Great food, excellent service! We eat here often. The sushi is especially good, but there is plenty for non-sushi eaters too.

I really wanted to love this place because everything else I've had has been consistently great. The General Tso's chicken, crab rangoons, chicken fingers, fried rice, and noodles have all been delicious. If you're ordering from the regular menu, I honestly have no complaints. The only reason I can't give five stars is the sushi. I've tried ordering it three different times on different days and at different times because I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a one-off experience. Unfortunately, every time the fish has smelled and tasted off to me, and I haven't been able to finish it. I even switched to cooked rolls like shrimp tempura, hoping that would solve the issue, but something still just seemed off. It could just be my personal preference because I know people who enjoy their sushi, but I don't seem to have this issue at other sushi restaurants. I'd absolutely keep coming back for everything else on the menu, just probably not the sushi. read more

I enjoyed my meal here! While the entrance was a little confusing- there's a lot of doors and the entrance from the parking lot (which I think is the main entrance?) is small and unassuming. And if there's more than 2 people there, it feels very tight. While it wasn't busy, it took a little bit to be seated. The highlight of the meal was the sushi- the red dragon roll was absolutely delicious. My seafood udon was good but it felt like something was missing, although I don't typically order udon so I'm not the best judge. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken lo mein. I would definitely be back! The vibe is like, tiki dive bar. I liked it! There was a bar area and then the dining area where we were. There may have been more to the place but I could t see behind the walls. Went to Ko for lunch yesterday. I haven't stopped in for a couple of years (my bad, I'm not sure why). I was surprised at the menu offerings and ended up going' with the lunch special sushi, which was absolutely delicious and amazingly presented. I now need to return and try the rest of the menu. Right off the bat I'll say this - This was one of the more unique bowls of ramen I've ever had in my life. And I mean that in the best way! A friend took me here a few months back, and I forgot to write a review about it! KO is a great spot for food, drinks and hangout. The place is big, and is a bit on the noisy side, but not so bad that it would stop me from returning. Their KO Special ramen is just that - Special! Such unique flavor, and the bowl is huge! I definitely couldn't picture finishing the entire thing in one sitting. But man oh man, what a bowl of ramen!! So I have been sitting on this for about a week, and I have never been to place before, and how I ended up here was because I told my friend that ramen joint we went to in Bellingham was "hands down the best ramen joint I have ever been too." Long story short my friend pretty much said I was delusional..... So let me get this right out of the way, this ramen was very enjoyable it was filling and tasty all at the same time.... However that being said the broth was not as memorable as the Bellingham counter part, the broth for me reminded of the broth from those Maruchan instant ramen packs.... You know the powder.... And yes I know they don't use that stuff there but for me it tasted like it.... But again this in no way means I hated it, I grew up on that stuff. The noodles were great not slimy, not fattening, and props to the chef of adding a great amount of bean sprouts and the pork was cooked to semi perfection, the marinated boiled eggs were great as well... the only thing I did not like was the broccoli in my soup... The place was interesting ample parking, the building itself is not what you think it is, outside it looks like a seafood summer shack joint.... But inside it is an actual ramen joint. The place has plenty of seating and it is very spacious outside. I did order a side dish of scallion pancakes, and those were honestly meh, they were over cooked and bland.... They had a minimal crunch to them but they lacked flavor.... The dipping sauce was good and actually helped to bring some flavor to the pancakes.. The staff was very attentive and friendly, since I am a type 2 diabetic, so when I asked for zero sugar soda, she went to double check to machines to see if they had any, and to my surprise they did in fact have that soda I asked for. Lastly the price for the food including the appetizer was under $30, I would definitely go again..... and I would place this in my top 5 ramen joints to eat. I'm constantly here picking up orders for other people and had never actually tried the food myself until last week. I picked up an order for my boss and I it was great! I was worried because we ended up ordering very close to closing but the food was fresh the service was great. They have a fish named Dragon when you first walk in I always stop and say hello to him , he is really awesome and I swear he recognizes me . This restaurant is one of the few in town with a bar in it so it can get very busy and noisy , it's nice when you come in you see people happily talking. It's not some place that you go and feel uncomfortable it honestly feels like home. Everyone I've met who works there is amazing they remember my name and always greet me the minute I walk through the door. The best part is they have so many vegetarian options! It's a great place to eat with family but keep in mind especially on the weekend evenings it can be noisy but that's normal! If you are looking for a place to eat with family or a fun place to go with friends for some food and drinks I'd definitely give them a try. It's definitely a place you can bring your children and they can be children. It's not stuffy and pretentious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Just remember to treat people how you want to be treated! Don't have an attitude or be rude and impatient, working as a server isn't easy. Ko Sushi and Grill had to appear before the board of Health in Hopkinton because of consistent food safety violations. This was documented in the Hopkinton Independent Newspaper on January 8, 2025. Things like handwashing, sanitizing food contact areas, cross contamination, and food separation. Even adequate lighting in the food preparation areas. The owner could face suspension of its license and closure if it doesn't get more consistent in addressing these violations more consistently. The owner says that they test every single food and situation but apparently they need to get more consistent. I personally haven't gotten sick, but I am probably not gonna go there anymore until I hear that it's up to the standards it should be. read more

The sushi is made in front of you which is very good. The other food I'm not too sure of because it's good and then it's ok. The bathrooms are disgusting. Which turned me off. And the bartender is also the waitress or waiter, so they are doing 2 jobs. And you wait and wait. You would think bartender is at the bar and the waitress/waiter is in the restaurant area. Which I normally do not do. when I got back to work and opened the bag, I was surprised to see both items in a very small container; Almost compacted in to fit. so appearance -1 star and the pickled ginger was enormous! Ridiculously large pieces. so -1 star for that! The taste and firmness of the maki roll was just fine, as was the taste of my sushi. I'll go back but probably eat my meal there. read more

This is a very dirty restaurant. My wine glass was dirty and the ladies room was very dirty and smelled like raw sewage all the way out the door. Nothing seemed clean, we were grossed out. Ordered a bunch of things tonight and pretty much all of them were ok at best. In personally has the steak and cheese burrito which was 98% rice and no taste of steak nor cheese. A happy little accident we stumbled upon this place and it was so worth it. The kitchen was super accommodating of my unique allergy and made sure my order and my husband's order were completely carrot-free. I agree with Kathi M., but I am not as generous with the stars. You can get better sushi at Price Chopper down the street. Chocolate "bacon" was chocolate covered fat with a hard edge that was impossible to bite into. I thought I was biting the wooden skewer stick. It is like a thick slice of ham steak, but just the fat. Gross! It is not even like typical thick sliced bacon. Sushi had 0 flavor, tasted stale and room temperature. We got Cowboy roll (tasted like cream cheese and the not spicy lime sauce), Tiger maki and California roll. All tasteless and mushy. We were afraid to eat it for fear of getting sick. Not fresh. Plain lo mein and beef skewers were ok. Staff was very friendly, so I gave it 2 stars for that. Maybe other menu items are better, but we are tossing $50+ worth of sushi. Came here because I needed sushi and this place does not disappoint. Have you ever had a sushi roll that had so many different textures and flavors that it just melted into your mouth? So we sat at the sushi bar and there was a game on, I order some rolls and edamame, whatever. BUT I asked the chef to recommend rolls to me and he did. The 50 cal bullet roll. It was fried and torched, sauced, I don't even know, but it melds together and melts in your mouth. Tastes amazing chased with a beer. Highly recommend, sit on those high chairs and talk to the sushi chef let them pick what you get, just tell them what you can't have and you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

Been there many times before and after the pandemics. I was disappointed today Dec10th , 2021 with an order I placed for pickup. Totally over charging . Simple chicken teriyaki for $20 . A spoon of white rice , 3 pieces of Broccoli and 3 pieces of chicken ( that is $5 a bag from grocery stores . Stopped here for takeout on our way home from the Cape. Fantastic sushi and sashimi. Had never had chicken gyoza, but it was excellent. Salmon sashi was fresh and good sized. This place is fantastic and a hidden gem out "west" in Hopkinton. GPS takes you to the back side and into the parking lot where it's not clear since there is no signage that you are at the right place. I was a bit confused when I only saw Dunkin Donuts and a Real Estate shop. However, it's right there on the corner and in a house looking structure so you are entering the backside. Anyway, there is a wrap around bar with a few tv screens and I can see why locals come here and it was packed. We ate in the dining room and loved the fireplace - it's so cozy in there. They offer way more than sushi including pasta and steak/mash potatoes. I had the sashimi, eel, and spicy tuna hand roll. Really big pieces, high quality for a normal price. Wanted to visit this restaurant from a long time and finally paid on a visit on a weekend, it was surprising it see the restaurant half empty on a Friday evening. So we were seated right away. We placed order for Chicken Dumplings, Spicy Mango Maki rolls. I don't eat Sushi very often, so I cant speak for it. But the Chicken dumplings is delicious! For entrees we ordered Sichuan Chilli Sauce with fish, which was tasty too! The food is good, quality is great but in my opinion the prices are little high for the portions of food. Wow..... last two take out orders were between 30 and 50 minutes later than they said for pick-up. The sushi is very good, but often they forget something like the extra sauce you ask for. They need a better ordering system as the online is "iffy" and the phone intake is always noisy, which may contribute to the mistakes.
