I started with Michele almost four years ago after growing my beard and trying to manage it myself. I knew about the shop where she used to work, and one day I walked in. I consider it my lucky day when Michele was free and able to take me. I visit every three weeks. For me, the haircut is the easy part, especially since we switched to buzz cut. Even so, Michele takes her time with no skimping. She cares that she does a quality job even for a guy with no hair. The beard is the trickier part, and it's amazing how much better it looks now that I've been (mostly) leaving it alone between sessions. Michele doesn't rush it, takes good care of all the extra trims here and there, shaves and shapes the back of my neck, always nipping and tucking and paying attention to details that I'll never see but others will. She used to listen to what I wanted, but after getting to know me she pretty much ignores what I say and just does what she knows is best. Perfectly ok with me; I've learned I can trust her. She's fun and easy to talk to. We've gotten to know each other pretty well (not hard with Michele) and I consider her my good friend. Generally I would go to my regular Barber who does a fantastical job. "No names". This time I decided to go for another route to meet up with my old friend "Michelemarie"! Not knowing what to expect, my experience was something else I tell ya. Right from the greetings to consultation, Michelle was very clear on trying to understand my needs. If you are looking for a higher end barber, she is the go to! She is very detailed and takes her time to perfect the cut, shave, buzz snippets and all.
