An amazing alternative to the other fast food/grab and go options in the area! I love that you can make your own bowl/salad (Chipotle style). You start with a rice base and add on your proteins, toppings, etc. My bowl was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The only downside is they seemed to be out of several things and it was not even noon yet. No edamame, a bunch of sauces out of stock. We paid for water bottles only to be told they were out and given cups of tap water instead. The disappointments were more than made up for by the quality of the food though! I also like that they gave specifically market gluten free and vegan options- very helpful!

Love this addition to Franklin. It's been opened for poke bowls and we love the fresh ingredients. The owners are really sweet and welcoming. The staff is always nice and able to answer all questions asked. My kids love their dole whip. They love making their own choices for toppings and whatever they want in their poke bowls. They just recently added LooseLeaf boba tea in the shop and it is amazing! The loose leaf tea flavors were exactly what my picky husband likes. You can select the sugar level as well as ice level. When it comes to authentic boba drinks, it comes down to the tea flavors. There are many choices and honestly, perfect for a family with different tastes We all got different drinks and the barista was super amazing when he saw my daughter make a face with her drink, he took it back and made it perfect for her. This will be our regular go to spot for boba drinks. Yes, we all got poke bowls as well....1 stop shop!

Picked up a Hawaiian Poke Bowl and my teenager daughter loved it. Ordered online and was freshly made upon arrival. Little spicy but she liked it after we had plenty of poke in Maui last year.

Really enjoyed this addition to Franklin. Had their salmon sushi burrito as well as a rice bowl. It is pricier for a quick lunch but you could potentially share between 2 people with smaller appetites. I also rather pay more to eat this than other fast food. It is next to Panera bread. Didn't see an option to order online to pick up. Takes longer to prepare sushi burritos FYI.

As soon as you walk in, you are in the battle of the drums between the Kumasi and the Djembe. So loud I couldn't think . I did ask to turn it down a few times, in the middle of my meal the Chef said I could eat outside. On that note I ordered way too much. The fried chicken was delicious !! Not greasy at all. But huge, sorry today I ordered two thighs that were the size of one large breast. A little condiment of shaved coconut and chive was on the side. Any sides were à la carte. I did try the " Cabbage Salad" that had a nice flavor, but was overdressed and is mostly iceberg lettuce, and rice with surprisingly sticky rice , so it was kind of yummy. The chicken came with one sauce I got the curry. It was divine.. & my friend got the chicken bites and some kind of mayo. I was going to leave a five star review because the food was that good however, on the receipt they charged $.92 for the containers and eating utensils. I'm disheartened because if they offered an alternative like a plate and regular silverware, I could see not adding it into their cost. If I refuse to pay for the containers, how would I eat it on that note the chef was nice enough to me to have me try a couple of items that I didn't have to pay for. Which I greatly appreciated and that is why I'm leaving such a nice review. I do recommend eating here, but take it home. Or call for delivery, they have their own AP. PS great smoothie's !!!

I decided to order Spam Musubi (rice and spam), a Byte (mini fried chicken), and tapioca tea! My girl went into the store and had the food ready within 3 minutes, which is really awesome as we were in a hurry. However, we were really disappointed by what was inside that bag, as none of them were as good as we expected. 1) Spam Musubi's rice was lost in texture itself. It tasted like old rice. Yet spam was well not bad. We ate all of them. 2) bytes( mini fried chicken) they were overcooked. I attach the picture of it. So hard to chew and meat was nothing there. And I requested mayo but it was not there. But spicy sauce was with them instead in the box. The kids were complaining it was too spicy for mayo. 3) boba tea, I ordered with boba with extra fee. But it was not there just milk tea with brown suger. Later my girl who went to there to pick up, told me the server continued to speak to her even though my girl told to write down as she was deaf. Can't lipreading. Quite disappointed with the service and food.

Wish I had read the other Yelp review before trying to hunt down this place. Apparently it's a…read morePOPUP IN PROTEIN HOUSE. RIGHT NEXT TO STARBUCKS. There is no signage of any sort--even inside. No info indicating on their website either. Not sure why they wouldn't advertise it. This place really needs some sort of signage. I almost gave up looking for this place until I saw a fellow yelper's review--which was very helpful. Google reviews sorted by most relevant--the first three reviews from this date has no mentions of it being inside the Protein House. SMH. Aside from the poor lack of direction, best way to get some fried chicken is to order online or delivery according to other review platforms. The online ordering was easy peasy though. Order was on time of scheduled pickup time We ordered a 5 pack of chicken, Mac salad, and cabbage slaw. The chicken pieces were huge. Super crunchy and moist on the inside. Nice and hot when we got it. I really enjoyed the chicken. Wife thought it was a tad too sweet. Mac salad she enjoyed but I thought it was alright. The cabbage slaw was pretty good combining with the chicken to balance out the sweetness. Overall the chicken was the main star and I give it a thumbs up. Just super frustrating to drive out of my way to hunt down this place when it's hidden in the Protein House. Reason for a mediocre 3 star review is the lack of direction to finding this chicken. I would have gave it a 5 since I enjoyed the chicken. Maybe it was posted on other social media platforms--but not everyone is active there. Cheers and good luck chasing this chicken down.

THIS IS A POPUP KITCHEN IN THE PROTEIN HOUSE. NOT A RESTAURANT. would have been nice if the woman I…read morespoke to when I called to order had said that! Spent 15 min walking around looking for the place! Grr! She said you have to place your order online only. By creating an online account. Pay over the internet. Cannot order over the phone. Cannot walk in to order. Should have been my first indication but ive only heard of these places. Never been in one yet. But when I called - WHY DIDNT THEY TELL ME THIS!?!!! (YW Yelp!) That said. Takes 30 min for an "asap" order to be ready. Food was probably read on-time- but ya know - I COULDN'T FIND THE PLACE. So by the time it makes the trek home it was warm but at least not cold. Chicken was pretty good. Boneless, basically crispy. Would have been nice if the seasonings / sauce / toppings on the chicken were actually put evenly on all pieces. Top two had most. Ube was interesting with the coconut. I'm told the Mac salad was decent as well. Would prefer a hot side - so I guess I just need rice next time as the only warm side option. All and all an ok fried chicken with nice flavor, juicy chicken and not much fat on the thigh which is good. But hot meals need more hot side options too. Just REALLY wish this freaking place had SOME kind of sign on it ... or that the people working there would automatically tell confused people calling where to FIND them. (Bc id already ordered and paid for the food need to know where to find them!) Not going to be worth the 30 min trip over (happened to have been in the area) for fried chicken but not bad if ure in the area. Maybe it would be better as a sandwich.

You can select from set options or make your own. Nothing wrong with the premade options but comparatively, build your own is a much better deal here. Most the toppings are similar to ones I've seen at other places (nori, avocado, garlic crisps, wonton puffs etc.) but they're the first I've seen offer korean pickled daikon - and I love pickled daikon. Also, apparently they offer dole whip, which I'd like to try next time. +1 star as a counterpoint to the ~only got a free sample of dole whip after not being a customer~ review.

I appreciate a quick option for a more healthy and balanced meal (protein and veggies bowl…read morebasically) but the chicken was so weird. It was like a marshmallow, it kind of just disappeared in my mouth. It was spongy maybe? I really liked the corn it was actually flavorful and sweet and the teriyaki sauce was good. But def don't get it with a chicken, maybe try shrimp or something. Price wise it was ok, but it's one price no matter what protein you get which did make my chicken and veggies with low rice seem a lot for $15. Honestly, I probably would only come back if I was in that plaza and staving. I will comment that their process of mixing is wasteful and I did not like that. They use disposable trays to mix your food and sauce and then put it in a plastic bowl, regardless if you eat at the store or not. That's using 2 disposable single use products one each and every meal.
