In the area after coming back from the Kennedy Space Center, and saw this spot. At first I was a bit confused because I didn't realize it was a food truck nestled behind a brewery. Fortunately, there is ample parking, and the vibe of the location is mellow and chill. There are a total of five food trucks here, with PokeKai being one. I opted to get the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl and the Crab Rangoons. The Crab Rangoons were filled with more crab than I expected and the sweet and sour sauce was a nice addition. The poke bowl was fresher than I expected and did not disappoint. Just a FYI it is a bit on the pricier side.

Not starting off so great, 30 minute wait when they aren't busy and I just got a simple dish. I should've walked away when another customer stepped in front of me to ask about his order. After waiting a half hour I came and stood by the truck, only then did they actually make my order. There are other food options at this location so maybe skip this place.

Great poke options, the bowls are flavorful and large. The star of the show is the poke burger. Awesome flavor and huge! Bring a napkin to the best bite of the day!

When a friend showed me a photo of the poke burger from here and told me to try it, I knew I needed to. I'm very thankful to that friend because this is the best thing I've eaten this year. It's been a month since we came here and I'm still thinking about it. I got it with tuna because that's our favorite poke fish. The crispy rice patties made the perfect bun. The sauce was delicious. It was perfect. I wish I didn't live across the country because I want to be able to get this poke burger way more often.

The poke tots here are ! Good portion size, lots of fresh ahi and guac, and the rice tots are fried to perfection. Def will be back to try more of their menu!

A little on the pricy side, but very delicious! I had never had a poke burger before and the concept interested me so I knew I had to try it. SO GOOD. The patty is a fried up crispy rice and is amazing. Salmon was super fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Located in a cute little spot with several other food trucks to check out and there's plenty of seating. Service was quick too. Would recommend!

First time at A La Cart and I decided to try PokeKai! It did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked well; I absolutely loved the teriyaki sauce. It was a generous amount of food as well. The food was done in about 10 minutes. They give you a buzzer so you're able to hangout with your group while you wait vs standing by the truck. That was an added bonus!

PokeKai is a food truck located at A La Cart, a food truck & craft beer open-air establishment. I have always been a big fan of PokeKai, but it has been a couple of years since I have been there. Today I went for lunch and felt disappointed by the quality and customer service. My friend and I placed our order, and after 20 minutes, our pager vibrated. We thought the food was ready, but it was just to let us know they were out of salad, so we needed to select something else as a base. After that, we waited another 15 minutes to get our food. The place wasn't packed. I feel that they should have told us that they were out of salad when we ordered to avoid the long wait. I picked white rice as my base and it was mushy. My friend ordered quinoa as a base and that was good. My go-to has always been the spicy ahi tuna. The tuna was fresh, but the overall flavor of all the ingredients together wasn't there. I remember going to PokeKai before and always being greeted by kind and friendly staff. Today it wasn't the case. They may have new owners? Not sure, but something has changed. Also, keep in mind prices have gone up significantly for the portion. On a brighter note, I love A La Cart's concept. The open-air idea, food trucks, and craft beer in one place is cool.

I'll admit, it's pricey, but expect food truck prices. I went during burger week and had a salmon poke burger...it was amazing. When I read rice cakes as the bun, I definitely expected a crunchy hard to eat sandwich. But it's a soft rice patty, tempura fried. The flavors were just great. It's in a cute food truck food court, seems it would be a great date night.

Located in a cute food truck park, this spot serves yummy food. There's a few food trucks parked and seating scattered around. There's an indoor portion in the beer hall, but majority of the seats are outdoors. I especially like their sushi burger. If you like crispy rice, this place makes a great "burger". It's tuna or salmon poke served with kani salad and avocado. Filling and satisfying! The food is fresh and made fast. It goes perfectly with the beer they serve. Also, they give free crab rangoons if you leave a review. Seating can be difficult depending on the time you get there. We came on a Friday night and there were no seats. We lucked out when a table was leaving, but most people stay and linger for awhile. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!

The freshest poke I've had in a while and it was from a food truck! We tried a variety of items and my favorite was probably the poke burger with crispy rice buns and fresh salmon filling. Everything was so delicious and I loved all the sauces that were used. The portions were also very generous, and I can't wait to try more items from their menu soon. - Krab Rangoons - Truffled Tuna Baos - Brie Paradise - Mau Loa Salmon - Salmon Poke Burger

People, you have to try the Poke Burger. The crispy rice bun was definitely unique, it held up well and I was surprisingly satisfied with my first poke burger. The burger even looks like it was smiling at me, waiting to end my curiosity. This "burger" had enough of your choice of fish (tuna in salmon) avocado, krab & seaweed salad, sriracha & eel sauce. Got the salmon and will come back to try the tuna.

I also loved their fresh cucumber pickles. Minus one star because unfortunately the place wasn't kept very clean. The staff were very patient and did the most to identify the gluten free options for me. They told me that they have gluten free versions of all of the sauces, including soy-based! If you're really strict, I would double check about cross contamination, as I found a piece of another topping inside the wasabi that was added to my bowl. Also, my friend had the fried chicken and felt unwell after. Overall, it has the potential to be a great poke option. To Poke Hana, I highly recommend you clean more the customer area thoroughly especially since you're working with raw fish and need to present a certain image.

The place has a couple pre-made options as well as a build your own bowl. It's $13.99 and you can get two bases (white rice/forbidden rice (an apparently healthier rice thats black)/spring greens), two protein, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, 3 crunchies and 2 spicy add ons included in the $13.99. You fill out a little paper and they make it for you. It did take awhile for the lady to build our bowls but I guess since it isn't Chipotle-style where you point at what you want, it makes sense. You can walk around the meat and cheese market for a bit while you wait though. However, if you're not there for meat or cheese, there's not much else to look at except a small collection of sauces, crackers and drinks that you can get at a regular grocery store. The bowl was a good size honestly. The container they give it in is a little large so it looked lacking when we picked it up but it actually contained a good amount. I think the most commendable aspect is that they give a lot of fish/protein. The poke isn't bad. I got the sriracha mayo and garlic sauce on my bowl and I think they paired well enough. The forbidden rice isn't bad either. I got both the white rice and forbidden rice and they taste almost the same tbh. The veggies are fresh and refreshing. Overall, not a bad bowl of poke.

For the first time we visited them at their Gatlin Hall Brewing location and it was delightful! They had a special fish tip with toasted pita that was on point. And my poke bowl was loaded with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Another win is that there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so we could enjoy our bowls fresh... no need to tote them home. The service was great and fast... and he did a beautiful job constructing our bowls. The only reason I can give them 5 stars is because it's located inside a brewery that feels like a bar and it's not an elevated experience. Don't really love eating with single use plastic and a pub table. So go for the food and don't worry about the ambiance!

Tucked inside East End Market on the first floor, this walk-up counter spot keeps things simple and fresh. I ordered the 2-style poke bowl ($19) with the Lava Flow Tuna and Hawaiian Tobiko Salmon (contains nuts) over rice. After ordering, I grabbed a table in the courtyard, where there are plenty of umbrella-shaded seats that make for a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. The standout here is the freshness. Every piece of fish was thick-cut, buttery, and incredibly clean-tasting. The Lava Flow Tuna is lightly torched, adding a subtle smokiness that complements its sweet, savory glaze with just the right kick of spice. It was rich and flavorful without overpowering the tuna itself. The Hawaiian Tobiko Salmon was my favorite. It had a rich, buttery texture, while the tobiko added little bursts of texture and a subtle briny finish. Nothing felt overly sauced or heavily seasoned, allowing the quality of each ingredient to shine. At first glance, the portion looked a little small, but it ended up being the right amount to leave me satisfied without feeling overly full afterward. At around $20-ish, it is on the pricier side for a poke bowl, but considering the quality and freshness of the fish, I walked away happy. If you're already visiting East End Market, this is an easy recommendation, especially if you're looking for something fresh, flavorful, and lighter without sacrificing quality.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday, and fortunately, they still had everything we wanted available. We've heard stories of them selling out early in the past, so we were glad we came when we did. When we got there, there were only 2 parties ahead of us, but with only one employee working, it took a little while to order. The employee seemed a bit flustered trying to manage everything on his own, so I think having a second person working during lunch would make the experience much smoother and faster. We ordered the One Pound Party Pack with Spicy Yuzu Tuna, Hawaiian Tobiko Ahi, Spicy Salmon, and Miso Sesame Salmon. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful, and we loved being able to try several different varieties. That said, we would have liked a little more rice for the amount of fish included. I also think more topping options, like avocado, mango, or cream cheese, would add some variety and make the poke feel more customizable. Our meal came out to over $40 before tip, which felt a little pricey for the amount of food we received, but the quality was definitely there. I would most likely return when I'm in the mood to splurge on some really fresh poke, but for me, it's definitely more of an occasional treat than an everyday lunch spot.
