The food is fresh and tasted amazing. Friendly staff that was very patient with my family as we tried to figure our meal out. It was very clean and well taken care of. My only recommendation is to lock the back door. As a customer and only two young employees I felt a little unsafe. One of the better poke places in Oviedo in my opinion. I got the Poke Your Way bowl with two proteins, love their options. The seaweed salad here is also fresh (not soggy!), and the portions are great for the price. We sat outside since the weather was nice, but I usually do pickup, and it's always on time. I wish there was a zero star option. The portions were horrible I got 3 slices of cucumber. The only thing they give you a lot of is their bland rice. Masago is extra which is fine if they didn't give you a literal tsp of it. The salmon and tuna is ok but definitely some weird pieces. To top it all off the staff was extremely unfriendly and had us sit in bar stools because they closed off half the restaurant (they didn't want to clean it 2 hours before close) . This was my first time trying pokéworks. I've had poke before and I didn't like it, but I had a zupp for here so I was like why not. I'm so glad I gave poke bowls another chance because this was soo good! I got spicy tuna and spicy salmon, but I messed up getting the Spicy Serrano Aioli as it was too spicy for my liking. When I went it wasn't busy at all, and it was nice and quiet. The girl that helped me was super nice I wish I remembered her name, she brought my experience from a 7 to a 10! First time customer, traveled 25 miles for take out. I order my bowls very plain. Salmon separate on the side, no sauces. I was super disappointed when I got home and opened up my container of what I thought was plain salmon reeking of sesame oil. I despise sesame oil, the whole bowl was basically a waste. I tried washing the fish off but the smell/taste was overwhelming. I didn't see any indication of sesame oil on the menu, so I do not understand why it was prevalent on my plain fish. I am so tired of being disappointed and throwing my money away. If you have a sensitive palate, I would skip this place. read more

Ambience is fine. The food there is so good that what I'm very passionate about what I'm about to write here. The customer service is so incredibly bad. I'm a big tipper and I I love this place so I come by pretty often and leave a tip. But the last few times and from now on, I can't bring myself to tip because every time I go there I get no hello no eye contact and they are overall so so upset when they set up my bowls. A few weeks ago, I came in 30 minutes before close which I know isn't great when you pre-closing, but it's not a terrible time to come. I asked the kid taking my order if it'd be an issue to make me a poke burrito and he really didn't wanna do it, like he sighed at my face and told me it would take 15 minutes to make so I wouldn't order it. He took five and wrapped my burrito terribly. Today I asked for a burrito again, and the girl taking my order gave the girl next to her the "bruh -_-" face. The food is fresh and tastes great. Serving sizes are good. Unfortunately the service is very disappointing. We've enjoyed coming in as a family because the poke bowls are very tasty and portion size is good. The customer service is poor. Every time we have come in this year, the staff seems irritatated or annoyed by the customer regardless of how polite or appreciative we make ourselves known. The staff rushes customers in line even if you are the only customer in the restaurant. The staff will either (what seems intentional) over sauce the bowls even when you asked for a light sauce or forget to provide the sauce on the side the customer requested. If we try to avoid too much sauce by asking for it on the side the staff appear annoyed and fail to pack the sauce into the to go bags Customer service unfortunately is what will keep us from returning to poke works. read more

I thank my friend for bringing me to this place for the first time as the food was so flavorful! I wish we had as good of an experience. As I am new to the place and new to poke bowls I didn't know what I wanted; I had to stop and ask my friend what the item was - upon asking I realized that it was something I wanted, when I asked the server (Raven) to add it for me she ignored me, and rolled her eyes very obviously. I felt uncomfortable at that moment and was ready to leave - I couldn't even enjoy my food at that moment with the feeling that I was being judged. The drinks and teas they had were all so good and unique! Never even heard of some of the drinks they were offering. I've been to a few poke spots around the Orlando area, and this one has to be the most bland, disappointing meal I've had in some time. Enough so to make me write a yelp review. The lady grabbed my white rice from a mysterious container from the floor. The portion for meat is ridiculously small, I'm talking 2-3 bites worth. I had to ask for more cucumbers 3 times because she would give me 4 paper slices each time. For how it actually tasted I'd give it a C-. The boba milk tea was so bad it is laughable. The boba balls were crunchy. This place stinks, just get Cava next door. read more

Went there for lunch 9/22. Both employees were rude and always on their phone in the back. Service was horrible. First we get there and no welcome at all. The people working there are not trained. No one asked if it was good or if we needed anything else. A sauce fell on the floor and she picked it up brushed it off and tried to give it to me. I said I didn't want it and she just throws it in the trash with a smirk. Everything we asked for was extra when the original amount was tiny. The spicy tuna was tasting off. No thanks or anything when we left. When I asked for an extra sauce when I had only gotten one she wanted to charge me and when she explained you get two I had to tell her I only had one. She then fills it and hands it to me with also a smirk. Ugly looking and tasting bowls. I'll let management fix the issues. Also only bottled water which is wasteful. Update: I've been back here so many times since my first review (probably about once a week) and it's been perfect almost every time (except today). Overcooked rice again. I was given the wrong sauce. And there were toppings in my bowl that I didn't ask for because of the station being messy (onions in the cucumber). It's perfect 95% of the time but the 5% of the time that the rice is overcooked, mushy and partly inedible makes me want to stop eating here. I've come to this place twice now. It's less than a mile away from my place, so it's dangerously close to me. It's a build-a-bowl place, with poke being the star of the show here. You can have poke in a normal rice bowl, a poke burrito, or even a poke salad. Whichever you choose, every protein I've tried here is super fresh tasting. I usually try to stick to the spicy proteins, and they are good. If you don't like spicy, don't worry, they aren't actually spicy. All the mix-ins are wonderful. I suggest the mango, if you get a lot of spicy proteins. It'll balance out that heat with that sweet. You can't go wrong with any of the sauces either. I've sampled them all. The best are the classic and the Sweet Chili Gochujang. Please, don't hesitate to ask for samples. The sauce will perfuse your entire entree. There are plenty of toppings. Avocado will cost you extra, of course. I also tell them to add in all the crunchy toppings. I love the added texture to the relatively soft rice and soft proteins. I realize that I didn't really say anything mind blowing in this review here, but the bottom line is that if the idea of this place interested you enough to even want to look up reviews, you will like it. Went out of my way from work to check this place out. It shares a space with other establishments so parking was not hard to find. I got there a little after the lunch traffic and found people enjoying their meals there. I had errands to run so I needed my order to be prepped to go. It's a very hall-like space so seating can be limited. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by an employee who wanted to make sure I knew how their process works, if I didn't already know. I ordered the sushi burrito and was very please to find they use nori sheets as opposed to flour wraps. We walked down the line and I got the burrito I wanted. I think it's great that masago and seaweed salad are included in the toppings you can choose from without the extra charge - that's rare and it's a thumbs up in my book. The order was efficient and I left within a couple of minutes after paying. I got home and finally chowed down and it was DELICIOUS. Everything was very fresh and finger licking good! I would have to say I wish they had a better process for applying the wasabi within the burrito - I found that I chomped on globs and as much as I can handle it it still took me by surprise. Amazing. We have had Poke before but not like this. Clean, large portions, great price, fresh ingredients. We had friends over for dinner on Saturday. We all were blown away. We, GF and I, ordered again on Monday because it was almost addictive. BEYOND THAT... Raven, the staff member that we dealt with on both occasions. Friendly, professional, adorably personable. We had many questions and special requests. She accepted all in stride and made us believers of the Oviedo, Pokeworks. In todays climate, it is rare to get customer service the way we did with Raven. Visited for the 2nd time today and ordered a Poke Salad with Ahi Tuna and Salmon. Everything was very fresh, service was swift and very accommodating. I was even able to get a taste of the salmon before i ordered - just to make sure it was to my liking. . . and it was. Lots of toppings and love their Sriracha Aioli. I will definitely be returning to try their Poke Burrito that i saw being made for another customer while i was there. . . . it's like a big sushi roll which is right up my alley! This place is super awesome. Build your own poke bowl and they have so many options. Brown rice, white rice, and surprisingly delicious kale noodles. Great variety of sauces and toppings. I never feel guilty eating here. The manager I interacted with was very friendly. The store has very high ceilings and it has a very clean and modern interior. 5 stars for a convenient new poké spot open in Oviedo! We came on their grand opening day (2/2/19) where everything was BOGO Free! Poke bowls were like $10 each, so this was a great deal!! The sponsors were outside giving tea samples. The rhubarb one was my faaaave! Anyways, Let's talk about the food. First off, the line was ridiculously long.. longer than Chipotle during lunch time. But hey, the only difference is that this line went by quick with efficient employees who were all charismatic, helpful, educational and patient! The menu had some pretty extensive and varietal items to choose from. You can select from "pre-made" dishes that were already handcrafted for you, or whip it up yourself by going the Create-Your-Own route! We decided to create our own poke bowls. They also offered create-your-own poke burritos, salads and noodles I believe. Choose a base, choose your toppings, mix-ins, proteins, sauces and crunch! From scallops, to spicy ahi tuna.. to seaweed salad and edamame, to ginger and mangos.. oh man.. the possibilities were endless. We all ended up getting a large bowl. Waaaay more than enough food.
