    Poke Large Bowl

Fresh, delicious food at reasonable prices! Everything tasted great, and the quality was impressive. The customer service was excellent too--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the food they serve. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty meal, good portions, fair pricing, and great service. It's always nice to find a spot that delivers on both food and hospitality. I'll definitely be coming back again soon!

Not a huge fan of poke but this place is really good! The service and staff were amazing. I wasn't familiar with the process of ordering but the staff patiently walked me through all of it and made some great recommendations. Seriously, they were so friendly and welcoming. I also came in towards the end of the night after their big dinner rush and was still treated with the upmost respect. I will definitely be coming back!

Super GLAD to have come here while we were craving for some POKE!!! The interior of this spot was refreshing and clean, with clean booths and tables to sit down in. We were planning to just do takeout, but the space was very nice that we decided to dine in! The lady was very friendly and gave great customer service. The ingredients all looked very fresh and were very tasty in my bowl. The servings were very big and felt very much worth it in price. A large has 4 servings of protein and the base choices include brown rice, white rice, and greens. - Customer bathroom located in the back! - Easy and free parking lot Poke here is excellent and also it's very convenient to have your phone number used for rewards here because they have other branches and also text some deals every now and then!!!

I came here with my husband for the first time. Our favorite poke place went out of business so we are on the hunt for our new favorite place. The employees were so nice and helpful. We explained it was our first time and she was so sweet helping us. Every request was answered with a yes! Parking was easy and the food was good. I didn't love how small the fish was cut up but it tasted fresh. The inside is small so I recommend take out and it was also warm inside. If you sign up for the rewards on your next visit you get something free so I'm excited to come back and try that. All in all I had a great experience and will go back to try other fish as I just got salmon.

    Fresh and Quality!

What an amazing Poke spot! I've been to many and even lived in Hawaii to know the Poke love.. Been eating poke for years, and just found this Pokitomik in Woodland Hills and Wow! Great people, the owners and staff are phenomenal. The Food is fresh, organized and quality! Tasted so good, and I was so happy to go here and enjoy tasteful Poke! Lots of parking and clean facility. The options are easy to navigate and the menu is simple. Also the BEST Pokitomik I have ever been to compared to many I have been.. This place is now saved on my go to spots for sure! So come swing in and enjoy a quality service and meal done the right way! Thank you guys! -Rommel

Great local Poke option I recently discovered. My wife likes the bowls, I like the burritos. Burritos are big, delicious and picture worthy. The owners are really nice. I reccomend it.

This time we were able to get a table, and I'm glad we came back. The service was good overall. The staff was friendly, and while they could've been a little more attentive at times, it didn't take away from the experience. The food was delicious. I ordered a baked roll that was around $15, and while I really enjoyed it, I do wish it came with a few more pieces because five pieces felt a little light for the price. Flavor-wise, though, it was great. I also had the yellowtail roll, which I really enjoyed, and the hot sake was solid and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which gives it a cozy feel. Overall, it did exactly what we were looking for--a good, casual sushi date night with tasty food. I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.

And not a great chain... within a stone's throw is Joey and also Second & Saint and they expanded and are nice places so Katsuya should go take notes. The pro's: Lots of nice staff. Never had to look around for someone, food came out relatively quickly. The prices were not crazy... Salmon Tasting (4 pieces) was $19, Toro was $20 for two pieces. Small Asahi was $6 (beer was cold but coulda been colder). The con's: It's kind of tired... as a chain and as an individual restaurant. This is an OK spot for a high schooler to take a date. Katsuya used to be the "cool kid" in Studio City years ago, but now it feels like a tired chain My wife came out of the rest room and commented that the floor was impressively sticky (not drop of molasses sticky but like she could hear it loudly sticky... and this was 20 minutes after they opened so I'm guessing it's a permanent condition) There were 14 of us waiting for it to open at noon. At least three people wondered where the line ended and people that were familiar with the place said that "they kind of let every one in at the same time" ... but people who had arrived later were still inside before people that had arrived earlier. Not a big deal (unless the sushi bar counter fills up quickly) but so easily avoidable. I've been through this at other places and waiting to board an airplane, etc... I just want to relax in line and not constantly be micro-analyzing who is jockeying for position like it's the starting line in Pamplona. The sushi itself is so-so. Smallish pieces of toro on meh rice. The Salmon Tasting was four (smallish) pieces of assorted salmon and had decent flavors. We thought we would try this one because we already knew the Katsuya in Encino was meh but this is our last time to Katsuya.

They offer both a regular and premium menu, and I'd definitely recommend going premium; the additional options are worth it. If you love yuzu and garlic oil, don't even read the rest of this--just drive on over. Their lunch special runs until 3 PM on weekdays, and the lunch menu is the same as dinner, which is a nice bonus. The restaurant has a modern look with wooden paneling and strip lighting, making it feel like a great date-night spot. There is ample parking as it's situated in a larger shopping plaza. Another thing I really liked is that sushi items come one piece at a time, while rolls come as four pieces, so you can try a much wider variety without getting overly full on one item. It's perfect for an AYCE menu where you want to sample as much as possible. We ordered from the premium menu and everything we tried was chef's kiss. They did seem to be having a bit of an off day with the service. Some of our food was delayed, and orders placed well after ours were coming out before ours. Our server did apologize and mention they were having some issues in the back but everything eventually came out, and it was very good. My favorites were the Ama Ebi (sweet shrimp), the Japanese scallop (which practically melts in your mouth) and the Yellowtail Cilantro Roll. Overall, if you're willing to spend a little more for better-quality AYCE sushi, Kizame is definitely your new spot.

I ordered tamago sushi for my toddler, and it was clearly spoiled. It's likely about 3 days old based on how far off it had gone. Not what you expect to be served, especially for a young child. Then, despite sitting down at 7:30pm, we were asked to leave at 8:30pm while my girls were still eating their ice cream, because the restaurant had other guests waiting (Wasn't the time limit two hours, not one?!). I tried to make the best of it and had my girls carry their ice cream out with them, but in the rush, my toddler dropped hers and burst into tears. It's disappointing to see a place we've loved start cutting corners on food quality and rushing loyal customers out the door. What happened, Kizame?

Having been to the studio city location and enjoying, it's no contest in terms of parking ease (just $7 valet, so $10 LOL) diverse, creative menu items, roominess (at least twice the size here), still a few open tables at all times to enjoy without super cramped environment and just generally blew the doors off pretty much any other sushi joint near or far. Started with the Exclusive menu...not to me (I wish) but a smaller paper menu with specials. The FatherKels Roll, my goodness, what a start. (Weird name comes from, as my son told me, some Instagram chick or something, the usual nonsense.) I couldn't care less if it was named the Long Island Lolita Roll, it was literally the pinnacle of rolls, the Mt Everest if you will of rolls. Then ordered a bunch of rolls from Yellowtail Cilantro, Green Dragon, Citrus, were all one better than the other. Super melt-in-your-mouth, good fish ratio, immaculate sauce parings and fusions harmoniously dancing in your mouth as your tastebuds get orgasmisized to oblivion. You'd think something as simple as a mushroom soup wouldn't warrant any praise...NOT HERE. What a soup, one of the best I've ever had. (Please get this). Everything we tried ranged from A to A+, and the bonus kicker, they have a Yuzu, yes YUZU sauce bottle on the table. Good luck finding that anywhere in the country without begging for it like a little bitch HAHAHAAAA Even the wasabi was so fresh and course ground, I mean just every box was checked and boxes you didn't even know ever existed. Needless to say, one and never done; will be hard-pressed to eat sushi anywhere else again...yes I'm not joking. It's not cheap, blew 90 bucks a person all-in but worth every dollar plus interest.

The ceviche was good--no complaints there. Unfortunately, the other dishes were disappointing. The poké bowl was mostly vegetables, with very little tuna and rice. It felt like only about 5% of the bowl was tuna, so they really skimped on the main ingredient. The lobster roll was also lacking in lobster, and the bread-to-lobster ratio was way off. The service was equally disappointing. Our server forgot to put in our drink order, and I had to remind her, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. After we placed our food order, we waited over 30 minutes for it to arrive. Meanwhile, we watched several tables that were seated after us receive their food within about 10 minutes. To make matters worse, we happened to visit on a hot day. The restaurant is completely open-air, but there were no fans or any noticeable airflow, making it very uncomfortable. Overall, we won't be returning. Between the tiny portions of protein, the poor service, and the uncomfortable dining environment, the experience wasn't worth it.
