Salmon, tuna, and spicy tuna on white rice with avocado and wasabi cream
    Kay P.

The quality was terrible. The salmon looked cooked for some reason and tasted like it came from a can? The tuna was pale. I just expected the fish to be sushi-grade but it was inedible. The avocado was very brown. The wasabi cream tasted like sour cream. The sauce didn't taste like anything at all. It just made the rice wet. The overall flavor was an old fishy taste. I was so disappointed and we threw all the food away after 2-3 bites. So sad! The soda and coco water were good though.

Salmon, tuna, and shrimp bowl with white rice. Masago added as premium topping.

I had a great experience at the branch in Lake Mary, so I wanted to give the Windermere one a shot as well since it is close to my parents house. I went inside on a Wednesday evening and was greeted immediately. I chose salmon, tuna, and shrimp for the proteins, with white rice (14 dollars). For my toppings , I asked for the spicy pickled vegetables. I also added masago, which is an extra 1.5 dollars. I decided to have this togo so I can enjoy it at home. When it came to pay, I had a 25 percent coupon from dining advantage. However, the hostess at the counter had to call her manager as she didn't know how to ring it up. 5 minutes later, she was able to ring it and I got this meal for a total of almost 13 dollars. When I got home, it was nicely sealed in a bowl. Just like the Lake Mary location, everything was so good inside. The pickled vegetables had a nice sourness while still tasting fresh. All the fish tasted fresh and were tender, but I thought one would be a bit spicy as I ordered that version. However, the pickled jalapenos helped add a small kick. The sauces tasted delicious, and the house sauce added some great flavor, as well as the avocado creme sauce too. The masago has a nice crunch as I really enjoy fish eggs. I really find island fin to be a great chain for Orlando, and the Windermere location is no exception. The food and service was great. I did notice the dining area is small, but there were still tables available. This place makes me a big fan of poke bowls and definitely worth trying in the Windermere area.

This is the avocado- the picture doesn't do justice. It was a salmon bowl, the salmon was like warm and there was about 9 pieces total

this place, use to a staple. Now... the food quality is horrendous. i beg you, save your money. disgusting now...

I'm a poke lover! If there's ever an option for sushi or poke, I'm there! This place is super cute, located in the Windermere grove. Decorated with Hawaiian tropic vibes. The restaurant is an order at the counter/select your own ingredients kind of place similar to a chipotle. They have ALL the goodies and toppings that you could ever want on a poke bowl. Most of the ingredients are free they do have a few premium toppings, like avocado and crab that you would have to pay additional for. My go to is half brown rice & mixed greens base, the salmon, tuna and spicy tuna for protein. Add all the toppings + crab. Top with the ponzu and OG sauce. The staff are always kind, quick and friendly. We enjoy coming here. Pro tip: save room for a dole whip

I'm not sure if it's the southern hospitality that I'm not used to or hospitality is seriously their thing here, but service is phenomenal. They let you sample the sauces for your bowl. They also carried our food to the table, provided us with hefty samples of the dole whip when we were nearly done with our food, and threw away our bowls for us. Plus they have a half off dole whip happy hour. $2 for this massive dole whip that is plentiful to share. This is also the best poke I've had in the area and I've tried a few spots.

Did my diligence of checking hours of operation. Sundays are open till 9pm according to their website, Maps & Yelp. Waste of my time and Gas. Arrived at 8:25pm and the place was completely closed. Never coming back.

    Best poke bowl EVER

Absolutely love this place. I've tried poke in different restaurants around Orlando, but nobody takes the cake like Island Fin. Me plus a few others ordered online in the past for curbside pickup, and everything came out fast and exceeded our expectations as far as quality. My friend and I came in tonight to grab some dinner to go, as their online ordering seemed to be off for the night (about 30 mins before close at 9pm). The customer service here is wonderful! Staff is super friendly and excited to tell you about their food. Everything is fresh and the line and the restaurant all together are kept super clean. A man who I assume is the GM or owner helped me build my perfect bowl as well as let me taste different sauces and suggested other items for my bowl, based on my flavor preferences. He was super happy to help and had a wonderful attitude. You can tell he's proud of what he does and we love to see that! The bowl ingredients are super fresh and delish. They have lots of different toppings and mix ins to choose from, the combinations are literally endless so you can have a different flavor in every bite if you like variety. I pack lots of stuff into my bowl (I'll spare you those details) and everything is a beautiful mix. I definitely recommend the togarashi and the ono ono sauce! Adds lots of flavor. They add lots of rice as a base, so no matter how many toppings you get, you're sure to be full or have leftovers for later. Not to mention it's a poke bowl so you can just pop it in the fridge and eat it later without any extra effort :) I work nearby and lots of us are super fans of this place. Not many people seem to know it's there so spread the word! Best poke ever!

    Kalvin K.

Came by here after working out at the gym nearby. The owners greeted me very warmly and showed off their restaurant theme and decor. Poke has really taken up recently and this place serves some good poke and hospitality. I opted for the standard spicy tuna bowl which was very good especially with the edamame and wakame seaweed salad. I also had an orange and pineapple dole whip which was delicious even though it was a winter day.

GROSS COLOR. This is NOT fresh salmon!

If I could give 1 star I would!! My little sister got me a bowl to go and brought it home and THIS is the color of the salmon. DOES THIS LOOK FRESH TO YOU?? When I called to tell them I can't eat this, I was basically told "well we temp check our salmon so it's fine." And then they refused to give me a refund as I throw this bowl away. HUNG UP ON ME TWICE after saying they would put me on hold and talk to a manager. I was being very nice about it too so there was no reason for them to hang up on me other than them trying to get rid of me. VERY BAD BUSINESS. I'm breastfeeding a newborn and not taking a chance with pinkish looking salmon. WOULD YOU!??

Solid 4 out of 5 for freshness, value, and convenience. I stopped in on a Sunday lunch with a friend, expecting a quick, casual bite, and that is exactly what it delivered. The staff was friendly from start to finish and genuinely great at recommending combinations. Service was fast the entire way through, from ordering to pickup, without feeling rushed. One detail I appreciated is that there are two entrances, and the back door is super convenient since it leads straight out to the parking lot. The vibe inside is clean and straightforward, nothing overly flashy, and I really like the nod to Hawaii in the decor. It gives the space a relaxed island inspired feel without trying too hard, just a well kept fast casual setup that makes it easy to focus on the food. What I ordered: I went with a custom bowl. The tuna and salmon were both fresh with zero fishiness, which is always the first thing I look for. I tried the soyu and Hawaiian aioli sauces and both were a bit on the subtle side and leaned slightly bland, but not enough to take away from the overall bowl since everything else was solid. The unlimited toppings were a nice bonus and pretty consistent with what you would expect from similar poke spots. My friend ordered the garlic fried shrimp rice plate. The shrimp came out crispy and savory, and the mac salad on the side had a nice balance of creamy mayo with a bit of carrot to lighten it up. Total came out to about $36 with tip, which felt fair for a casual lunch for two. Overall, this is a great go to if you want something fast, fresh, and relatively healthy in Mills50. I would definitely come back, especially when I want a no stress lunch that still hits!

It just so happens to be located across the street from the gym. What better way to beast in the gym and feast right afterwards? Well it certainly was a great idea for us since we are foodie gym rats. We came in with a big appetite after our workout and were seated right away. They had just started their happy hour (which by the way is from 3-6pm). Everything on the happy hour menu looked so tempting but we were there for poke bowls specifically. Once we realized that it may be awhile to make our orders, we did start with the shiitake mushroom meatballs as our appetizer. The meatballs were pretty tasty and came with a sweet dipping sauce. The poke bowl menu is more like a check off list. First you start with a base, pick your proteins, veggies, toppings and sauce. All you have to do is place a check mark next to each item on the list and hand it over to the waiter. We both got the double protein bowl with extra protein. It was half tuna and half salmon and white rice. I had corn, ginger, edamame, Cucumbers, poke sauce , spicy mayo, Japanese mayo, seaweed and scallions. Our bowls were $14.75 each. It's basically a build your own poke bowl. Certain items do cost a little extra. But you can still build a massive bowl for less than $15. I like that the bowls were pretty fulfilling and fresh and tasty. I like the wide variety of toppings, sauces, proteins, and carbs to choose from. Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive.
