown to the hot summer weather. I'll gladly pay these prices for a tasty meal and truly it was a large portion. She stood there talking for at least 7 minutes while I stood at the register waiting for her to take my order. She never acknowledged me. Chose this place out of the MANY options located in Topanga Social. All of this for less than $20 including tip. This place is the healthiest option I found at the Topanga Social food court. This place honestly hands down gives the most gigantic portions I've EVER seen for a poke bowl. I got the 4 portion bowl and it was around $20 and after I ate as much as I could sitting at the revamped food court I took the left overs home where it looked like I hadn't even touched it. So worth your money!!! It really feels like you get 2x bowls in one for $20. Plus, the ambiance is very hip, cool, and young here. I've been meaning to try this but it's tough with all of the other amazing options at the Topanga Social!! Finally went and got it for dinner the other day and oh my god, this has got to be my favorite poke place by a long shot. I looked at the menu and waited for the cashier to finish up with the customer in front of me and shortly after, he happily took my order. It's a bit tough to see the menu on the far right side and end of the options. It almost makes sense to have the menu in front of you while you build your bowl because I kept having to step back and look at the menu.. Other than that, I went for a small bowl which is honestly plenty and the perfect amount. I got white rice, seaweed salad, avocado, double tuna, pineapple, yuzu ponzu, roasted garlic and pickled ginger. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Delicious flavors all mix and paired well together and I love that they scatter everything for the most part. Sometimes having it all in sections makes it a little harder to eat for whatever reason and most of the time, I'm left with way too much rice. I wanted to love this place more but just didn't. This is a small bowl and cost about $20 after tax and tip. The fish was good but not great. The sauces were not amazing and that was sad. The scoops were small and the choices were limited. I was disappointed that there weren't more topping options as I love masago. Our server just layered all the ingredients in the bowl and drizzle only one sauce out of 7 that they have on the menu that day, which was just ponzu and the funny thing is the server didn't drizzle it on the fish she did it over the rice. I'm a little torn on Poke Me based on my last experience. I felt like the quality of the fish was good, but they had such little variety as far as proteins and toppings that I wasn't that impressed. The counter top was also super messy. Toppings were all over the place. Overall impression of the biz earned 3 stars I got in line and when it was my turn, the server looked at me and waited. There was no intro of how the process worked. In fact, the menu that did have the instructions was on the opposite end of the counter and I couldn't read it. Not a great design. When I went they only had white rice. I went half and half with mixed greens. Got the tuna (was just ok), salmon (good) and octopus (actually really good- not chewy at all). Bowl was a hefty portion but you definitely pay for it. Poke Me wasn't that different from all the other poke places I have tried. After finishing watching a movie at AMC I decided to swing by Topanga social for lunch. I'm a big Poke fan so decided to try Poke Me. Standard poke fair where you choose between size (usually determined by scoops), base, toppings etc. I chose large which is 4 scoops - got two salmon and two yellow tail - with a base of brown rice and toppings of sesame salad/crab (you're only allowed two). For sauce I got ponzu and spicy mayo. For dry toppings I just wanted crispy onions but they didn't have any. The food was fine but the spicy mayo lacked flavor. The 3 star review is really for: Customer service - The person assembling my bowl kept talking to the coworkers. During my order. Not only was I just standing there waiting to give my order for my bowl to be assembled but at one point they needed to re-ask me what I wanted because they had spent so much time talking they apparently forgot what toppings I asked for. To be clear I asked for two. You're only allowed two. So they talked so long they forgot the two things I said. Then at the very end when I went to pay, just dumped it on the platter with a fork..... even though I said I wanted it to go. Price - Look, I get poke is a luxury item and other places a "large" bowl usually does run like $18. So $20 at topanga social is kind of an understood markup. But $21.90 after tax (and before tip) for the portions I got was really disappointing. On top of only being allowed two toppings. We've eaten at every poke spot in the west valley and tried Poke Me for the first time tonight. The fish was good quality, lots of options, delicious sauces, and friendly customer service. We also had the opportunity to meet Garnett (one of the Topanga Social managers) who genuinely cares about the customer experience. After walking around for a few minutes to see what options there are to eat at the Topanga Social I decided to get poke while my family got other things. First of all on a busy Sunday there were only two employees working. While one person was standing by the register the other person was making poke bowls on a super slow motion. There were 4 people in front of me and 3 behind me. And this guy was just taking his sweet time while the other one was standing her hands folded and waiting to charge customers for the food. WOW just WOW... I couldn't believe it. Anyway my turn came after 15 minutes and I got my poke. Two large pokes with three protein and other toppings was $43.80 (the topping options were very limited unlike any other poke places) they did run out of albacore tuna and they didn't have salmon so I ended up with spicy tuna only.
