We tried this place two times. The first time I ordered off the menu and I wasn't super impressed. The second time, following my wife's recommendation I created my own bowl with a little bit of all the offerings and surprisingly found it to be a really tasty treat. Poké is one of my favorites and it's hard to beat poké from Hawaii, but this was delicious for Michigan poké! If you have never had poké before, you will definitely want to preview the menu beforehand so you aren't overwhelmed when you need to order and there is a hangry line behind you. Protein and topping choices are plentiful as well as portion size. My only complaint was that they do NOT recycle their pop glasses (think old fashion Coca Cola glasses). We even asked where to put them to recycle, and the employee stated to just throw them out because that's what they were instructed to do by management, which makes me sad. Additionally, whatever was in the fountain machines (I'm thinking it was flavored teas or sodas), were all emptied and there was liquid all over the counter. It was not clean at all and it was an hour+ before closing. It was like they started closing down and then customers came in, so they stopped half way through. read more

After trying Poké Poké in Troy on Big Beaver and Rochester a few months ago, I told myself I would never go to a Poké bowl place again because of the horrible experience I had. I absolutely love anything sushi, so when this place opened I was so excited to try it. Personally I don't think the selection of fish is all that great because there isn't an option for crab. The tuna I had was tough and chewy also. There aren't that many toppings to choose from, but there are plenty of sauces which I like. I didn't like how the only crab they have is crab salad and when I asked for it I only got 1 TABLESPOON. They also add in way too much rice which sucks because I'd rather have more fish and toppings. I've been twice and this place really is just subpar. You're better off getting poke poke 2 miles down the road read more

Really clean and nice atmosphere to eat in! You can tell that the food is VERY fresh and the people working the line are super friendly. I'm honestly impressed with the customer service. When asked how the food was a lady near me said her burrito was a bit too salty and Jon offered to remake her burrito for her. not bad, but not my favorite poke place. i love poke and sushi so i've tried a good amount of it in the area. the tuna here was fresh but i didn't love the texture, as it was quite chewy. though it wasn't terrible, it just wasn't that melt-in-your-mouth tuna texture that i've come to expect with ahi tuna. My second qualm is with the spicy mayo, which is very thin. it seems like they add soy sauce to it? again, not bad, i just prefer the texture and flavor of classic spicy mayo. just my personal preference! read more

Really good new poke spot in Troy. I got the regular bowl with ahi. Portion and value were good, and there are a lot of options for toppings that are no additional charge. The only negative might be the location, which can be a little tricky to get in and out of depending on where you're coming from and the time of day. read more
