Decent spot for poke but I found the fish bland. Also they give too much rice and not enough fish. I came by for lunch on Thursday around 1:30 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. Parking is easy in the garage and is free for the first 1.5 hours. The ambiance is nice, feels like a proper restaurant rather than a casual spot. There's outdoor seating as well when the weather is nice. You can either go up to the counter to order or order at the kiosk. They offer a variety of signature poke bowls, but I chose to build my own for $16.60. It comes with your choice of two proteins as well as up to three bases and up to 8 toppings. I got salmon with the miso sesame sauce and sushi rice, plus a variety of toppings. It was definitely filling, as they don't skimp on the rice and toppings, but I wish there was more salmon. Also, the salmon tasted super bland; I could barely taste the miso sesame sauce. Overall Sweetfin is a decent spot for poke but I wasn't super impressed.

Everything looked fresh, colorful, and beautifully prepared. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the bowl was really good. Nice spot for a quick, healthy meal.

Get $5 off if you join their rewards program! I tried their spicy tuna burrito and it was tasty! Well made burrito and the proportions were nice. I liked the lightly toasted finish. Of course I wished there was more tuna in my burrito. They serve it with an oil crunchies on the side. It has a nice ambiance with outdoor seating. Service was friendly and quick! You can create your own bowl or burrito as well.

Sweetfin is one of my favorite poke spots and I love that they have a rewards program via Thanx. I prefer to make my own poke bowl and I LOVE that I can add up to 8 toppings. No judgment that I put 4-5 servings of seaweed salad either. Their truffle sriracha mayo is otherworldly and I do recommend getting it on the side so it doesnt make your bowl too thick. The guava lemonade is a great drink and they use crushed ice if that's something that's important for you. The homemade taro chips are crispy and while I'm not a fan of the wasabi spice it's definitely a unique spin on it. I like to order these in the combo for $19.95 as their bowls are already $16.60 so it's really not that much more to get it. Overall, a 5/5 poke spot that I'll always recommend. (8/50--2025)

Sweetfin.... You DESERVE a little Poetic Justice! But First... Everyone: Grab a life vest (for safety)... Bring your best fishing pole... And let's Go Fishing for some Poké. Now drop your line, give an occasional jig to your rod and let's go trolling to see what we catch.... (10 minutes later) Just keep swimming Just keep swimming -Dory Oooh..... I think I caught something! Let's reel it in to see what we got. Ahhh man! Just another Yelp Poem from Lance L. Well, let's see how it measures up and we can determine then if we want to keep it or just throw it back into the Sea of Yelp. ------------------------------ The one thing about a bowl of Poké Is that you can never really get enough, The hardest part is choosing the ingredients This part can be really, really tough. Do you go with the prized Yellowfin Tuna Or play it safe with Salmon as your choice, For those that want Tuna, Salmon AND Shrimp Be sure to ask for it in your Big. Boy. Voice. There is absolutely no room to be timid When you are in front of a Poké display, Just know that if order multiple premium items You better be ready to cough up that pay. You can choose from 7 Signature Poké Bowls The only decision is what you want as your base, Spicy tuna, Gochujang salmon & Mango albacore Are the ones that I want in front of my face. I for one am all about building my own bowl Loading it up is as simple as One, two, Three, 1) Top It. 2) Sauce It. 3) Base It. Pretty simple, Don't you agree?? Besides all of their ingredients being Fresh It's their core values that resonate with me, Sustainable, Earth Conscious, & Ethically sourced At Sweetfin, this is their 100% Guarantee. So hurry up and come get your Poké on Grab a wooden spork or chop sticks if you dare, And if you get a white chocolate yuzu Rice Krispie You better be ready to tear off a piece and share. Oh and by the way... You can take off that life vest now. ;)

I tried this place multiple times and my very concern was the rice. It wasnt cooked properly and it was hard to chew. Now I saw a new salmon bowl promo and I decided to try again. The bowl was good, well balanced ingredients, tasty and the rice was cooked properly. Decent place with decent food - try it at least once

You're looking at 5$ dollars worth of fish and mango!

You're looking at 5$ dollars worth of fish. The amount of food you get is infuriating, employees are not to blame, but I don't know where corporate's are looking...

I've always heard of Sweetfin, but this is my first time trying it. Poke is always good, but the amount of fish can be disappointing. Unfortunately, Sweetfin reconfirms this theory, although it was filling enough especially if you're trying to be healthy. I got the large BYOB Poke Bowl ($19.09) with bamboo rice and citrus kale. Also picked salmon and yellowfin tuna for protein, black garlic gojuchang and spicy miso for sauce on the side, and 5 free topping options: crispy garlic, cucumber, jicama, radish, seaweed salad, and mushroom. The sauce is definitely needed as there isn't much flavor in the bowl without it. While the bowl is yummy, it is overpriced. I definitely wouldn't pay for this on my own as it was part of a company lunch order. Also ordered the Iced Matcha Tea ($4.79), which was quite forgettable. One thing I do find that Sweetfin does differently is their rice base options. You don't see the forbidden rice, bamboo rice, cauliflower rice, citrus kale, kelp noodle slaw, and seaweed salad.

But when it comes to the food and the service, it is absolutely 5 stars. The poke here is excellent. The flavors are fresh, well balanced, and clearly made by people who know what they're doing. This is professional poke, not just a random bowl thrown together. Every ingredient tastes fresh, and everything works really well together. The prices are very reasonable for this area, especially considering the quality and the portions. You definitely get good value for what you pay. What really stands out is the service. This is my third time eating here, and every single time the staff has been incredibly generous. When I asked for three proteins, they gave me more than expected and did not charge me extra. That kind of generosity is rare and very much appreciated. Overall, great food, great service, and fair prices. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for high quality poke and friendly service.

As a mom recovering after my third C-section and caring for a newborn, I was looking forward to a simple meal that would save me from cooking and lift my spirits a little. I've always enjoyed seafood and poke bowls, and since I had ordered from Poke Bar before, I felt confident placing a delivery order. When my order arrived, everything appeared sealed and packaged properly. I opened my poke bowl and started mixing the ingredients when I suddenly pulled out a long, dark, curly hair from the food. What made the experience even more disturbing was that the hair did not appear to be a typical strand of head hair. Visually, it looked more like hair from a private or intimate area, which made the situation feel especially unsanitary and upsetting. At that moment, my appetite was completely gone. The sight was absolutely disgusting, and I could not bring myself to continue eating. The entire meal had to be thrown away. What made this even more frustrating is that I spent over $30 on this order and was genuinely looking forward to enjoying it after a long day of caring for my family. Instead, I was left feeling disgusted, disappointed, and concerned about the restaurant's food handling and quality control practices. I understand that mistakes can happen, but finding hair in a meal is unacceptable. If you order from here, I would strongly recommend checking your food carefully before eating. Unfortunately, after this experience, I have completely lost confidence in the quality and cleanliness standards of this establishment.

The flavors mixed well together, I do have to say their ginger was abnormally spicy so I didn't eat too much of it despite usually loving it. Around 16$ without tax for the small bowl but they did pile on the toppings and provided decent serving of fish. Their thai tea is very balanced as well! Not too sweet and brewed like a traditional thai tea. Will definitely come back!

This is one of the few Mitsuwa that doesn't have a food court (San Gabriel is another one without). The premade food section was surprisingly pretty good, better options than the Torrance or Santa Monica locations, imo. They do carry the same poke bowl that is also sold at Torrance. The store closes at 9:00pm, so the premade food section is pretty much cleared out and the self checkout is closed by around 8:00pm. The late hours actually got the busiest because only one staffed cash register was open and customers had to get in line instead of the self checkout. The store is clean and spacious, lots of self checkouts that are open during the day, and the bathrooms were clean (just need to get the code from a staff member!). I came three times on a weekday, once a little after lunch and another right around 5:30 and then around 8:00. Parking was a breeze every time. They have plenty of parking adjacent to the store. The other side of the shopping center gets a little busy, but Mitsuwa is at the comfortable corner closest to the train tracks. Getting out of the parking lot can be challenging because Tampa is a busy street and some people try to make a left turn out (I have my opinions about that lol). If heading out towards CSUN, the shopping center also has two exits out to Nordhoff so that worked well for me. I was in the area for a few job interviews... If I am hired nearby I'm definitely coming to this Mitsuwa a lot :)
