Their team patiently worked with us all throughout, offering helpful advice, and addressing any questions or concerns we had. They guided us through the selection process with the various suppliers which was efficient and each vendor was extremely helpful and professional. Prior to starting construction, we were given access to a detailed online schedule so we knew what was planned each day which was so helpful. From the first day of construction, they kept us updated on any changes to the schedule and was very flexible if we needed to adjust anything, and he was always available and responsive if we had questions. From the planning/design process to the daily work, they were extremely communicative and thorough. We were impressed by everyone that worked on this project and the results exceeded our expectations. Additionally, any questions we had were answered quickly. The whole team was absolutely amazing. We learned that the old windows were not even windows by today's standards, they were just huge panes of glass that gave no insulation. He measured the windows so quickly (like 2 minutes) that I wondered if the windows world 3 actually fit (they did!). The price was extremely reasonable; we had intended to get three estimates but my mom and I both lined Kris so much we decided to go with him right away. I chose a day for installation when Kris was going to be out of town on vacation so he let me decide if we wait to wait until he got back or if we wanted him to send his right hand man Daniel. We went with Daniel who showed up right on time on a cold morning. I thought removing the old badly cracked panes of glass would be very difficult. I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. They only removed one window at a time and our house never got cold on a 33 degree day This was one of the best customer experiences for a project I have ever had. I chose EV Windows after asking CharGBT to find me a great window company with very good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do not have one negative thing to say. We had a older (50+ years) 5" front door deadbolt lock that had failed and needed it repaired or…read morereplaced. I contacted Ami at AD Garage Doors and Locks who came across to me as honest, well versed, and experienced. His technician Tom inspected the lock the next day and found that the mechanism had broken to open and close the deadbolt and had to be replaced. Because it was an older wood door and lock, Ami and Tom recommended replacing the original 5" Kwikset deadbolt with a 5" Schlage deadbolt latch that would fit the pre-drilled holes in the door. Tom was able to secure a large enough plate to cover the extra pre-drilled hole in the door and give us a functioning front door lock. AD Garage Doors and Locks completely met my expectations at a reasonable price and I highly recommend them in the Chicago area.
