Their systems were down, though I found it interesting that Uber eats was still functional. Technology fails at times so no problem. Then I learned that they don't take cash. I have a problem with businesses that do not take US currency. I also respect business owners rights to do what they wanna do, but I want business owners to understand that decisions have consequences. Since you do not take United States currency, and you must use plastic at your restaurant, unfortunately I will not be returning no matter how good your food is. Just thought I would share! If you are looking for poke that is actually like how it is in Hawaii, this is the perfect spot. This is a small establishment with both outdoor and indoor seating. Theres a fair amount of parking in the back which is nice. The fish tasted fresh, sauces were very flavorful, and toppings paired very nicely with the fish! It didn't take them long at all for the food to be ready. I love how it's all incorporated with the fish just like how it's done in Hawaiian style poke. I love the fact that you can pick between salmon or tuna, or a mix and that you can add either rice as your entire base or mix it with any of their salads (mine was an incredible cucumber salad). I always eat the Lil Ahi Poke JT's style, and it never disappoints. The staff is so kind and welcoming, often remembering me and my order. It's genuinely a great experience. 4 stars because of the price. I feel like every few months it gets more and more expensive. For my small bowl (one scoop of poke and one scoop of white rice) and a drink, it's $17.50 + tip. Definitely a good place to eat if you're not starving, as the portions would be too small (unless you get a pound, which would be upward of $35). I got the traditional spicy poke bowl with ahi tuna and didn't want to change much since I was trying this place for the first time. Although the portion (small) looks tiny, it's rather filling! The Poke itself was tasty. I'll probably try another next time.
