Just go and try it! Fresh and delicious poke bowls. I had the spicy and spicy tuna bowl--both were packed with flavor and freshness. Highly recommend!

First visit and not the last. My wife and I were getting boxes from the nearby grocery store and were getting hungry. We saw Poke Time across the parking lot and said why not? So we did. Good choice. It was early so it wasn't crowded. We ordered a crab and shrimp bowl with everything. It was warm, tasty and almost addictive. The server/cashier was polite and professional and helped us whenever we asked. The restaurant is clean, modern looking and organized. Overall, a terrific experience and one that you should try out soon!

My husband and I decided to come here and I am happy that we did . Best decision ever. I've never had a poke bowl before and I definitely will be back. I decided to have the General tsos with the salmon , with white rice , cucumbers , carrots and it came with Hawaiian sauce and ginger sauce. It was very delicious and I thought it was reasonable price as well, it was $13.50. Definitely come here and check it our for yourself.

Love this fun Poke and bubble tea place. It's like a chipotle or subway for poke where you order at one end and follow the server along the counter to customize your bowl. The bowl is generously sized enough for two meals (for me) The fun part is the selection of bubble teas. So far, my favorite is the jasmine green tea passion fruit smoothie with bubble, though I've also enjoyed the oolong latte and green tea latte. Price is very reasonable for the poke...about half what I pay at my favorite Japanese place

Poke Bowls have been my new thing and so glad I found this location. Their bowls are fresh to order. You can choose one of the ones they suggest or build your own. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place itself is very clean and they are recycle friendly. I'm now a repeat customer! :)

Been here a bunch of times and it's always so good and fresh. Really love stopping in. This time I got spicy tuna, spicy salmon and crab salad over zoodles. Excellent topping options as well. This review is for Allendale location

New poke spot? I'm there! For the price point and the variety they offer, I really enjoyed my meal here. I particularly liked the peppered tuna, which I've rarely seen (if at all) at other poke spots. Toppings were generous, which is always a plus when you build your own bowl. Plus, plenty of sauces to choose from! Seating was on the smaller side but since this is a fast casual joint, shouldn't be too big of a deal especially if you're just grabbing & going. And plenty of parking in the strip mall. Can't complain about anything. If I'm ever in the area I'll swing by again.

2 Protein Bowl- I did salmon/tuna, white rice, avocado, jalapeño, toasted garlic, ginger, with spicy Mayo and ponzu!

Update to my earlier review from 2024…read more We dined in for the first time on a spring Friday evening at around 6 PM and we were pretty much were the only ones dining inside for a majority of our meal. However, they were plenty busy with takeout orders. Service was quick as the waiter took our order down and our food was out within MINUTES! I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which was a pretty good ramen considering they weren't a restaurant that specialized in ramen. The ramen was very tasty and like any other I've ordered from legit ramen restaurants. My wife ordered a custom poke bowl, which we've ordered many times before for pickup. The bowl was MASSSIVE and seemingly much bigger than what they typically give for takeout orders, although their takeout poke bowls are very generous too. For our kids, we ordered the House Special Fried Rice, which came with eggs and Chinese sausage. It was a solid fried rice and we were quite surprised it came with Chinese sausage because it's an ingredient we rarely see used for fried rice entrees at restaurants. Overall, our dining experience here was good and we loved that it was nice and quiet. It never got super busy, but a few parties did come in after us. The bread and butter of their business is definitely takeout though.

So when an opportunity came up to meet in the vicinity of this restaurant, I brought myself and two guests to experience the poke in person. It did not disappoint! Nestled among a smaller shops in a strip mall off of Market Street (off of North 5th Street), Waikiki Poke & Ramen is a place definitely worth stopping by. There's ample parking in the surrounding area of the strip mall so it's a small walk towards the restaurant. Once you enter you are greeted with an Instagram-able wall, with various colored posted that guests can write and post messages. It was fun reading through them and leaving some as well in the end. The restaurant is small, quaint, and cafeteria style, the counter where the Poké bowl ingredients are visible is well organized and clean. A nice selection of Japanese teas and other drinks are available to enjoy with the meal as well as bottled water. The price is on point for Poké bowl of their size and the Sashimi-ed raw fish, and the vegetables were all fresh and delicious! My guests enjoyed it well. I was so excited to visit the place then I couldn't help myself by letting them know how much I enjoy their food and how many times I've ordered online. I wasn't sure if they understood me because they didn't seem very interested? In any case I still enjoy the food, but I think it might be better to just order it online for me as it is quite a far distance for me to drive to enjoy it in person. Overall, we were able to enjoy our meal slowly as we had much catching up to do.. The shop was not particularly busy during its lunch hour so the food was ready quite quickly, which was impressive. I would rate this as 5.0 for the food but 4.5 for the customer experience aspect. It is a recommendation that they at least acknowledge or interact with people who expresses positively for enjoying their food. Because this is not an open food court situation and it is in a restaurant even after you paid for the food and sat down and eat it it would be nice for them to also interact in some capacity just felt a bit standoffish in my opinion.

However, we do love Korean food and search it out from Connecticut to Delaware. In fact, I love Korean food so much that, while I'm a vegetarian, I will always try the Korean BBQ when we find a new place (sorry cows). Follow up visits, I go back to tofu options. Anyway, Seoul Express is more like the newer casual type of KFood that's become very common in the NY metro. Geared towards takeout with just a couple of tables, the menu is paired down to bowl style meals with mainly Korean flavors, with a few other options thrown in--such as poke bowls. My husband and I got the Japchae (sweet translucent noodles with vegetables and bulgogi beef and the Dolsot (hot stone) Bibimbap which is an option if you eat in. Both were excellent. The Japchae was very much more of a commercial American taste than a traditional sit down old school K restaurant--if you've ever had it at a BonChon Chicken you know what I mean. But the hot stone bibimbap was amazing. Exactly like my favorite version of the dish ever at a small family Korean restaurant in a Parsippany strip mall that unfortunately didn't survive Covid. The accompanying goojujang (spicy red mixing sauce) comes in a small takeaway container but they're happy to give you more if you're the type who likes to squirt half the ketchup bottle of the stuff into your bibimbap (like me). Bergen county has amazing KFood options and we drive there all the time from Hunterdon County just to get some. Seoul Express just put Passaic County on the KFood map. And being casual, the prices are reasonable. You have no excuse not to try it.
