I had the opportunity to try Pokemoto today and arrived early, before lunchtime, so it wasn't busy. The clerk took the time to explain how their meals work, offering the choice of ordering from the menu or building my own bowl. I chose to build my own bowl with salmon, crab mix, edamame, carrots, cucumbers, ogo seaweed, green onions, mango, dried onions, seaweed, slivers, and sweet chili oil. I also ordered a spam musubi and Thai teak with boba. The clerk was incredibly patient and even let me sample some of the flavors before I made my final decision. Although I ordered my meal to go, I would love to dine in the next time the interior was clean, cheerful, and offered plenty of seating. Highly recommend. We had a wedding to go to in Gallatin and were told that they caterers could not accommodate vegans, so we had to have a back up plan and Pokemoto was it! We ordered the Pokemoto Tofu and the bowl was huge! Two of us decided to split it and it was enough for the both of us. The Tofu was a signature dish but you can also build your own bowl. A bowl should make two meals for most people. I chose a combination of brown rice and fresh greens for my base, Ahi tuna for my protein, and a plentiful assortment of toppings. I wish that they had spicy tuna but at this point I'll take what I can get. I got a regular bowl and I couldn't even finish it. They give you a lot of food. I got white rice, shrimp, and lobster with edamame, carrots, cucumber, pineapple, seaweed, nori, crab salad, wasabi, sesame, and some crunchies. They have so many good sauce options. The seating is comfortable, they have multiple seating options including comfy booths and a bar that faces the wall that feels like a private space to eat. They have a cute Hawaiian lei on almost every chair. The service is always prompt, super friendly, and helpful. They're always so polite and happy to see you. The food is always perfectly fresh and high quality, every ingredient looks like it was freshly made and displayed right just as you come in which is wonderful. The boba is always good, and they have so many flavors to choose from. My favorite is the popping boba, but their tapioca boba is good too if you prefer that kind. The prices are reasonable, as well. My favorite way to order is to get the regular sized poke bowl with double protein (salmon sushi) and brown rice, I always include pineapple, seaweed salad and garlic chips and change up my other additions on each visit. I wish they hadn't reduced their coverage for DoorDash orders, as my home is no longer included within their range, but it's still worth a visit when you come to Gallatin. read more
