Half and Half Poke w/ carrot and cucumber

The poke was okay but for close to $20 for one person was expecting a lot more overall. I did the half tuna half salmon which was okay but I've had better locally at a similar price point. The rice might just be a different style but it was a little too soft and almost mushy for my liking. It also took nearly ten minutes to come out which seemed a bit long when they didn't seem super busy and I would think everything is premade. It might just not be my style, but definitely not a spot I would look to come back to.

This is a chain restaurant. Each of the Poke Poke I've been to have the same menu, great service and fresh food. There is plenty of seating inside and out!

My wife and I had gone to Hawaii in March of this year and had some amazing poke. We were inspired to find some good poke here in Austin. Poke-Poke was VERY satisfying. I had never heard of it or even driven in this area before. Definitely a gem in this neighborhood. The ambience gave us a "vintage" feel--like it deserves to be functioning somewhere near a beach. There's not a lot of seating inside, but they do have tables outside as well. We were lucky enough not to come during a lunch rush. The woman who took our order was very kind and professional. My wife had the "Lil Poke with a brown rice base and the Aloha Poke recipe." I had the "50/50 Poke with a white rice base and the OG Recipe." Both were delicious!!! The fish was fresh, the rice was soft, and it was all super flavorful!!! We were very impressed. Portioning was also just right--I didn't leave feeling super full, or still hungry. We'll definitely be back when we want our poke fix!!

Love coming to this spot when I'm in the area. The poke is by far the best in austin. The store is a little small but there's seating both inside and out and makes for a great lunch spot. The staff is always super friendly and have good recommendations. The price is about what you would pay at any other poke place but I find that most places will add more sides and rice than fish. Here the protein is what stands out! I recommend anyone in Austin come check this place out if you want true poke.

I stumbled upon this hole in the wall eatery yesterday and I'm glad I did. As a native Texan who lived in LA for two years, I became very fond of all the yummy poke on the West Coast. Poke-Poke satisfied my craving for authentic and delicious poke. Their menu is a bit confusing but the staff will gladly help you out. The dining room is not open right now but there are a couple of outdoor seating options to enjoy your poke in the sunshine. I am excited to return back to this establishment and try more of their delicious poke. Maybe next time I'll try their fish on weekly special.

I was craving traditional poke - not the kind with all the toppings and barely any fish. This hits the spot if you're looking for quality Hawaiian-style poke. The restaurant itself is very casual and you can definitely tell most of its business is to-go orders. We ordered JT's poke and the Yowza Yuzu. Both amazing. The sauces add flavor without completely overpowering the fish. We will for sure be back.

Love this place only draw back is sometimes the rice isn't made right. Today is one of those days. The rice is a little under cooked so has a tough crunch to it. With that being said the flavors are always amazing and the service is super welcoming. I love this place being so close for my lunch breaks.

I've been here a few times. It is a traditional poke spot. I love both types of formats here though. You get a great amount of food and it's fresh and melt in your mouth. Not too many menu choices so it's not overwhelming. Very friendly people working there to help you navigate the menu also. Not super cheap, but honestly why would you want that with marinated fish!

This is a cute local poke place that really gives off authentic Hawaiian poke vibes. You can tell that it's different from other chains partly because of its simplicity. The owner was super friendly and was very happy to answer any questions we had! There are 2 portion sizes, but honestly they don't seem like too big of a difference? But I could be wrong. The small portion size fed me and kept me somewhat satisfied. I heard the tuna was excellent, but the salmon for me was okay; it wasn't the freshest type of salmon that melts in your mouth. Considering we're in Austin, which is land locked, I think it was pretty good! I would like to try the tuna the next time I come here.

Tasty, fresh, and fast. Much more healthful than most other lunch options. I haven't found another Poke place in Austin that compares.

From the original Sushirrito in San Francisco, to Foodland's poke fare in the islands of Hawaii - I've been there and done all the things. So I'd like to think I know what good poke tastes like: fish tasty enough to eat on its own, sauce that complements rather than overpowers, and just the right amount and flavor of toppings to bring a unique twist to each bowl. One can get a little nerdy about raw fish and I hope to submit my master's thesis one day. Customization is an integral part of the poke experience, and who am I to tell you what to order. Some people don't even put any sauce on their raw fish - and like pope Francis said "who am I to judge that person?" You choose a base (white rice, brown rice, salad, half and half, seaweed wrap, or hot Cheetos wrap), pick a protein (number of scoops determines the size), choose a sauce, add as many mix-ins as you want, and then add toppings. PROTEINS - Choices include classic ahi tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp, tofu, and the weekly special. All of the proteins we tried were fresh and the scoops are about 2 ounces each. SAUCES - Choices include house, spicy house, Korean chili, soy ponzu, garlic miso, sweet ginger, sesame shoyu, and citrus. Descriptions and nutrition information for each can be found on their website. MIX-INS - Choices include corn, cilantro, crab, cucumber, edamame, jalapeños, onion, pineapple, red cabbage, scallions, and seaweed salad. Avocado is an extra $1.50 but you can choose any or all of the others listed included with the price of your bowl. TOPPINGS - Choices include chili flakes, furikake, garlic crisps, ginger, onion flakes, sesame seeds, shredded nori, tempura crisps, spicy mayo, wasabi aioli, and wasabi. You can choose any or all of the toppings included with the price of your bowl. I absolutely LOVE how customizable the bowls are! A lot of poke restaurants limit the number of toppings or charge extra for a majority of the items but this was pretty much all-inclusive. I was able to make my perfect bowl for one set price and left feeling full and satisfied! I randomly stopped here for dinner after searching on the map for a healthy and quick dinner option but it's now one of my favorite places! It can be hard to find nutrition information for a lot of restaurants so I absolutely love that they have it available online. If you love poke, it doesn't get much better than Poke House! Poke House is a really good "go to" for a great poke bowl…read more First, the staff is always patient and really helpful! That is important when there are so many options to choose from. Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall. Trust me on this, Poke House does the job! I've been to this location at least a dozen times. Not once, was I disappointed in the quality and service. I'm so glad that this place is so close to me! Job well done! When you get that tip option on the screen, do what you see fit. Please consider the patience and kindness of the person building your lunch or dinner.
