Incredible food, incredible service, incredible owner! This is one of my go, two spots in Mount Juliet.

Later lunch as we're past Nashville and heading East. Mrs. K. wanted something healthy so we detoured into Mount Juliet and got a poke bowl at Gotcha. Rather than the "assembly line" popularized by Subway and Chipotle, we were asked to order off the menu with their preset poke bowls. Don't get me wrong - they're made to order and assembled right then, but I do like to "more of that" and "none of the other" as we're putting it together. A nice bowl with a warm rice base topped with proteins and veggies that was quite delicious including krab salad, seaweed salad, tuna and avocado. Plenty to share here that was tasty and fresh. Quality was good - ordered online and it was ready when we arrived. Only thing is the amount of "protein" that you get with the bowls isn't very much compared to other places. 3 scoops looked more like 1 scoop and 5 scoops looked more like 3, so not really worth the $$ if the amount of protein matters to you (my son's 5 scoop bowl came out to be around $23 with just a few added extras) - and the crab salad didn't taste like much ... Might go back, if I REALLY craved poke ... read more

We stopped by after shopping and needed a pick me up. And it did not disappoint!! Both were not toooo sweet which I loved as someone who doesn't like things overly sweet. The lychee jelly in the fruit tea was refreshing and yummy. The Boba in the coconut milk tea was cooked right when chewing it, it was soft and chewy. I'm super excited that My. Juliet has a poke spot! I've been craving it for awhile, but never feel like making the trip to Nashville. I ordered online, and decided to make my own bowl and got the brown sugar tea. I can definitely say the brown sugar tea was the star of the show. It was delicious and refreshing. The bowl I created was good as well, but they mixed up a few of my ingredients, which I didn't notice until I got home. Not a huge deal since the bowl was still tasty. I will be giving this place another visit or 2 to try more of the tea flavors. It's worth the visit! read more

Boba update! Ordered a regular Gotcha milk tea. The gotcha milk tea is a black tea base mixed with their specialty tea. The quality of the tea was excellent, 5/5 for sure. The tapioca had good texture - not too mushy or firm - just the right amount of chew with a little bit of sweetness but of course this varies depending on the batch. I liked how the regular size (unsure about the large) comes in a cute cup with their fancy logo on it. But again I'm going to have to leave it as a 4/5 overall because of the price. Their milk tea starts at $5.75 for a regular which is just a little bit taller than the width of my palm. It's pretty small. Compare it to a competitor such as Yin Yang Tea down in Nashville who charges $5.50 for a drink that would be equal to the large here, & their quality is also top notch. Because there's not a lot of competition here in MJ for bbt, I can understand the pricing for sure. Either way, it's still great to have a quality boba option albeit at a little higher price. My advice - just get the large for 90 cents more lol. read more

I stopped in after a business meeting in the same complex. I didn't even know this place was there. I've been to other Poke/bubble tea places, so the concept isn't new to me. This experience was overwhelming a little bit. You have to read everything to figure out what is extra vs what comes with your order. I spent $22 on a bowl and a tea. The bowl was good, but I feel the protein portion was on the small side. I didn't like the tea, but that may have been my error. Staff was nice. read more

I got a poke bowl with tofu (after they let me sample the tuna and it was too fishy for me)....but the flavors and the bowl definitely hit the spot and fulfilled my craving. The boba tea was ok (Steamboys in Hermitage has the best around). read more

Main reason that I am giving 1 star rating is because they are regularly out of boba. It's been at least 4-5 times in the last few months that they are out of boba. Boba is cheap and easy to make, the fact that they can't figure out how to make enough boba to serve customers just doesn't make any sense. read more

Just ordered the Poke Bowl special and built the second bowl. Young lady didn't put crab salad in the poke bowl special as menu item was listed. Didn't realize it until I got home and business was closed at this point to bring to their attention. Pretty pricey bowls but they do have good boba drinks which are always fun to drink. You'll walk out spending $40-$45. Still would recommend. read more

I was in town for 5 days and luckily found this place the first night! I ate there 4 different times!!! Portions were just right for the price! Ingredients were fresh and tasty! One of the times I was in they got very busy and the younger staff became intimidated by the amount of customers and pressure, but they got through it. This is the best poke place in Nashville! Its extremely clean, the workers offer amazing services. (They even hold an umbrella over your head on your way to the car if its raining) Idk why people keep complaining about portions.. I think its perfect. Im able to finish my food without leftovers everytime. We go here at least once or twice a week. Can't recommend it enough! read more

The flavors here are amazing!!! The Brown Sugar Milk Bubble Tea is the best in my humble opinion but they have soooo much more than that! When you are in Smyrna this is a MUST-GO! The team there is friendly and attentive and there are so many tea combinations, treats and options that even the pickiest person will find there favorite! So, my husband and I see "Bubble Tea" and our idea of "bubble tea" is tea with tapioca "bubbles". We order and the woman asks if we want "add ins". We look at the menu and decide we don't need to pay for "add ins". We get our teas, take our first sip and no tapioca "bubbles". We ask "where are the tapioca bubbles"? "You said you did not want any "add ins". What? Since when is the "bubble tea" come with no "bubbles"??? One regular size milk and tea and one large it was $13! I hate leaving this review because the employees are so nice. But this place is subpar. The prices are high but for quality poke, it's not high. This however, isn't quality poke. My shrimp were thawed frozen salad shrimp, and room temperature. I am now paying for this in the bathroom. There was hardly any crab salad that I paid extra for. Just not good. read more

I am so happy to finally have a poke spot in Mt Juliet. I've tried Gotcha twice now( and forgot to take pictures before gobbling everything down both times). I've tried both the poke & their fruit teas and both were delicious. The fish for the poke tastes very fresh, they have a ton of toppings to choose from & great flavors in their sauces. I really enjoyed my food, but I agree with other reviewers that the portion sizes are small for the prices being charged. They could stand to give more rice and/or mixed greens for the base as well, though the toppings were given fairly generously. Another complaint I have is that while I'm used to paying an extra dollar for avocado, it's annoying to have to pay extra for things like seaweed salad and masago which I'd consider integral poke bowl toppings. Service wise, there are a few kinks to be worked out in terms of logistics/timing/overall smoothness of experience, but the staff have all been very friendly & pleasant to interact with. I will definitely come back here as I've really enjoyed everything I've tried & I completely understand that there are some kinks to be worked out as a brand new business. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be nearly as often as I'd like with the high prices to consider (nearly $30 for a 5 scoop bowl & regular drink, even with the extra $2 for seaweed salad & masage, is just too much!). Their portions and prices are very misaligned. $25 for a large bowl with maybe 10-15 very small chunks of fish, have to pay extra for masago and seaweed salad (and possibly other standard sides I didn't order). Been to this place 3 times and each time is worse than the last... wanted to give them an chance but staff & tea is really bad... The first time I ordered milk tea bubble tea It barely had actual toping in it, I asked the only employee a girl with short black hair she said to see the topping I needed to pay extra..... Second time I waited 44 minutes for a strawberry bubble tea for my daughter... And today the third & last time I ordered 2 bubble teas and after I ordered they told me that the did not have bubble topping......a bubble tea place without bubble topping....... Don't waste your time with the mediocre service & food from this place.... read more
