Shoutout to Daniel and his wife Makayla for an amazing experience. I've honestly never been the biggest poke fan, but my sister comes here every week and finally convinced me to give it a shot. Since I'm not super familiar with poke, they were kind enough to let me sample the sweet salmon and spicy tuna -- and wow... some of the best fish I've had in my life. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. The ingredients, components, and sauces are all top-tier and you can tell there's real care behind every bowl. It was so delicious that I ended up ordering a large bowl and added the shoyu tuna too. The spicy mayo and habanero sauce paired with the eel sauce were absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was fire. From the hospitality to the food quality, this place completely won me over. Definitely going to be coming back all the time. read more

Not a huge fan of poke but this place is really good! The service and staff were amazing. I wasn't familiar with the process of ordering but the staff patiently walked me through all of it and made some great recommendations. Seriously, they were so friendly and welcoming. Super GLAD to have come here while we were craving for some POKE!!! The interior of this spot was refreshing and clean, with clean booths and tables to sit down in. We were planning to just do takeout, but the space was very nice that we decided to dine in! The lady was very friendly and gave great customer service. The ingredients all looked very fresh and were very tasty in my bowl. The servings were very big and felt very much worth it in price. A large has 4 servings of protein and the base choices include brown rice, white rice, and greens. - Customer bathroom located in the back! - Easy and free parking lot Poke here is excellent and also it's very convenient to have your phone number used for rewards here because they have other branches and also text some deals every now and then!!! read more

I came here with my husband for the first time. Our favorite poke place went out of business so we are on the hunt for our new favorite place. The employees were so nice and helpful. We explained it was our first time and she was so sweet helping us. Every request was answered with a yes! Parking was easy and the food was good. I didn't love how small the fish was cut up but it tasted fresh. The inside is small so I recommend take out and it was also warm inside. If you sign up for the rewards on your next visit you get something free so I'm excited to come back and try that. All in all I had a great experience and will go back to try other fish as I just got salmon. read more

Excellent poke! Just a few years ago you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a poke spot but that trend seems to have passed and there are only a few left. Even if it's not trendy, it's still delicious and simple if done right and it's done right here. I ordered through Yelp for pickup at the restaurant and the process was simple and my order was ready when I arrived ten minutes later. Service was friendly and helpful and the food is DELICIOUS!. The fish and the greens were very fresh and the sauces are great, especially if you're brave enough to try one (or more) of the spicy sauces It's not cheap, but nothing is anymore and a combo meal at a chain restaurant drive through is only a few bucks cheaper Totally recommended and I would gladly return read more

I have been a regular since my last review. The new employees barely give me food when I order making it not worth it for me. I understand being particular with the fish portions as they are pricey but nit picking about the rice. Really?! I asked the trainee for more rice and instead of giving me more, she said "that's the portion I'm suppose to serve". I do not like it when I don't have anything to eat my fish with at the end of my bowl. I have to use leftover rice from elsewhere to eat my fish. Please teach your trainee to not be stingy with rice! I was so sad to see the canoga park location close down, but then pleasantly surprised to find out a new location opened so close to me! it's conveniently located in a large plaza with plenty of parking! the inside looks new and clean, with some indoor seating. i was the only one in the restaurant, so there was no problem ordering! the two ladies helping me were very nice. i ordered a regular poke bowl which has 3 protein! i'm dinging a star because i truly feel like the scoop of fish is so tiny. what makes up for it is the variety of sauces and toppings! their slogan is raw explosion and i think it lives up to that. i will definitely be coming back to try their poke tacos! i noticed they also had spam musubis and boba which is something i haven't seen at other locations. read more

Super flavorful poke! I would say the sauces are why it tastes like a flavor bomb which is awesome and they give you HUGE portions which makes it a bang for your buck! I got a small and it was so filling. For fish, it wasn't the freshest salmon I've ever had or as clean as poke I've had in Little Toyko (ones that are near fish markets), however I definitely believe this is some of the best poke around Woodland Hills. read more

I gave this place another try after seeing the response from the owner on my previous review, thought maybe it would be different. Same situation, bunch of mumbo jumbo. Everything mixed together, including the sauces. It's really a bummer to get a soggy mess once my delivery arrives. The restaurant should give the option to put the sauces on the side, it didn't but I assumed the sauces would come on the side as EVERY salad/poke place puts sauces on side when ordering delivery. After being a regular, I haven't gone there in a while due to my most recent experience (which was last year), and also several reviews I read mentioned the fish did not seem fresh. If a poke restaurant does not have fresh fish, that's basically game over. I hope this place is not closed/closing and hope they can turn it around. I really loved the bowls under the previous owner and went there almost once a week. Hope they can make it work and make poke bowls like the customer prefers (which seems like most prefer not mixed). I really want to comend this location for going up above and beyond and improving over the past year since being open, my first experience here was not great as the woman that was working was very distracted and on the phone and had me wait almost 2 minutes before taking my order and the fish was just not fresh But I understood that it was a brand new location that opened up, recently I went back a few time and Ive had an exceptional experience every time the workers are always very welcoming and patient and the fish and portions are always amazing!! I'll preface this by saying that I've been going to the Woodland Hills PokiTomik location for a while now and have had pleasant experiences many times. However, during my last visit I was hit with something new - additional fees simply for wanting more of a single topping that already come with the purchase. The large bowl comes with 7 toppings and I asked for 7 toppings. It just so happened that I didn't want 7 DIFFERENT toppings and only wanted more of the same one. Nowhere on the menu did it say there would be additional charges for getting the same topping nor did the staff inform me that there would be a charge BEFORE laying the toppings on the bowl. They just gave the toppings as usual and then when it came time to pay - surprise extra charge! If I knew there were additional fees for getting the same topping I wouldn't have gotten it. The staff/owner then tried to justify the charges by saying "well I have to buy more of this [product]". Excuse me, but don't you have to buy all of the products? If I got other toppings you'd still have to buy more of those other toppings (????). This has NEVER happened before so I was extremely shocked and confused. If you're going to have these rules about toppings or whatever, at least inform your customers beforehand and don't hand them a surprise bill after the fact. read more

To preface this, I am currently eating my delicious bowl as I am writing this review. I wish I got the gentleman's name as he was helping me, but he was extremely helpful. A small has two scoops of protein and a regular has three which is so much food, I ended up with a small bowl with my choice of two proteins and set it up the way I like. I was suggested customer favorite sauces which were delicious and even a little side of hot Cheeto crumbs to try it out. I truly appreciate the gentlemen for helping me because my bowl is delicious and my craving on a hot day is completely satisfied. This place is so good that I went back the next day to have the exact same thing for dinner two days in a row. Then went back again a few days later. I love the way they season the proteins and the way you can customize your bowl any way you want. And they are more than generous with the portion size.
