Quick little Poké place that was in a nice plaza with abundant parking. I got the Atlantic which seems to be their signature, which had salmon and tuna. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the area was nice and clean. There was also outdoor seating to grab some fresh air. The food itself was alright. I wouldn't say anything was crazy about the food but it did its job. If anything, the rice felt a bit tough and not that fluffy, but not to an extent that it was a dealbreaker. There's seats and umbrella-tables outside to the side of the building that makes for a good outdoor eating experience. They're kept clean and a staff member comes out to clean up and wipe the tables clean after they're used. Parking: abundant. It's near other food restaurants, bars, and a Whole Foods. The last three visits to Atlantic Poke were very disappointing as I have been a customer since they first opened. Although I ordered at the restaurant in person, I was sent home with the wrong order. Not sure how that happened but it did. The last two times, the portions were incredibly small when greens were the base of the poke bowl. This includes the masago, tuna and salmon. I understand that they are measured but I noticed a significant difference than the order that I was given in error. Also I will note that my tuna and salmon did not seem as fresh as in the past. Unfortunately, I will no longer be purchasing from Atlantic Poke. I know that many people enjoy their food but for me, three strikes and I can no longer be a loyal customer. read more

As a vegetarian, "poke" is essentially out of my reach but I was very pleased to see vegetarian options at this place and decided to order delivery from this place for a work lunch. I love the build-your-own option and went that route. I wanted to be "healthy" and ordered greens as my base with a bunch of veggies and edamame as toppings and finished everything off with tofu. They have a wide variety of sauces from which to choose and I was looking forward to sampling the "wasabi soy". The bowl arrived on time via uber eats. It was sizable but not what I would expect for $16. Immediately I noticed one of the pieces of lettuce was brown and rotting, see attached photo. This completely turned me off. Call me crazy, but I would expect they would want to give their customers fresh food instead of rotting ingredients but apparently not. The majority of the greens seemed to be fresh with the exception of a small pile of questionable leaves I constructed because you can be damn sure I had to inspect every forkful after my disappointing discovery. The rest of the vegetables included appeared to be fresh. The "wasabi soy" had no detectable wasabi whatsoever and was essentially just soy sauce so my bowl was vegetables dressed with soy sauce. This whole thing isn't a nonstarter, however. I do appreciate the ability to order something that isn't complete garbage and the customizable aspect so I will likely attempt to order from this place again but will go with the grains instead of the lettuce and another sauce next time. read more

This place is great! Very clean, good service, and good, fresh food. Can't wait to go back. Came here for lunch time on a Thursday around 12. Not too busy. There's a lot of topping options, and it's a casual fast food place so you get to see all the toppings as they're putting your bowl together. I got a bowl with white sushi rice, veggies, and tofu with a couple of sauces. Pricing is reasonable. If you want poke or even chirashi, I would definitely recommend Atlantic Poke. With COVID times, you have to order in advance and call them when you get there so they can bring your order out to your car. But I actually prefer that so I can park my lazy butt in my car and keep my seat nice and warm in this frigid New England weather. Service was fast and friendly. Regarding their poke bowls, I was pretty put off initially by the pricing. Almost $14 just for two scoops?! I'm clearly not from up north and clearly not used to this pricing. After creeping on other Poke options around though, these prices are actually pretty competitive...darn. I'm glad I gave it a chance though because I was full after eating half my bowl, whereas when I normally pay ~$9-$10 for poke in Atlanta, I can easily finish my bowl. Quality definitely seemed good and they didn't stinge on the toppings either. Overall, if I decide I'm okay forking up money for poke, this would be my go-to spot. I regret to write this but in my opinion, the poke here I did not enjoy. I really wanted to like this place. I've been to Hawaii numerous times and the poke here didn't cut it one bit. I understand that it's not really Hawaiian poke but even their bowls here just wasn't up to par. I opted for a mix bowl with brown rice/tuna/veggies, etc. The rice was dry, and the tuna didn't have much flavor to it--even with their Atlantic sauce. There just wasn't much flavor. The poke here needs a punch in order to be better. I understand the concept how this shop is "chipotle" like but the proteins just needs to be seasoned prior rather then added into a bowl and add sauce to it. Sort of what PokeWorks (franchise evil empire) does. They at least mix the proteins on the spot. That would be my suggestion to start improving. I am no way trying to criticize the business and I commend the efforts of starting the first poke shop in central MA. This is just constructive feedback. Please improve the poke here in Central MA. My most favorite, favorite place to get poke. I've had tons of poke places (even poke places outside of Worcester) and I just feel like nowhere else compares to the fresh fish that they consistently have. I always get white rice with 2 scoops of cucumber, 2 scoops of their roasted corn, scallions, cilantro, seaweed salad, 2 scoops of salmon, Masago and a little of the ginger sauce with heavy on the spicy mayo and pinko and sesame Their spicy mayo is like the cherry on top because it's ACTUALLY spicy and has a little kick to it. One thing I wish is that they had more toppings like fried onion, fried garlic, etc. but I've been told they're gluten free which is why they don't have a lot of those extra toppings available. I am beyond excited that this place opened! Always having to travel far for good poke, now it's only about a 15 min drive to get some. When I walked in here, the staff had greeted me, super friendly and explained the process. Although I already knew how it worked, I just like to see how staff handle having to explain the process over and the patience they have with customers to rate their customer service skills. I have to say definitely passed with flying colors! They have pre suggested poke bowls as well as a make it yourself option. The price I have to say is pretty reasonable for the portion of food. The toppings and sashimi pieces are definitely fresh. I have no idea what kind of soy sauce dressing they use but it is amazing! It makes the poke bowl phenomenal for sure! One of the only 3 Poke places in Worcester area, and they have great service - both food and the people. No matter how late I need to get my order picked up the people who work their are always friendly, even 5min before closing. Their fresh, unlimited toppings for the poke bowls makes for a healthy, filling meal every time. Let me reiterate that they're topping selection is big, and you can select them all, or just choose one, all up to you. There are several different sauces you could choose from but I like the Ginger sauce and the "Traditional" which is sesame oil and soy sauce. You get to choose 2 for every bowl so try them all and find your favorite! They do have pre-set combinations for bowls in you're in a hurry, but just like any other fast casual you can completely customize your orders, and offer gluten-free toppings and sauces as well. One thing I noticed on Yelp reviews for a lot of poke places, is a that a lot of people write that the poke they had in Hawaii, or what ever is better, or this isn't authentic. To f'ing bad. Go there if it suits you. I'm reviewing this as is, for quality, freshness, taste, and cleanliness, not comparing it to some place half way across the country or world! With that said,,,, Located in what I call Whole Foods square, (the old Spag's yard) it's easy to find, parking is ample. They have 5 bowls on the menu board, and also you can build your own. They also have a good assortment of dressings. In a nutshell, it's like a "Subway" type of layout, with everything you want, laid out in front of you. I had the wasabi tuna, and my wife had shrimp and chicken. Every protein and veggie was fresh. Nothing looked old or wilted, and the tuna had absolutely no fishy smell to it. If you're a wasabi fan, mine was especially "spicy". If not, eat it with caution. IMHO, it doesn't matter if you're new to poke, or have had it before, this is the place. read more

Today was my first visit to Atlantic Poke but I'll certainly be going back. The store was bright and clean. The staff friendly, energetic and very helpful working with me as a newbie. I had a triple-scoop build your own with sushi rice, wakame, edamame, ginger, scallions, tunax2 & salmon. Total spent $21. There was certainly enough food for a big lunch. All the ingredients looked fresh and well kept and the end result was delicious. I recommend this for a quick but healthy and tasty lunch. read more

My favorite bowl is white rice, no greens, the first two columns (edamame/soybeans, green onions, carrots, pineapple, cucumber, roasted corn), cilantro, masago, the first column in the next section (crab meat, seaweed salad, ginger), and FOUR scoops of raw fish (2 tuna and 2 salmon), with sesame and panko, ginger sauce and spicy mayo sauce. Avocado available at additional charge. If I want to be a little healthier, I may skip the crunch and switch out white rice with brown rice or just greens and get sauce on the side. On a Saturday early afternoon there was a small line of customers, but the efficient assembly line system makes it go quick. I opted for the create your own option which I loaded up with veggies and tuna/salmon and topped with 3 of their sauces. It tasted pretty good, but I happen to prefer Wegmens poke bowls for the sauce taste. With tax and tip, the cost for a small bowl is $15. read more

It was a good size bowl and considering I got there about 30 minutes from closing, I was surprised there were still so many options. It was a different way of poke for me, all the places near me mixes the poke in a bowl with certain toppings and the sauce of your choice but here all the toppings went directly on the rice, then the fish went on and the sauce was drizzled. It definitely didn't seem like there was enough. The fish also wasn't as melt in your mouth as I am used to which I found disappointing. I also found the options we're minimal compared as well. The food was actually pretty tasty, with a healthy enough nutritional profile. The only part that was a significant detractor for me has to do with the way the food is laid out and served. I was extremely uncomfortable when I saw that there were bits of fish in the tofu container. I noticed it and said something. The reason this review is as high as it is was solely because the staff was nice enough to change the tofu out for me. They have a great set up during social distancing. Place your order on their website; it's really straightforward and I think it's easier than when you're in the shop. They send you a text when your meal is ready and you text/phone them when you arrive outside. Stay in your car and they bring your meal out - great responsible way to ensure social distancing. I had a great experience at Atlantic Poke today. I was greeted as I approached the front by a young man. He walked me through the menu and crafted my bowl perfectly. I wasn't sure if I should play it safe with chicken or try the salmon and tuna. Another person (I believe it was the owner) talked to me about the flavors and what worked well together. Through their knowledge and recommendations I decided to try the salmon and tuna. I am so glad I did. It was absolutely delicious, top quality. Seriously, I'm already planning a trip back. The customer service was awesome. The owner cleaned the tables near me and asked how I liked it. He talked about the quality of salmon that he looked for.
