Brian is always awesome. This was the 3rd nail salon I tried when moving to the area a year ago. After the first time, he knew exactly what to do every time I came back. I'm a simple person, but also like things done right. Brian is usually very patient. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a nail tech in the area.

Notice my middle finger and my pointer finger are crooked.

I went here for about a year and I was happy because I usually got my nails done by the guy in there. He is really good. But then the owner was weird about him doing my nails. Then I noticed she skipped me once and attended the white woman that got there after me. I always spend at least $120 and tip $20 every time however the last 4 times I went there her other employees did my nails and they never got it right. There is only one good nail person there and it's the guy the rest of her staff are hit or miss. Rebecca did my nails the last couple times and she is good at pedicures and not is not good at nails. In my picture you can see my nail is crooked they did offer to fix it but it was Valentine's Day and I had dinner that night. I also work long hours and don't have time to come back so they can fix their mess. I had actually stopped going there but that day I was in a hurry and went back and of course it was awful.

    Lumpy, uneven and different shapes.

DO NOT.. I repeat, Do not go here. . I was cut multiple times and on two different visits (see…read morepictures). Nina worked on my nails and was hopping in between clients and rushing through my nails as if she was the only person there (several other nail techs available, but she said she was the only one that could). Even with other nail techs working she was "helping them" and saying " she doesn't know how , but I have to do it" but the other tech was having clients walk out and pay to what must've been a fine job. I assumed Nina would be the best, but she managed to cut my skin and cause me to bleed multiple times. Three days later, I had a nail fall off and another on the way out. Pictures below show 3 days old wounds, while the last one was the new wound after it was fixed. Not only that, I asked for French tips with a specific color. She started going up my nail bed with the paint in which I asked her if that was the final product or was she going to do a clean up. She told me that if I wanted "classic" French tips I should've said that because she assumed I wanted curvy (?). I had to show her a picture of what French tips were because she claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. As someone that has gotten my nails done for over 10 years, I've only ever had to ask for French tips. I've actually never heard of curvy French tips and idk why someone would assume otherwise. James did a great job on my feet which is the only reason i would give even a single star!

I explained that my skin had become raw, my fingers were swollen afterward, and that I was genuinely worried about infection. What made this experience even worse was the response I received afterward. The salon replied claiming that the technician repeatedly asked me if I was okay during the process, which is simply not true. Hearing that after already dealing with pain and damage is honestly incredibly upsetting. It is a horrible feeling to already be injured and then feel like your experience is being dismissed or rewritten. The truth is that the pain and damage became even more severe over the following days. I later showed my nails to my regular experienced nail technician, and she immediately told me that my natural nails had been over-filed, thinned out, and damaged. I clearly stated beforehand that my nails are sensitive. Because of that, I truly do not think someone inexperienced should have been assigned to perform such an aggressive removal service. It was genuinely the worst nail experience I have ever had

I recently visited Lavender Nail Bar and overall the space itself was genuinely beautiful. The…read moreinterior is very well designed, clean, and extremely "Instagrammable," which definitely makes it a nice spot if you care about ambiance and aesthetics. When I arrived, the staff initially seemed friendly, and I did make sure to clearly explain my nail injury on my right thumb. That part felt acknowledged at first, which I appreciated. Kim did my pedicure and Theresa did my manicure, and both of them did a good job with the services themselves. However, what really disappointed me was the lack of attention when I asked multiple times for a cotton ball and foil for my injured nail. I asked three different people and kept getting overlooked, which was frustrating given that I couldn't properly soak or file that nail due to the injury. Another concern came up at checkout. I noticed the price for my manicure was changed at the register compared to what had been written by the nail technician. That felt dishonest and left a bad impression at the end of the visit. Because of those experiences, while the salon is beautiful and the technicians were skilled, I'm not sure I would return anytime soon.
